《Judah Judas Adventures》Chapter 86 - Mother? Father?

I take my wand, I aim my head and then, with a loud voice, I say the spell name: "Hiding wish", which will make me see the most desired thing I wanted my soul to see. After the spell has struck me, everything around me went black, I couldn't see anything. Nor the light from the room, or the surrounding furniture, the carpets, nor that teddy bear who was once to Fiona or Diana. I couldn't see anything, but then... something has started to shine in front of me. And the thing that was shining was something which will probably be hard to explain.
I woke up into another room, but this one was looking like a kitchen, and there I saw it, some food put on the table, a few spoons there, a wooden mug which contains water or apple juice made by someone who knows his way into creating amazing liquids by using fruits and vegetables. There were also wooden chairs there, but three out of four were down. I looked at those chairs, but right next to them there was something scary that I would never forget my parent's bodies. I know that they are my parents because Uncle Big Gus has told me that I have some things from them, such as my mother's eyes and my father's nose, and his hair colour. This seems crazy to think about it, but there I also saw a baby, who was on the floor, crying for help like a normal baby uses to do. and what I found scary is that it is me. The baby who is crying on the floor is actually me.
I go to him - or I in the past-, get him into my arms, and look sad at my parents, who are completely stabbed by a few arrows. Then, I decided to give it a shot. If this thing worked for some people outside in my world, it will probably work even in this one. After I put the baby body on the table, I got close to my Father's body. Right before I was about to take that arrow out, I heard a banging on the door. I look back, and that one was loud.

I thought that there would be some sort of cannibals hunter, so I took my knife from the belt in my left pocket where I hold my dagger and use it only in certain cases, like this one. I opened the door quickly, and there was someone I was not expecting. The identity there was someone who was wearing a completely black hood. His face cannot be seen in this room nor outside where the sun was in the sky and made everything feel hot and refreshing. The identity loo straight at me and he said to me.
"It is too late for them."
"Wh-What?" I asked the identity of who has started to make me feel scared.
"You should let them live in peace," he says while he goes through me like some sort of ghosts I heard in some novels I had in the library back in my Orphanage where I used to live until I made the eligible age to become a member of this kingdom and work for Fiona as a squire. "This is the last thing a human can do to them... You cannot bring dead people from the world beyond yours."
"World beyond? What are you talking about?"
"You see, Judah." says the identity who is turning to me and made me feel anxious because this identity does know my name. "Some people are born with goals, and others are born to just be a role in someone's life. And some gets born, just to destroy other people's dreams."
"So, you say that the ones who did this to my parents were born to destroy their life?"
"No... They are doing what their Gods told them to do."
He creates some black auras into his hands, which has some weird symbols I have never seen. Then, he touches my dead Mother's head, which made the body vanish slowly. He also did the same thing to my Father's body and it also has the same reaction. They were vanishing slowly, like the sand in the wind, while I look at them, unable to do something. The man with a hood on looks at those vanishing bodies and he tells me one last thing before he disappears and I wake up.

"You will not be able to save everyone. But at least, save the ones who matter to you much more."
"W-What? Do you mean?"
"You will understand it one day."
And then, everything went black instantly. And then I wake up, but this time into another room. And this one was looking like the one earlier, but slightly different. there, I also saw something weird and unexplainable, my parents, being alive and well, looking at me with a happy face.
"Mom?" I asked the female person who resembles somehow the body of the mother's corpse I saw earlier before that man with the black hood has taken them.
The female person shakes her head, which means that she is my Mother. And I asked the male person next to her if he is my Father, and he replied by the same gesture my Mother did it.
They were looking at me, smiling and feeling around that I have escaped, but I looked at them rather sad, not happy like others who have their chances to see their parents who were dead. I was crying at that time, feel the need to hug them, and wanting to tell them that I am sorry for what append back then. I leave my spot and goes to them, and start hugging them.
But, when I tried to do it, I couldn't. All that was in my hands was smoke or nothing... This means that the bodies of my parents are not real, rather than their... soul, I think... I remember that one time I have read a book about a boy who meets a Grim Reaper who gave him a chance to see their own parents, but their souls.
"You are dead?" I asked both of them while I was feeling sad that I cannot touch them and feel their touch.
My mother just shakes her head in approval, and m father also did the same gesture.
"I am... I am sorry. I did some horrible things in the past or some mistakes, that almost hurt me and the people close to me. And I also feel sorry because I didn't help you two at that time when we were attacked... I know. I was way too young at that time but I felt bad that I am the only one alive and you two are living in another world."
My parents did not respond to my question, they just stood there, looking at me with a neutral face. I was feeling quite scared and also awkward because I told them something important as they are just standing there, not hugging me nor trying to tell me that everything will be alright.
A few minutes later (I think), I have decided to leave this world by slapping my own face. And it worked, I arrive back into my world, in the room of the Fiona and Diana house, on the floor, with the wand on my hand and laid close to the bed. I get up pretty quickly and seeing that there was still light in my room, I have decided to check the spell I used against me. It says that there is a second effect if the person dear to you is dead, the one who the spell was cast to, it will display a man in the black hood who will collect their bodies and send them to a dead world, telling you something important which the one will have to learn in the future. And there was a tin detail there, it appears just once.
And this appearance might mean one single thing, as that is... the sentence he told me earlier might mean something in the future, but when exactly?

Flame Beneath The Snowfall
Alto is a world governed by Tones. Magic, as one might call it. Manifested through deep mental and physical conditioning, one can control the Tones in a way that is unique to them. The power to store items in gems, transfer life, affect a person's mind, and even the more primal abilities such as control of the elements. Those who have these supernatural abilities are called 'Vassals.' People that fully manifest their abilities are not as common as one might think, and not all Vassals acquire their ability through practice, given if conditions are met. In fact, those who had received much trauma manifest the Tones more frequently, albeit spontaneously. However, the rare kind of Vassals are those who manifest it from childhood. A gift, but not without its repercussions. Alto is stuck in a transitional era, where the line between modern and dated technology is blurred. One can travel to a city that has a tall skyline, bustling with people in sophisticated clothing, or a mere town governed by a lord, all the while riding on a powered vehicle. Cultures vary: Some turn to the more dated practices such as castes, others are more inclined to set equal footing on their people, led by nobility. Some are dedicated to become scholars, studying Alto's Tones, while others set foot on hunts, protecting lone towns from the creatures of some of the still-untamed lands. And the Vassals? Those willing are took under The Organization, an elusive group, its presence said to permeate all throughout Alto, taking care of Rogue Vassals that abuse their abilities and other businesses related to their side. But what is this story all about, you may ask? Well, set your sights on the upper portions of this huge landmass that is Alto. Yes, the 'whole' world is called Alto, but that is because the majority of the known people live on this large continent. Relieve yourself of the worrying tensions everywhere, and see the white snow. Trace the piercing mountaintops and focus your eyes between the valley. A town sits there. Mido. After realizing that the memories only left in his mind was the night of his town's imminent destruction in flames, a boy finds himself grasping for every fiber of his life as he lays down flat on the ground. Beneath him was soot mixed with the white snow. Fortunately, a group of investigators, who were supposed to answer their call for help, saved him from his sorry state. With a newfound second wind, but hampered by his loss of memory, he must solve his own case: Who had the audacity to set Mido, his town, aflame? Flame Beneath the Snowfall focuses on action, with a sense of adventure, but mostly the discovery of an outside world, and the protagonist's exposure to it. Add in a whisk of soft magical elements, and you get a story that I hope will be interesting to the readers. That is not to say that my work is without the sense of unnerving atmosphere, however. As a forewarning, there are elements of gore, horror, minor elements of mental trauma, etc. so it is not for all audiences. *The book is already completed. Although I have plans to continue the story (it would have to involve much larger scope in terms of world-building), I have yet to decide when to start the next entry.
