《Transcontinental》Vol.13 Ch.266 - Student counciL

"Did you see what happened to mademoiselle Archambeau?" One girl from another table asked her friend.
"I did! The poor girl..." Her friend replied, "I heard the student council is actively hunting the thieves down."
"Oh, that's good then. The student council doesn't let anyone get away with such crimes against humanity! Honestly, just thinking about those two pervs makes my blood boil!"
Sitting just a table or two away from the girls that were speaking ill of the two of us, we had continued sipping our coffees, all the while trying our hardest not to look suspicious. That is when the waitress of the establishment, Jelena, had approached us for whatever reason.
"Geez, those two guys are the talk of the town all of a sudden." She sat down with us to enjoy her break, surprising both me and Kevin, "You guys wouldn't happen to know anything about them, would you?"
"E-Excuse me? Miss, who are you?" Kevin scooted towards me and away from her.
"Just a friend of Meil's, same as you I assume." She smiled, "Thus, a friend of Meil's is a friend of mine, so nice to meetcha'!"
"Dude, since when did you know so many cute girls!?" Kevin whispered to me before donning a nervous smile, "S-Same here, mademoiselle! I'm DeciCin Kevin Papillon."
"Ah, another scholar boy. The pleasure is all mine, I am Jelena Velimirovich." She replied, "So hey, just between us, do you know who those two panty raiders are?"
"Huh?!" Kevin tried letting go of her tight grip, but she didn't let him, "A-Ah, ha-ha... N-No clue! Erm, please let go..."
"Really? But if you're students, doesn't that mean you live in the same dorms as them?" She asked.
"Looks like your detective skills are quite sharp, Jelena." I smiled, "We do know them, however it was unanimously decided by all the boys of the dorm to not speak a word about them to anyone. Think of it like a bro code of sorts."
"Ah, a bro code! I totally get that." She backed off after hearing my lie, "Yeah, I actually saw the student council's description of the two perps which they had posted on the campus' noticeboard. The descriptions matched you two quite a bit, so I just wanted to make sure. Best be careful though, others might start some theories about you."
"Hold on, where is this noticeboard you speak of?" I furrowed my brows.
"Why the sudden interest? Didn't you day you had nothing more to speak of regarding those two?" She smiled deviously, as if she saw right through us from the very start.
"C-Curiosity is the thrill of life, right!?" Kevin saved us in the nick of time, "Especially for us scholars, haha! P-Plus, I've got a girl I'm interested in who really likes detectives, so mystery-solving sort of became a hobby for me."
"Ooh, love stories!" She got all giddy all of a sudden.
"Not now, speak of love stories later all you want with him." I interrupted, "Instead, for now, please tell us more about the student council and the location of this noticeboard."
"Ah, damn..." She sighed, but continued explaining nonetheless, "But fine, have it your way. The campus noticeboard is literally next to the campus' gates, obviously. Though the other question is a lot more difficult to explain."
"How so?" Kevin pressed for answers.
"Well, before anything I would like to note that I'm not a student of any University, so take my info with a huge grain of salt. Basically, the only thing that is known about the student council is that there are 4 members, and that they operate overnight."

"Huh? For a non-student, you seem to know quite a bit." Kevin noticed.
"I'm a waitress, what did you expect?" She stood up, "When you work in the field for as long as I have, you tend to develop a knack for eavesdropping."
Leaving us with the first lead on this investigation we had apparently gotten ourselves caught up in, our first instinct was to go get the mademoiselle and ask her to join us. Though when we got there, we were met with the door to her room being locked shut. Knocking on it for a bit, we were met with a loud warning.
"Leave! I'm still mad at you, so just go!" She yelled from behind the doors, "And besides, didn't you learn from your mistakes last time!? What if you get caught in the girls' dorms!?"
"Do not worry, everyone is in class right now. Well, safe from you." I replied back nonchalantly, "We just wanted to ask for your guidance in terms of directions again."
"Grr...! No!" She slammed the doors wide open to yell at us directly, before suddenly turning shy and hiding behind it, "I-I mean...! B-Because of you two d-doing that, I can't even leave my room without getting hoarded on all sides by the girls "encouraging me" that it'll be alright. I-It's just a stupid pair of p-panties, I really couldn't care less!"
"So, hear me out - If I were to ask for a bra this time..." Kevin saw the opportunity and took it.
"Absolutely not." She glared at him from behind the door, "Sigh, I let you keep the p-panties because you said they saved your life, but just know that I'm not that type of woman!"
"And I didn't mean it like that, honest!" He suddenly started flubbing his words, "If there are any panties I'd want, it'd be yours!"
"Huh!?"
"A-Ah, w-what I meant by that was more like: "You're my savior, so I'd like some more defense items!" P-Please don't misunderstand!"
"O-Oh, okay..." She quieted down before suddenly piping back up again, "A-Actually, not okay! I won't be going with you and that's final!"
Wanting to slam the door shut on us, I had put my foot in just as she was about to close it, effectively stopping her in her tracks as I pleaded her honestly.
"Mademoiselle, please at least give us this one simple bit of info." I begged, "Tell us something about the student council."
"Oh, just that?" She tilted her head, "Well, let's see, besides the obvious, there's Sarah, Leon and..."
As she named off two mysterious individuals, we had suddenly heard thousands of footsteps that most resembled the gaits of the girls. Looks like we ran out of time, so to once again evade getting caught, we had asked the mademoiselle for another pair of clothes to use as a disguise as we jumped over to the mens' dorms once again. Yep, we caused another scandal within the dorms, however it's not like a repeat offense is gonna change anything, since we're already guilty as is. Let's just hope this doesn't turn into a repeating gag or something like that.
***
After taking off our clothes-masks we had been given by the mademoiselle, I thought to recap what all we knew of the student council, however it seems Kevin here had other thoughts occupying his mind. Namely, it seems that in her haste, the mademoiselle forgot to take off the brazier from within her spare shirt she had handed Kevin to use as a mask. It seems the panic he had during the moment had only made him realize this now, when the dust has settled.

"Uooooh! Score! I can't believe it, is a God on my side or something like that?!" He raised the brazier high above his head, the sunlight from the windows illuminating its lime green colors vividly, "Oh, but since I didn't get permission for this one, I probably can't proudly display it like I can the holy relic."
"Looks like you are slowly but surely living up to your title of Panty Thief, Kevin." I sighed as he eagerly groped the two mounds, "Seriously man, you are beginning to look a lot like my friend Issei."
"Issei? Who's that?" He tilted his head, "Weird name... Well, who cares? Bra-groping time!"
As he continued to indulge himself in the pleasure, we were surprised to hear a knock at the door. The person on the other side was probably just the mademoiselle, as she probably noticed her brazier missing as well, however when I went to open the door...
"Yo." A young boy with brownish hair whipped out something that looked like a badge, "I'm Student Council President Lemmy, you two Meil and Kevin?"
"Kid, who are you?" I asked, "Where are your parents?"
"Grr...! I'm fourteen, and my dad's staying with me, what's it to ya'?!" He stomped on the floor in rage, "Just answer the damned question already!"
Well, of course I know that kids that turned 13 or older can attend the University, so I can completely believe him when he says he's a student here. He seems bratty, but those are the types that are the most dangerous and efficient in their occupations. I best continue to act all naive and innocent as I dodge these questions, because if he really is from the student council, we're as good as expelled the moment either one of us reveal to him our names.
"Alright, this has got to be some kind of prank." I chuckled as I turned to Kevin, "Right, Fred? Kevin and Meil suddenly go out to buy milk, then some kid waltzes into the room spouting nonsense?"
"Y-Yeah!" He immediately followed my lead, "Alright kid, show us where they are and we'll let you go about the rest of your day."
"Tell me your names." His Eyes suddenly glew a bright Yellow, "I command you."
"Kevin Papillon." Kevin suddenly replied honestly without missing a beat, "And he's Meil Deram."
"Good boy." This kid smiled briefly at him before approaching and punching the both of us straight in the gut, "Alright, Leon, Sarah, carry them to the student council room."
"Right away, sir." Two people that looked to be just a bit younger than Kevin showed themselves from behind the doorframe and picked us up as we lost consciousness.
Waking up what felt like just a couple of moments later, I had noticed I was tied to a chair in an unfamiliar room, with Kevin sitting in a similar position right next to me, still conked out. Judging from the small bit of light that was coming from between the windows' blinds, it also appeared to be quite late into the night. Four people stood in front of us, whom I presume are all member of the student council. Those for are, from right to left: Leon, Lemmy, Sarah and...
"Mademoiselle!?" I raised my eyebrows in astonishment.
"You know these two, Archambeau?" The kid named Lemmy turned to her, his arms still firmly crossed, "They're the guys we're looking for, y'know?"
"N-Not a clue..." She lied with her Eyes closed shut, "T-Though I still think it's alright to let them off easy, w-with a warning or something... Ha-ha..."
"Don't mess with me!" He suddenly started berating her, "I'm the top dog of this University! I keep the peace here, and if even one student thinks they can make a mockery out of a place of study by pulling shit like this, then they've got another thing coming!"
"Wow, that is actually pretty responsible of you." I genuinely gained some respect for him, "I had figured you were just some tyke abusing his powers to stay up way past your bedtime."
"You shut up!" His Eyes glew bright Yellow once again, indicating he was using Command.
Just like that, my mouth had shut itself so fast that I ended up biting my tongue, making my mouth start to bleed. Yep, if someone were to see this sight from an objective point of view, it'd look quite bad for the student council, which gives me an idea...
"Heeeelp! Help meeee!" I shut my Eyes before screaming at the top of my lungs, "They are going to harm us, please help!"
"O-Oi, shut it, idiot!" Lemmy suddenly lost all the steam in his voice.
Before long, a strong pair of footsteps ran through the halls, and as the room was caught in a panic, the locked doors to the student council room had swung open, revealing the burly older man with an Eye patch that had just kicked it open. This man's first instinct was to reprimand Lemmy, though the moment he saw Kevin and I tied up on our chairs...
"Meil! Is that really you!?" He raised his eyebrows, "Don't tell me my boy beat YOU up, of all people!?"
"Lee!?" I was equally as surprised.
"Dad, you know this damned panty thief-?" Lemmy asked, only to get caught by the collar and raised off the ground.
"Panty thief!? Are you stupid!?" Lee Eyed his soul as he shouted, "This man seated here, wounded, is none other than the man that saved me while we were stuck in prison! Had it not been for him, I would have long died by now, so untie him this instant!"
"G-Gulp, o-okay...!" Lemmy got dropped to the ground, anxiously untying me with all his might, "Listen here, panty thief, you're lucky you got to meet my father at such a scary time for him! But the moment he leaves, I'm gonna...!"
"Go on." Lee grabbed him by the shoulders, instilling absolute fear in his mind as he did so, "Tell me. Whatcha' gonna do to the man that saved your old man's life, huh? Because whatever you do to him, I'm sure as hell gonna do to you."
At this point, poor Lemmy here was about to piss himself fully. But wow, to think I'd get to meet up with Lee so soon? Actually, now that I think about it, he did say he was going straight to Simpleton to go visit his son who was a student there. So that's him, huh? The boy is bratty and scary when Lee isn't around, though it seems he only has respect for Lee and no one else. Yet again, I was carried by my connections, though I'm not complaining.
As everyone from the student council dispersed from the room, Kevin had finally woken up, leaving only him, me, Lemmy, Lee and the mademoiselle inside. This is gonna be one hell of a conversation...
