《Nostalgic Gamer in a Cultivation World》Chapter 236: Raiding the Sturak Cave

Dyne and his team charged forward as the front lines had collapsed.
Normally, not even a team of Martial Formation experts could do such damage. But Dyne and his group had managed to perform several powerful sneak attacks that led to the collapse of the fort.
The group had passed through the fort and was now inside the deep cave of the mountain.
“So this cave leads into an underground portal that leads to that nearby kingdom, huh? I wonder what games I can play there…” Dyne began to daydream.
“Erm… Master Dyne. You better start fighting.” Vahn said as he was delivering more combos against the enemy.
Serge and Arya were leading the charge, and bodies upon bodies fell. The Gizam’s Bubble Crush attack had reached deep inside the cave, and many were poisoned.
Noa had a strange expression as she moved closer. The number of dead people had begun to affect her young mind, and Terra was already busy consoling her.
“Big Brother… Do we really need to kill them?” Noa finally asked.
“Yes. They serve a dark master and intend to kill the village of Big Sister Rena. She told you about this world, right?” Dyne asked.
“Yes. Big Sis Arya also explained what you and she had to do…” Noa sighed.
“Noa. I’m sorry that I have to involve you in such a mess as young as you are. But this is war. We fight to protect. For now, you may choose to retreat. I understand.”
“...Thank you, Big Brother. I’m sorry.”
“Don’t be sorry, Noa. I should be sorry for being too harsh on you. Your attack with the Gizam is good enough help for me.” Dyne assured her.
Noa began to retreat as the team continued forward.
“Vahn.” Dyne called out.
“It’s alright, Master Dyne. I know. I don’t want to lose anybody precious to me. So I will fight.” Vahn answered knowing what Dyne was going to say.
“That’s good. You and Gala have to keep your sister Noa as pure as she is. Be strong that she won’t need to kill.”
“I understand, Master Dyne…”
Strafe and Jedo were surprised that Dyne had done this. It was as if he was treating them as real humans now.
"Wow. You have a heart."
"I have a soft spot for kids. I miss those kids..." Dyne smiled as he recalled his bonding moment with the group of kids he would bond on his numerous missions around the world.
The group charged deeper into the cave and realized that the fortress inside was more complicated than they thought.
The Gizam’s attack only reached the outer areas, and more knights, archers, and beasts of all forms were inside the cave.

Ranks of knights with their shield beasts and various monstrous beasts with huge fangs and claws began to charge.
Some of the beasts were as fast as the Chocobos, and Dyne had to use his magic spells and the Wild Arm to shoot them down.
Another group of barbarians and knights formed a wall and their respective beasts and mounts. A Shield Beast, a smaller triceratops, stood at the very front.
“Young Triceratops? I think a Gimard can deal with those.” So Dyne and Jedo summoned a Gimard.
Two Gimards suddenly appeared as a pillar of fire rose
BOOM! BOOM!
Two Gimards shot out and performed a suicide attack that knocked back the Shield beast.
Serge dove in the opening and attacked as Arya shot those aiming to hit or ambush Serge.
As Serge broke through the ranks, the two serpents spat out fire and ice on both sides, injuring more knights.
Each slash of Grim created a strange, shocking attack that caused the armored knights to stagger.
Vahn jumped out of the Chocobo and dove towards the place of the formation that had weakened as Serge broke through.
Fire and Spirit combined and gathered around Vahn’s shoulder as he ran and gave a shoulder tackle to the knight.
“Charging Scorch!”
BOOM!
The knight that Vahn tackled was thrown back.
Emera also dove in and began to attack them using her terrifying powers of great cold.
Numerous red vultures and other flying beasts were approaching.
“I’ll deal with those flying beasts.” Emera flew up to fight the flying beasts, and darkness appeared as she began to switch using tangible and intangible attacks.
But suddenly. Emera noticed that their attacks were actually harming her!
"Tsk. These are soul-devouring beasts! This Sturak sent beasts that can harm ghosts and undead..." Emera frowned as she retreated from the great number of beasts and led them around.
Back on the ground, the cold attack of Emera gave Vahn the opening that he needed.
He began to perform Arts after Arts against the sword-wielding and ax-wielding enemies.
Power Punch and Hyper Elbow landed, with each creating explosive attacks.
Dyne was amazed at Vahn’s improvement.
“Amazing. With his mastery over magic and Spirit, he can now easily do Fire Tackle as if it was Charging Scorch!” Dyne smiled as he kept shooting at the Shield Beasts. Thanks to Choco's fast speed, he managed to run to the side of the wall and shot the Shield beasts on the body.
BANG!
Massive dark energy exploded out of the space above, and the flying birds began to drop from the attack of Emera.
"Looks like Emera is improving as well."
Suddenly, Dyne felt a powerful Time-Space power surge deep inside the cave.
“Reinforcements. Ugh. I guess this attack will do for now. But I guess while we’re here, we’ll just steal a few things in their armory. I wonder if they have a library here…”

The group continued to attack and move deeper and deeper in the cave until Dyne found the armory!
Dyne also jumped with joy as the armory had a pile of books.
“Amazing! Even in this place, they have bookshelves!” Dyne was amazed and couldn’t believe his luck.
“I heard this is common practice for Wizard kingdoms and other kingdoms that require vast knowledge. They need to have a repository of books nearby if any of their men are on the verge of breaking through the next level. “
“Oh? So that means we might have more books if we raid the wizard kingdom!” Dyne licked his lips.
He brought all the items into his Monster Hive.
“Let’s go! We’ve done enough damage. It’s too dangerous to stay and fight the reinforcements, especially now that they are more organized.” Dyne ordered and made their way out.
As they were moving out, Dyne saw Noa with a small triceratops.
“Big Brother Dyne! Can I keep it? Can I keep it?” Noa asked.
“Brilliant idea Noa! Where did you find this?”
“There’s a small table outside. There were several dinosaurs there.”
“Little Noa. Raising Triceratops and beasts like this is not easy. They are impossible to domesticate if we don’t know what to do.” Arya shook her head.
“Yes. My father invested in trying to raise them, hoping to create a business in monster-breeding and taming within Martsirt. We failed miserably. This isn’t as easy as it seems. Even the great Monster Tamer, Sammy Oak, who my father asked advice from, concluded that the vegetation in this area and the temperature cannot help these little ones grow.” Emera added.
“Is this true, big brother? Is it... so hard to raise these beasts?” Noa teared up.
“Actually, no. It’s super easy. Barely an inconvenience! The Triceratops have diets of massive healing plants. There is little here since this place only grows healing berries which is not their dietary preference. But the healing leaves in Legaia and the Magic leaves can be used as a replacement. So don’t worry, Noa! Go ahead and tame it. I can teach you how to raise it up. In fact, why don’t we go to that stable area and get more monsters!”
“…” Arya fell silent and sighed as she gave a sigh.
"Of course, Master Dyne was a genius Monster Tamer! Why did I even think otherwise?"
“… I have to nothing to say but am full of deep admiration to my master.” Emera shook her head.
The group began to escape out and went towards the area where Noa said.
The stable was situated at the side of the cave.
There were several unconscious men as Noa clearly used her arts against them.
There were several small eggs and dinosaurs nearby. The entire area had a strange rock that produced heat.
“Magic stones. From the books, this should be weaker versions of the Wizard Ore. But on this planet, they should be quite expensive…” Dyne identified the stones.
The eggs and dinosaur young were there. Several other birds and beasts in their cages began to move and panic as they saw the new people.
“See anything you like? I'mma go with that small raptor!” Dyne was amazed, and his dinosaur romance was stirred.
"KWEH!" Choco frowned and shouted as she could sense the emotions of Dyne.
"Oh, you'll always be my first love, Choco!" Dyne laughed.
“But Master Dyne! We can’t take them. They require heat to live. We can’t carry all those beasts, and the perilous cold of the forest could harm them.” Arya added.
“Yes, Master Dyne! They need a hot place to keep warm. The young Triceratops should be able to survive, but these younglings will die! Unless we have a god-tiered artifact they call the Monster Hive that can store living beasts, we can’t move them.”
“Oh, right! You haven’t seen Ururun and Gyoro move into this Monster Hive. So you must have assumed this was just a dimensional storage space, right? No. This is a Monster Hive. And it’s Brimstone too! So it’s has a more powerful heat compared to these magic stones.”
“…”
“…”
“… I have to nothing to say but am full of deep admiration to my master.” Arya and Emera chorused together this time.
Dyne took everything away and even brought the magic stones with him. And after that, the group made their retreat.
“That was great! We got so much! Let’s head over to the other camp!” Dyne laughed.
Suddenly, Arya frowned.
“Master Dyne.”
“Yeah. Don’t worry. That’s not an enemy. You need to increase your ability to sense through Spirit, Arya. That’s Amorien. How did she find me? Dyne smiled.
A beautiful woman appeared, and the moment she saw Dyne, she ran ahead to give him a hug.
“Master Dyne! I’ve missed you.”
BANG!
But an arrow filled with martial power struck her. It wasn’t sharp, but Amorien was knocked back.
“Sorry. I thought it was an enemy.” Earth Arya chuckled.
“LADY ARYA!” Arya called out to Earth Arya.
“Arya! This is war! Don’t lose our Ara ara advantage!” Earth Arya declared.

The Caring Dungeon
NOTE: I, as an 'author' am on a(n) (indefinite?) Hiatus. Without getting into too many details, the person who convinced me to write, who was my muse and my everything, is no longer in my life. I think about writing and I get physically ill and ache in ways that transcend the physical. I want to want to write, but I cannot find the energy. Life events, combined with apparently thin-skin when it comes to personal attacks on this platform, make it impossible for me. The messages, comments, and reviews I recieve(d) were so detrimental to my mental health that I've already removed one story from this website. This one remains up only because the criticisms located in this work are about my writing, and not personal attacks.I just felt like I should put something out there for anyone who is thinking about starting this story. It is not completed. I don't know that it ever will be at this point. I have lost my muse.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Not everything in this world is natural, and it's only natural to fear the unnatural. Fortunately for Manning, he was natural. Unfortunately, he found himself to be in a very unnatural state. Manning was trapped inside of a gemstone, called a dungeon core. Luckily for Manning, he found himself capable of using his newly found unnatural power to make a nature filled forest. With the help of Cara, his unnatural roommate, and Ash, his nature spirit companion, Manning dreams of covering the continent with the most beautiful and dangerous forest it has ever seen. His only other goals are to protect himself and Cara, and if he could ever remember, recover his memories. This is my first time attempting to write anything. The London Phantom: A Superhero Webnovel
London is an old city. It has survived floods, fires, plagues and the man-made smog of industry. It has stood firm against the armies of Vikings, Saxons, Normans and the aerial might of the Luftwaffe. It has borne witness to dynsatic feuds, civil wars, military occupation and the sin of regicide. Through all these disasters the city has survived not through force of arms, though its walls were once the envy of the world, but through adapting to the times. Enemies become dependant on the city, and the wealth of the world that flows through it, and so become new allies. If the rulers change, then the city welcomes them with open arms, and open lines of credit. In this way the city seeks to preserve its ancient rights and position of power. Superheroes are a new phenomenon. The first superpowered man walked out of the Nevada desert in 1950, and the world was forever changed. Across the planet, men and women with exceptional abilities made themselves known. At first, they were little more than another source of fear in the era of Mutually Assured Destruction, but over time attitudes changed and the concept of the Superhero was created in the city of Los Angeles. From there the phenomenon spread across the globe; superheroes went from being feared arms of the state to a symbol of hope in these maddening times. Times have changed. Sixty years from the emergence of the first superhero, the City of London stands on a precipice. Two years have passed since the madman Fawkes nearly brought down the United Kingdom and the remnants of the Bow Street Runners, London's premier superhero team, are struggling to keep order in a city that seems on the brink of collapse. London stands on a knife's edge, with criminal organisations that once stuck to the shadows becoming more bold, and ancient powers from myth and legend making themselves known. Alexander Laszewski has recently 'awakened' and has become entirely unremakable, effectively making himself invisible to the world. He must use his newfound power to navigate a city on the edge of collapse. If only he could figure out how to turn it off.

The Novel's Extra's Extra
As a reader, Cristopher always looked for things that entertained him, didn't matter what the "critics" said, all that matters was his own opinion on the novel, so he started reading "The Novel's Extra", a webnovel that despicts an author who is transmigrated to his own novel. It was fun and all with its own good and bad points, really, one of his favorites novels at the end of the journey, and that's taking into account the little fact that he didn't have too many things he was able to enjoy, not in that empty shell that was called life for him... Why could someone be born like that? With a void inside, an endless void that slowly consumes oneself... But... for better or worse... everything changed one day, the same day he woke up to discover he had the same faith of the author whose novel he just finished reading, becoming an extra in a novel, becoming The novel's extra's extra... /Ok, now that's the description I thought of... first of all, for those of you who are reading this, if any, a few points I have to make clear: 1. I'm not an english native speaker, so if you find anything wrong in the text, please let me know, that would help me learn, and I would be thankful for that.2. I'm writting this out of pure "enjoyment", so while I'll try to be constant, I'll not make any promises.3. True reason why I'm writing this is because I'm going through a moderate to crippling depression right now (and no, is not because anything trully bad and horrendous happened to me, it seems to have something to do with my brain's malfuctioning, among other things), and doctors told me to try writing as I enjoy reading. So yeah, this is more like a self-help excercise, to keep myself distracted while trying to be safe from my self.4. I choose to make a fanfiction of "The Novel's Extra" as I don't trully know how to write, and because I really loved that webnovel, though there are some points I didn't particulary liked.5. If you see some (let's be clear, really much) self insertion on this series, well, that may be me trying to escape reality, to which I make an early warning and disclaimer, and also ask for forgiveness, as I said before, this is more of an excercise, so don't take it too serious.6. I'll be a slow writer, as I have to still check a few things from the novel, even when I've read it like 3 or 4 times already, and because I know shit about writing a novel or a series.7. If you get to enjoy this, then that's good, I would be glad about it, maybe even more motivated, but I don't really expect this to be any good. Thanks to you all who may, or may not, be reading this novel./
