《Judah Judas Adventures》Chapter 97 - Secret Building - Part 2

On the next day, Fiona and I are heading to the Royal Palace, the palace where our great King Julius lives, and control this kingdom to take a good road for our people, and he is also going to do some changes here in this realm. We are entering the main gate and heading towards the rooms where squires and knights are changing into their uniform. Fiona goes to the building of the knights, while I go to one of the squires.
I enter the building and head to my locker. I walk like a normal person to that locker, and then, I suddenly stopped after I heard someone saying my name. Furthermore, I turned around, and I saw there the only person I could recognize very easily since we met from the beginning of my journey, it is Ron, and he is smiling at me.
"Yo, Judah," said Ron to me. "How is your life doing?"
"Good. How about you?" I asked him.
"Likewise… Have you heard the news? There is going to be a new knight here."
"Oh, really?"
"Yes. I do not know his name, but I heard he is coming from the Desert, and he is a very dangerous guy who could sense anyone from miles away."
"I hope he is a good guy." I said to Ron. " Anyway, did you finish that mission with Marcus?"
" We did, and it was exhausting." he starts to tell me his mission from yesterday while both of us are changing into our squire's uniforms. " At first, we thought the mission we have taken would be an easy one, but instead it was really hard for us because we had to deal with a witch lady who threatens us that she will send us to Hell if we will not attack her or arrest her. That female wizard has to be arrested because she broke a few important laws of this kingdom. But, we caught the witch and send her to the prison cells. "

" And how much you've got?"
" Twenty gold coins per person."
"To me, it doesn't sound that much for a tough witch."
"How come?"
"Fiona and I had a few missions where we killed a tribe of cannibals who came to our lands without permission, and we got as a reward, ten gold coins per villager, and we killed only twenty of those."
"We could've had that money if you and Fiona wouldn't take the mission before they were about to be posted."
What can I say about this, Fiona knows the man who is working at the quests and announce them. He also announces some important knights, like Fiona, about the missions that are posted and put on the big wall of squires and knights who are looking at missions and take one of them, then runs into the action.
We quickly finished changing our clothes, and I head to Fiona, who already got two parchments that contain our mission for today. Looks like we are going to go into different missions. I wonder what missions we got.
"Judah. Today we are going to a watchtower to clean it up." she says to me. "And after that, we will haunt a few beasts in Arges."
"Cool. Which watchtower are we cleaning?"
"Um, it is the one where your family used to store documents. Ain't that wacky?"
Fiona knows about that tower and this didn't surprise me, the thing who surprised it is, who put that quest on the wall and how it got the approval of King and the people who are working on the Quest jobs. Fiona and I didn't stay much to talk because in a few seconds we are getting on the horses and runs to the place to haunt those beasts since it is much closer to us. While we were travelling each on their horses, I am thinking, what kind of surprises is going to await me into that secret building my aunt and the uncle mentioned a few times in the war?

A few moments later, we got to the place where those beasts are located. Our first mission is to haunt beasts, which are known as Orc. Not those who are living in cold regions and help people who are adventuring there. The Hot ones (Neither those at the Hostels) are living in hot regions and eating human flesh. There are three who kidnapped a few kids from that village, an elderly woman and a horse. These orcs are probably so hungry, that they were close to even eat a poisonous chicken made by a villager, and that is something a villager told me when we asked them about the location of the orcs.
One villager told us that the hideout of those beasts is mostly in the caves carved into mountains or the underground ones. Another villager told us that he saw a few orcs leaving a mountain cave, not far from their village. Fiona and I are quickly getting on our horses and head to that place the villager told us. We are prepared and ready to put down some nasty orcs who are kidnapping people and eating them.
A few minutes later, we arrived at the location where villagers told us the cave it is located. Fiona and I see one Orc guarding the gave by using an improvised spear which was mostly made by using a sharp rock tied with a rope by a weak big stick that can break it easily. Fiona and I laughed at the guy weapons, and she casually leaves the horses, she walks slowly to the orc, and she was about to wave her weapon, but at the moment she was close to taking out her weapon, something truly unthinkable happened.
Eight orcs... Wearing heavy armour made by the most durable metal in this world... Aiming their huge swords which can still, not, be compared to the size of Fiona's to her presence and laughing at her. One of them, who is wearing dreadlocks, laughs at Fiona and told her.
"Prepared to die?"
"You asked the wrong person." replied Fiona before she cut that monster, his entire armour in half by using only one swing of her giant sword.

A Goblin's Blade (dropped)
He looked down the path, which was littered with many things. Things he found in abundance were such of violence, desire and gore while things he found in scarcity were such of love, friendship and glory. At the start of the path was a naive, green goblin while at the end of it... Well at the end of it stood him: the godslayer, the monster from the forest, the walking death... He had many names but none so that perfectly captured his image as well as the Mad King. Authors note: Edit: Trying to release a chapter per day, around 2-2.5k words each. An evolution story about a goblin. This is under lit-rpg but I'm focusing more on the plot/characters instead of the usual features of such stories such as the blue tables that take ages to make or the stat screens. In essence it's closer to high fantasy than lit-rpg. Much appreciated if you read the Prologue to see whether you like it or not. Cover image is "Evolution" taken from art done by WhoAmI01

Tampering or re-writing a being's Story. Of which contains a being's everything; from birth to death, everything is written within their Story. Tampering with such books would not only mark the being, but cause the Librarians who take care of such items to fly into a rage and slay the perpetrator. However, with the Ageless being the fifth strongest being within the Universe, she doubts if she could find a Librarian strong enough to slay her husband for the crimes he has committed. How did she come to suspect him? Her own story contains many pages which were re-written, and the one who has access to it is both herself and her husband. Therefore, she searches for answers, and has been given the story titled The Devil King in order to find that which she desires. Even if the cost is to read the whole book before she could act fully.
