Took far too long to finally reach this point, but here I am after a few months of relative silence. The title of this post makes things pretty clear off the bat, but there's some details to go over.
Firstly, because I know quite a few people glance over author notes, I don't intend to drop this story with just half of Book 5 left to go. At the very least I have somewhere between 20-40 chapters left for this book (from where the advance chapters are, Chapter 272 for reference). Book 6 may take significantly more time just due to its overall structure, as well as avoiding entire chapters spent on worldbuilding and exposition. Guess I'll find out when I start writing it. Anyway, onto the main topics...

The Book 2 Pre-order is now available on Amazon, currently as a purchasable ebook, but those with KU will be able to read it there on release. As for the date, 3rd of April, I chose the soonest possible with everything ready. I am just waiting on the high-res version of cover art from a typographic artist, which is why the current listing has a blurry image. The price is $4.99 like Book 1, although a pdf/epub copy of the RR chapters will be made available before the book goes live. These are free to access on my discord server, but following the release must be requested so that I follow KU's TOS. In the future, there will probably also be short-term deals on earlier books in the series during new releases, whether this means you'd rather wait for a discounted price or just pay the full $4.99 is a possibility I want readers to be aware of. This discount will like be between 50-80% off the base price, I have yet to decide an exact amount. And now the other serious news which I wasn't here to announce.

This one is on me for the problematic silence during this time period, the Audiobook released ~2 weeks ago. Because almost everything was managed by Podium there's very little for me to say here, but overall I can say they were generally a great help throughout the process and I was satisfied with the choices they made. I'm looking forward to the releases of Books 2 & 3 as Audiobooks in the future, and if they perform well I see no reason the whole series couldn't find their way into the format.
To end off this matter, we also have several pieces of artwork that I had commissioned including a few possible repeats because I cannot remember which were already posted to RR.

Ozzy was a man of the wild. Raised in a remote village atop the world's mightiest mountain, he'd been taught to respect and revere the natural world. However, what would happen if Ozzy suddenly found himself devoid of his beloved wilds? What would the man do if the realm he knew - one of wonder, magic, and chaos - was replaced with a man-made environment of concrete, industry, and steam? Ozzy could never imagine such a thing happening, and yet that was his new reality. After losing a fateful confrontation with a mad wizard, he and his friends found themselves transported to a strange world so thoroughly alien that every waking moment feels like a fever dream. Separated and scattered to the four corners of this land, each of these adventurers will need to adapt, survive, and overcome if they hope to reunite. They would also need to do so quickly. The sooner they are able to find one another, the sooner they can figure out a way back home and have another crack at putting an end to the villain's plans. Whether such a thing was actually possible in a world with barely any magic in it was a valid concern, but Ozzy had more immediate things to worry about. For instance, why did the air smell like a perpetual forest fire? How did ships sail through the sky as if it were water? And most importantly, was the pavement he was hurtling towards at high speed much softer than it looked? Probably not, but a man could hope.

[Before you read - the story is officially dead. The reasons behind it are posted in the last chapter.] In a magic world on the verge of an industrial revolution, Ari Ragnarsson must uncover the truth behind his parents' disappearance. They were part of an organization known as the Order, which protects mankind from various threats - both human and supernatural. Now, after Ari's brands finally manifest, he leaves the safety of his village and travels to the continent. Strength is all that matters in this world and he must learn how to control his powers. There, he meets a man from another world, who's being hunted for merely existing. Their fates become intertwined, but not in a way either of them would appreciate. Author's note (contains minor non-story related spoilers about the MC and setting) This is a progression fantasy with LITRPG elements sprinkled on top. The main character is not a spellsword, but a summoner/support mage hybrid. Since he wasn't ambushed by a random god, there's no cheat item/spell and he has to rely on his skills and wits to survive in a world full of monsters. The story tries to show the moment when the old starts to be replaced by the new, with a healthy dose of magic and a little steampunk in the background. Also, it revolves around a party dynamic akin to RPG sessions. No health/mana bars. Numbers are secondary and the LITRPG elements focus more on classes/spells/runes and their evolutions. Tables are sparse at the beginning, but from chapter 7 onwards they appear more often. Still, I won't be copy-pasting the whole character sheet dozens of times per chapter.
