Avishag lay on her stomach in the shell of the old container where she and Melik and Badem had spent so many days in the past seasons. She held the old headphones up to her ears, fingers fiddling half-idly with the dials and wires. Half her focus was on the machine, and half elsewhere entirely. It felt right, being here. Like, when she was inside the old container, things weren’t so bad anymore. Yeah, a lot of the other containers around her were bombed out or ripped to shreds – but she didn’t have to look at those. If she closed her eyes and ignored the sounds beyond the wall to the south and listened to her own heart instead, she could imagine that in a few minutes Melik would come back, open the door, and step inside. Badem would probably be right behind him, telling some old joke they’d all heard a hundred times before.
They’d laugh anyway.
And they would never, never leave Avishag.
Her focus shifted when she heard something on the radio, though. That wasn’t unusual in itself – there was always someone talking on the radio, no matter which channel she tuned it to. The little thing was weak, couldn’t send signals, could barely pick them up – but it had certain advantages all the same. It’s like this, she thought – everyone is always watching the big guys – or the big radio machines – and trying to make sure they aren’t spotted by them. But there’s always a little fish that slips through the net. It’s just that nobody pays that little fish any mind, because what can it do? Stir up currents to change the mood of the ocean?

The little fish gets to live, but only because it’s too insignificant for anybody to care about killing it.
But the little fish sees things, hears things, that no one else does.
“The siege is going to be over soon, or so I heard.”
“Don’t be stupid. Things might get easier from here on out. Maybe. Or they might get a hell of a lot harder.”
“But we have the Emperor with us! God is on our side!”
“He’s not here yet. Besides, it’s not like he can just rip the walls down without effort.”
“But I thought –“
“That’s the problem, you think too much but you don’t pay enough attention. It makes you gullible. Look, the Emperor carries with him the memories of every past host, and that’s an asset, but –“
“Uh, captain, isn’t that…”
“Don’t worry about it, soldier. I’m just saying not to get cocky. We’ve been here long enough – how many failed attempts to get past that wall have you seen?”
“…”
“Exactly.”
“But the Emperor’s almost here – he’ll change all that!”
“…”
“…”
“Maybe. I hope so. Kill ‘em all, then we can all finally go home.”
Avishag stood up and walked to the door of the container. There was someone who needed to hear this.

The Evil God is forced to become a Sidekick?
Fauros, one of the trillions of gods that inhabited the cosmos, and the only one that almost managed to reach true omnipotence, was cornered and betrayed by everyone he once considered an ally, his greed, and thirst for power made even the most vicious of gods to become part of the alliance to exterminate him. In every meaning, the entire cosmos united in order to stop him from reaching ultimate power, and unfortunately for Fauros, they succeeded.Fauros felt his own body crumbling apart as his existence dissipated into cosmic dust. However, right as he was about to disappear for once and for all, the voice of something or someone called out to him and bound a strange rule on his shattered soul [Your soul shall be of use for me... Not every day do you find a disappearing almost-omnipotent god ready to serve you] "Who's gonna serve you motherfucker? Come here and I will rip out your **** before then I ***** into your disgusting *****" ... Fauros wasn't exactly very well mannered... ... [Look at your tongue, even on the verge of disappearing you keep badmouthing everything in existence... -*Sigh*- Either way, I will now send you towards your new mission] "What new mission you fuck, give me my body back so that I can kick that ugly face of yours" [Make sure to make lots of good friends down there!] "Hah?" Thus, the evil god that once desired to control everything in existence was sent like that towards a very small planet in the middle of nowhere so that he could become... ... ...The sidekick of a Gary Stu in real life... °°°°°° The MC will be the Evil God by the way, just in case someone got confused. Just had this idea, just testing how does it look for now... Maybe I will continue it if I like it.I will also add more tags when I'm done planning completely the novel.

Theomancer
My very own first book: I know it won't be perfect, so any constructive criticism would be appreciated. A peculiar reject from modern society ends up as one of the summoned people in another world, but will the premise hold up to the reality of things? only one way to find out! Follow an irascible Darwin's adventures while he pioneers his class in a whole new world, where colors and willpower are two of the most important things, besides respecting the Gods (and avoiding stronger pricks that are just waiting for an excuse to trample someone). -first-person, portal fantasy, litrpg -the cover is my crude attempt with Paint

Magicat
Our main character (a cat) adventures with his friends and encounters many situations.Author's Note:Hello. This is my first story. Though I hesitate to call it such. It is supposed to be relatively relaxed for the most part. Any constructive criticism is welcome. My updates will be slower than a snail and my chapters are relatively short so deal with it please and don't murder me. Romance should come in later. Thank you~

Dick and Dami Week 2022
So... I fell headfirst into DC and got attached to the Batfam. Especially Dick and Damian. When I found out there was a Dick and Dami week I just had to give it a go. And here we are!The event runs from May 8th to 11th so that means there'll be a new chapter each day for this week. Summaries are at the start of the chapter along with the prompts for the day and the one(s) I used. Each part is meant to be read as a standalone piece and won't be connected. Also, this is my first work in the DC fandom so don't be too harsh. Constructive criticism is always welcome!Cover art is not mine. It belongs to Toixx on tumblr.
