Earth team ranking at the top was a common sight to everyone in the Colosseum. It would be shocking if it wasn't the leading one.
Even the ginormous Score of 52 Million Points didn't come as a shocker to the audience as they were used to the overwhelming performance of the Earth team.
So much so that many teams looked up to Atlantis team for scoring nearly one-tenth of Earth team's Score.
Among the five teams that won all four matches in their respective groups, the Falud team struck gold as it leapt straight from the 15th to the 6th position.
With every match a team wins, their Score would soar by half of their own and winning all four matches would bring a team's Score to five times the initial amount.
The Owlite team would have been in a higher position if they weren't in the same group as the Earth team.
The Tilephe team from Group-D and the Ragath team from Group-E also faced a similar situation. Since the allocation was entirely random, they could only blame their luck and wait for the 2nd Segment to rise in ranks.
Meanwhile, something unusual was taking place in the 35th Trial Region.
A huge army of monsters gathered in the vast shadow of the Tournament Island.
Among the 10000-strong army, one-tenth were at Tier-3 Low-Phase while the remaining were Tier-2 monsters.
There were no Tier-3 Mid Phase and High-Phase monsters present in the army lineup since they were all still locked up within the domes.
In contrast to their usual untamed behaviour, they all stood in an orderly fashion and barely made any noise.
Their line of sight stuck on the 6-meter tall abomination of a monster that stood ahead of the army frontline and patiently waited for its commands.
But the monster paid no heed to them and recalled the interaction it had a few days ago with a powerful Being.
Till Day-2 of the Trial Program, it was just another Tier-3 High-Phase monster stuck in a system dome.
During the Day-2 rest period, its consciousness was pulled into an unknown place, where darkness was embroidered with bright flames as far as the eye could see.

At the centre rested a kilometer tall magnificent throne, and on it rested a Being whose mere presence would even send the Overlords of the Universe a run for their money.
While the Plasma Predator was awestruck by the mountain of a Being in its vision, vague apparitions of numerous other monsters spawned all over the place.
The grand scale of nearly a million monsters was a sight to behold. But even if they combined couldn't hold a candle against the Gianormous Being on the throne.
The blood-red eyes, protruding teeth and the pair of fiery horns only made that Being more sinister than it already was.
{A/N: Check out the picture in this paragraph's comment to have a better idea of this character's appearance.}
The powerful being moved its mouth, and a booming hoarse voice filled the vast unknown space.
"I chose each of you for being the strongest in the respective Trial Region you were trapped in. I shall give you a chance to free yourself from the pitiful lives the System had thrown you all into, waiting to be hunted down by the Alpha Chosen."
Although the monsters there didn't know who the Powerful Being was, they didn't disagree with him.
After all, they once were at the top of the food chain in their native planets before being imprisoned by the System and transported to the Zephy Galactic Cluster Trial World as livestock to be the stepping stones for the Alpha Chosen.
No monster questioned his authority or the credibility of his words. Oddly, it was not because the other party was immensely strong but due to the strange impact his every word had over every fibre of their being.
It was as if those weren't mere words but holy commandments they were willing to lay down their life for.
Under the fanatical eyes of the numerous monsters, the Powerful Being used a massive fiery Saber to slit his own palm to extract blood just enough to be distributed into nearly a million drops.
By the time the slit on his palm healed, each blood droplet had streaked into every monster apparition and became one with them.
Before the monsters could realise what happened, the Powerful Being's voice once again reverberated in the vast space, "The opportunity I just granted would allow each of you to awaken the most compatible Fiend subsidiary Bloodline.
Once your consciousness returns to your bodies, the race evolution would take afoot, and by the end of it, each of you would at least have the power to match a Tier-4 Low-Phase Lifeform.
Some of you wouldn't have trouble being on par with those at Tier-4 Mid-Phase, and a lucky few might even awaken a powerful bloodline that wouldn't have trouble reaching the standard of a Tier-4 High-Phase.
Only those who made enough contribution will I reward by personally freeing them from the grasp of the Trial Program.
All you have to do is eliminate as many top-ranking Alpha Chosen as possible in your respective Trial Region during the first Tournament itself and nip them out before they have the chance to grow, especially the Omega Chosen of the Milkyway galaxy."

Sara's (not really) Fabulous System Armageddon, Book I: The World Ended at Rush Hour
Planet Earth, Monday, October 7th, 2019. 18:30 * * On a fateful day, during rush hour in eastern North America, Heavens and Hell crumbled and fell from their higher dimension on Earth. It came from "above" but not the same above we regard in our tridimensional Euclidean reasoning. No, it came from "above" as in from a higher dimension. Bits and pieces of those places fell on Earth from all directions, this time in tridimensional Euclidean space. Satellites, the ISS, and space debris all were wiped clean from orbit. Even those that didn't crash with the falling debris were knocked off orbit by the shockwaves. On the ground, power distribution lines were disrupted and most power facilities were left abandoned by their dead staff. Most of these had emergency shutdown routines that engaged in a few days. Some others had a survivor among their staff that followed protocol and activated their SCRAM switches, stopping the power plant. Long-distance communication disappeared the internet along with it. The world was plunged into technological darkness. Nine hundred and ninety-nine out of every thousand human beings perished immediately in the pulse of magical energy from the torn spatial boundary. Spirits were rent asunder and vanished, their fate neither salvation nor damnation, only oblivion. The criteria used for this culling was latent magic potential. It didn't discriminate against education, gender, age, or ethnic group. But of the around seven million survivors, most would meet their doom moments later. Those on moving vehicles, like the ones driving on highways suddenly had to contend with high-speed uncontrolled cars and trucks driven by corpses. Trapped in their vehicles and helpless, they became part of the long snake of crushed metal. Very few survived. Those in the air or out in the sea were alone and probably unable to control their rides. Airplanes crashed, and ships kept their course or drifted away, depending on their autopilot. Several ended their own lives in utter despair after seeing their loved ones die in front of them. Another large group would die at the hands of other survivors. Violence and aggression became the norm. Only a few sparse pockets of not-so-sane survivors managed to band together and cooperate for the sake of mutual survival. The sole survivor in a five-over-one apartment building in Georgia, a girl became the keystone to humanity's survival. Sara's fabulous System Apocalypse had just started. She has only one remark. It was anything but fabulous. * * Updates every Wednesday and Sunday.
