Worshipper Arc. Chapter 38: Let there be darkness.
The battle has begun, Valoran’s army are engaging the Worshippers just as Valoran has ordered.
Loud screams of war cry from both sides can be heard far.
“For our King!” The soldiers scream out in motivation and loyalty.
“For the Gods!” The Worshippers scream out in motivation and loyalty.
Fire, Water, Lighting, Wind, Gravity, Cryo, Earth, Light and Dark spells are used by both sides in addition to sword fights.
Demonlise and Artemsia take care of Daimo’s Angels.
“Perish.” Demonlise casts Necros (absolute death spell). An immense black flame incinerates numerous angels at once.
More angels approach to attack Demonlise.
Artemsia steps in and cuts them down with her blade.
“Artemsia you seem to be in perfect form despite your long absence from battle.” Demonlise says with humour.
“It’s been a while since I wore my divine armour and used my sword Belistia.” Artemsia responds.
“More angels are approaching.” Artemsia states.
Artemsia casts detroze (destruction magic), angels are erased from existence.
“There is no end to them!” Artemsia states.
“We can’t give up! We must keep fighting!” Demonlise replies.
A magic circle appears on top of Demonlise.
A black long sword emerges from the magic circle.
Demonlise grabs the sword by the hilt.
“Now, it’s over for you. This is my sword Zinox, this sword has the ability to cut down anything.” Demonlise states with fury.
Multiple angels are annihilated at an instant.
“How did you cut them all down? You didn’t take a single swing.” Artemsia questions.
“My sword can cut anything without requiring me to take a swing. I merely need to have hold of it.” Demonlise replies.
Demonlise cuts down more and more angels. Artemsia does the same.
“I hope Valoran is doing alright.” Artemsia says with worry.
“He’ll be fine. We need to focus!” Demonlise replies.
Valoran and Daimos are also battling each other away from the armies to have space.
“Go Nova Helios!” (most powerful fire spell).
Giant spheres of fire the size of buildings are launched at Daimos.
The explosions created are so immense that they leave huge craters and shake the very earth that they are standing on.
Daimos is engulfed in flames.
“Hahaha. You can’t seriously think that these flames could harm me.” Daimos replies in humour.
Valoran does not reply.
Valoran casts Necros (absolute death spell) a sea of black flames of death engulf Daimos.
“Haha. I give you some credit, this is better than your previous spell. But it’s still weak.” Daimos waves his hand slightly and the black flames are blown out.
Daimos stretches out his arm. A golden magic circle appears, next a golden beam of energy is directly hitting Valoran.

Valoran is hit and the beam pushes him back a significant distance. “AHHH!” Valoran yells.
“I’m impressed. An attack like that is something not many have faced head on and survived.” Daimos compliments with a smirk.
“I admit that this attack was the strongest attack I had to face, but just like you said it’s not enough to harm me.” Valoran replies.
“Then let’s get serious.” Daimos states.
Inside the capitol.
Merial, Biatrix, Selina and Atticus are mixed in the crowd of refugees looking out for danger from Worshippers.
“I can’t see any Worshippers.” Selina uses her magic eyes to look for any.
“I cannot either.” Biatrix replies also using her magic eyes.
“You heard what Valoran said, there might be Worshippers within the capitol.” Atticus looks around with his magic eyes as well.
“That’s right, we need to ensure that the citizens are safe.” Merial clarifies.
“Let’s keep our guards up.” Merial explains.
“Wait…what's this?” Atticus looks in the distance.
A group of 20 Worshippers approach the large crowd of civilians.
“Valoran was right.” Atticus says with worry.
The Worshippers are standing in front of the crowd.
“LISTEN UP!” One of the worshipers yells out.
The large crowd of citizens turns to the Worshippers.
“Who are they?”
“Are they here to harm us?”
“They look hostile.”
“What do they want from us?”
The crowd mumbles and asks each other.
“Merial, what should we do?” Atticus asks.
“We should see what they want first. So far they do not seem to harm anyone.” Merial replies.
“I agree with Merial, we shouldn’t jump to blows especially with all the civilians around.” Selina agrees.
“RIGHT NOW OUR FORCES ARE AIDING OUR BELOVED KING DAIMOS. ONCE THE KING OF GODS DESTROYS THE WEAK KING OF MAGIC. ALL OF YOU WILL BOW DOWN TO THE GODS!” The Worshipper announces.
The Crowd is confused and frightened.
“Who are you to insult our King?” A female demi-human questions.
“We are the ones who serve the great gods.” The Worshipper replies.
“Our King will not fail!”
“That’s where you are all wrong. He will fall soon enough.” The Worshipper replies.
“Why are you here?” Another citizen questions.
“You are our hostages, just in case we require the surrender of the King of Magic.” Another Worshipper replies.
“So in other words, you so-called Worshippers do not have complete faith in the King of Gods in defeating the King of Magic.” Another citizen mocks the Worshipper.
“That’s right. If you had complete faith in the God King’s victory over the King of Magic you wouldn’t require “hostages” for you to use as a tool of submission on the King of Magic.” Another citizen adds on.

More citizens are beginning to rebel and mock the Worshippers and even the Gods.
“THAT’S ENOUGH!” The Worshipper in charge yells in frustration casting Izari (advanced fire elemental magic). A cyclone of fire is created as a result frightening the citizens immediately.
“Woaaa!”
“AHHHHHHHH”
“WHAT IS THAT POWER?” The citizens cry out in horror.
“The next person who is foolish enough to shame us and the Gods will perish through a slow and painful death.” The Worshipper warns.
Most of the citizens are not saying a word, holding in their breaths as to not make a sound.
“You showed some great power. But nothing in comparison to my King.” An elderly human male says with confidence and no fear.
“Old man, do you truly wish to die?” The Worshipper questions raising his arm toward his direction casting a magic circle.
“I have lived a long life and I have lived to see the return of the King of Magic. I do not fear death now, you may kill me.” The old man responds.
“If that’s how you truly feel then I will make that wish come true.” The Worshipper replies.
The Worshipper casts izari (advanced fire elemental magic). An immense flame is directly aimed at the old man and countless defenceless citizens.
Parents are covering their children to shield them from the flames.
“AHHH!” The citizens cry out in fear.
The flames are moments away from striking when a Magic barrier appears shielding the citizens.
“A magic barrier?” The Worshipper questions in confusion.
“Who cast it?” Another Worshipper questions.
“Don’t think you can threaten the lives of these people and get away with it.” Merial says, stepping forward in front of the citizens along with Selina, Biatrix and Atticus.
“Striking defenceless civilians…how far can someone fall?” Atticus questions.
“Tchhh!” The Worshippers say with frustration.
“Who are these people?” The Worshipper questions.
“They are just students from the First Magic Academy.” Another Worshipper replies.
“We are close friends with Valoran, and we promised him to ensure the safety of these people no matter what.” Selina explains.
“That’s right. If you want to harm these innocent people then you have to go through us first.” Biatrix adds on.
“You little brats. You are in for a lot of pain.” The Worshipper responds in anger.
“Compared to the intense training we have received from Valoran over the last few months I assure you, your so-called “pain” is nothing.” Merial mocks the Worshipper.
“We shall see.” The Worshipper responds.
All 20 Worshippers are casting magic circles directly aiming for Merial, Selina, Biatrix and Atticus.
“Merial, are you able to maintain the Magic barrier?” Selina asks.
“Yes, so far it poses no issue. Let’s deal with the Worshippers as quickly as possible.” Merial replies.
Spells of lighting, fire, water, earth, forest, light and dark hit the barrier.
“That’s a lot of Magic power but nothing in comparison to Valoran’s attacks.” Merial states.
Selina, Biatrix, Atticus and Merial all move to attack the Worshippers.
“AHHH!” The four of them cry out as they begin to attack.
Back to the battle with Valoran and Daimos
Valoran and Daimos are in the middle of their heated battle.
Valoran casts Damontrox (Most powerful lightning spell) at Daimos.
Crimson Lighting bolts the length of 32 feet (10m) are striking Daimos.
“Ahhh!” Daimos yells in pain.
“How? How did you cause pain upon me?” Daimos mutters in painfully.
“You do wear the strongest armour from the divine realm and I know your skin is just as though, so I decided to use your divine armour as a conductor and amplifier for my most powerful lighting spell in my arsenal to cause you pain. It worked, how is it experiencing pain for the first time?” Valoran explains and questions.
“Tch, I was only toying with you until now. You haven’t seen even a fraction of my power. Be prepared to face me at full power.” Daimos replies in anger.
Daimos grows taller and taller until he’s the size of the Castle Black Burg.
The sky becomes covered in dark grey clouds blocking out the sun.
From the dark grey sky a ginormous golden sword descends the same height as Daimos.
Daimos grabs the sword by the hilt.
“Now you are finished. This is my sword Heaven’s judgement. It vanquishes everything I want destroyed whether it’s: Endless Megaverses, Ideas, Destiny, Hope, Magic, Anti-Magic all are irrelevant now.” Daimos explains.
Daimos takes one swing at Valoran. The sword is so large that it causes air pressures able to destroy concrete buildings miles away.
“GOODBYE KING OF MAGIC!” Daimos yells as he swings the sword at Valoran.
An immense flash of divine golden light with the luminosity of 1000 suns appears.
Both armies stop fighting as soon as they see the light and cover their eyes.
The light begins to fade away.
Valoran is nowhere to be seen; he is gone.
“Haha. Absolute erasure is something no one can come back from. I have won, now this world belongs to me…” Daimos says triumphant.
