Heyyo guys, I’m stuck in the weeds of revision and editing draft 2. After I’m done with that I won’t be doing any more drafts but instead keeping things as they are—too much work. I’d rather have an imperfect manuscript than be stuck on the same thing forever (it has been four years). I’ll be more careful with outlinning and sticking to those outlines so I don’t get in my own way.

While I’m editing, I won’t be posting book 2 content. It’s already hard enough as it is keeping the timeline and events correct after two drafts—I’d rather not go insane. In its place, I’ll be posting lore stuff.

FYI—this doesn’t have anything to do with Skyshard. I only dabble on it on the weekends and weekdays have been me slogging through the 150k manuscript and trimming the fat. It’s still gonna be slow-paced, mind you—just not as much. I want to bring it to the level of writing that I have on the newer chapters.

How long will this last? I’m not certain. Editing is, by itself, a full time job—maybe a month, at most? I expect three weeks to be enough, with me devoting a day to each chapter after work.

I’ll be posting planar topography stuff about the Nine Hells and maybe something else in the meantime. If you want something to specific, comment and I shall see what I can do.
