《Judah Judas Adventures》Chapter 156 - Axel

I, Axel with the other worker have arrived at our destination, we put the wheelbarrows next to the foundation, and some strong workers came and took the materials they need it to continue the build-up of this building. I take a look at the building, and I look at it, not finished yet, but it starts to show some great aspects of this palace.
"Judah," says Axel to me while I look at the constructors putting the argyle to a big crate. "Come and help gather some water."
"Okay, Axel," I say to him and go to the big barrels where the water is stored. "I'm following you."
We take a few looks at the barrel, we notice there isn't much water there. Each of us is taking three buckets, and we are heading to the closest river we are always taking water from, the one a few feet from the Kingdom.
This small errand took us at least five minutes. We filled the barrels with water, and as we finished this, we are heading back to the construction site. As we got here, a worker came to us, and he told us to go and help him break a boulder of crystals. This building, like any part of the Royal Palace, will use some kind of weird crystals in its construction. I don't know why they needed those, nor my friend, Axel, didn't exactly know why they need those crystals, but we kept our mouths shut and carried on the task.
As soon as we got to the nine big boulders with crystals, a worker hand us three pickaxes and told us to hit them, take all the remains from them, and put them into the boxes from there. He pointed at five empty boxes. Then, he left us, and he continued his work, which includes taking the sand and rocks from the crystal boulders.
We stay quiet and smash our pickaxes into those boulders as hard we can. Sweat was running down from our bodies like a river from hard rain. My body begged for a pause from this hard work, but, I had to continue, to get the physical strength, I require it to become better at the fights. The work I have done here is not called job or work, this is my training playground.
In a few moments, we finished the boulders of crystals, and we filled the boxes. We finished the task just in time when the sun was starting to go down. We put the pickaxes close to those boxes, we said our "Goodbyes!" to the workers there, and our watchers (the people who are watching us doing the hard work, they write our actions and send it to the King as a report). Axel and I are leaving the Royal Palace and walking to a street that is leading us to the Main squire. We have to go there because of Axel.
"Is your family alright if I barge at your shop?" I asked Axel.
"Don't worry about it," says Axel to me. "They are fine with it."

We walk a few more steps until we got in the front of a building who is having a big banner with the name "Swords for Rent", a business who is owned by Axel and his family. He asked me to come for him, to help him get back some swords that got stolen. And he wanted to keep this operation secret because of some laws, and some knights might want a ransom. He also told me I am the most capable he knew he can trust. He also said he can give me some money as a reward, which is great.
"Is this the building?" I asked Axel, as he was about to knock on the door to be opened because it has a "Closed" sign on the door.
"Yeah. This is it," he says, and he knocks on the door. "Open up, it's me. Axel."
In a few seconds, the door gets opened, and at the door, it is a big man, bald, with a long beard and wearing leather with iron armor. He looked at me first, then at Axel.
"Who is it?" asks the man to Axel.
"He is my friend from the workplace, Judah." he then looks at me. "Judah. This is my father, owner of the store."
"Um… Nice to meet you, sir." I say while I was a little overwhelmed by this because I did not expect to see Axel's father be a big man, but not as terrified as Fiona. I shook Axel's Father's hand, and he looked at me with a smile.
"Hello, Judah! What would you like to rent?"
"No, father," says Axel to his father. "He is here to help me. At that thing."
"Are you serious?" he asks as he looks concerned at Axel. "You mean this kid will help you at your job. I thought you say it is the most frightened wizard from the Kingdom of Romania."
"Um, sir," I say, and he looked at me. "I may be able to locate the ones who did not send the swords back."
"Really? How come?"
"What's the name of the weapon they've done not retrieve?" I asked as I took out my wand.
The owner of the building looks at the streets, he sees that some peasants and nobles are walking on the street, they do not care about us, they walk past this building, he then let us come into the building. We enter the building, and he closes the door before us and after that, we are heading to the storage room, where Axel's Father keeps all the swords and any type of weapon there.
***
As we entered the shop, Axel is going with his father to the back of the shop, while I remain here, under Axel Father's command. As I stay here, in the middle of the shop, I decide to look at the swords that are displayed on the shelves, tables, and walls. They look truly impressive and sharp enough to slay anything that attacks them.
I look at a table and there I see a sword, who is made out of wood. I grab the sword and I did one and two swings of curiosity. It moves good, but why they would have such a sword on the displays while the entire shop has sharp and hard swords shown.

Before I was able to put the sword back, Axel Father's comes from the back of the building, and he looks at me menacingly. He then took out a book and handed it to me.
"Open it," he says as I grabbed the book.
I opened the book, and there I found countless names and a lot of swords. As I looked at the first pages, I saw some familiar name there, Gregonson, which rented a pair of two swords. These were probably for Henderson, at the time he was his apprentice. Luckily, Gregonson got fired from Henderson and he got a new knight he works for, and he is Han Ga, an immigrant from Tri King Island as I heard the rumors. He is a good warrior, but not pretty good at combat.
Leave it that away, I got to the last page, and there I see three different names, which rented three different swords. The Owner of the shop, pointed on the book, at the part blank which represents if the swords were brought back to the shop. There is nothing, which means these people have either forgotten about them, either sold them to the black market to get some pocket exchange, or broke it.
"They are the thieves I am looking for."
"They had their house address?" I asks the Owner after I searched the book which register the renting of these weapons.
"No." says the owner. "They say they have come here to get some equipment to a dungeon expedition."
"What's that dungeon you are speaking about?"
"Don't know. They've only said they need to take some swords to a dungeon exploration, they rented them, and left the place."
"They weren't from, here right?"
"They do not seem people of Kingdom of Romania? Maybe adventurers from the Bulgaria Kingdom, Serb, or United Turkish Empire. They weren't fluently in our language."
"I understand. If that's all, then it will probably be enough." I leave the building, and as I got outside, I took out the wand from my belt, aimed at the sky, and say the "Vulture" spell out loud.
In a few seconds, a big bird came out from the wand. It flies on the sky, does some circles there, and then he lands on my right shoulder.
"Why have you summoned me, my master?"
"I have a task for you," I say to my dear bird from my wand.
"Say it, master."
"Can you find three people for me? they have been "stealing" from this shop. They have to take three swords."
"I can do it if you have their names."
"I have it." I let the bird fly in the sky, and I opened the book, at the last page, I looked at the bird and I saw the names of these people as he moves his wings at a close distance from me. "Kakan Rakan, Tim Timim, and Julius Cesario."
"Right on, master." says the bird and he flies high into the sky, then he departs from the area.
I am standing on the street, looking at the sky for a moment, and then, I see axel his father leaves the shop their family owns. I looked at them and explain to them that I have sent my dear bird on a mission, to search for the "thieves". They seemed alright with it. The owner of the shop asked me after a few seconds he looked on the sky:
"How much it will take?"
"I don't exactly know," I say to the, man. "The bird will come at unexpected times most of the time, but it will come with a response."
"I see."
After a while, the bird came back, he lands on my right raised hand, and he tells me in a human language, like he always does since it has evolved a while ago.
"I have identified the places of the thieves. They are living in a house, not very far from the Kingdom walls. The house they are staying in has a wheat roof, walls with dirt, and next to their house, it is a horse, tied to a lamppost."
"Were they armed?" I ask the bird.
"No. There was in a drunk state, master."
"Thank you. You can go now."
The bird flies into my wand, and when it entered my wand, an white small smoke was formed, which indicates the animal has correctly entered the wand and it is resting for the net task he will be sent. I looked at the Owner and Axel, who were still there, and they have heard the bird talking.
"Have you heard, right?"
"Yes. I will request a pair of knights to be sent at that house," he says and he goes to the carriage he owns at the back of the building. "Come with me, son! and thank your friend for the task!"
"Thank you, Judah!" says Axel, and he hands me a small bag of coins. "Take this. Twelve gold coins, for the things you have done for my father's business."
"Thank you, Axel," I say to him, and I handed the bag back to him, which he took, and he was looking confused at me. "I am doing this for helping people, not to take their money. See you tomorrow at work! good night, Axel!"
"Good night, Judah! And thank you, again!" he said to me as we depart far away from each other.
I am walking to the street which is leading to my home. While Axel goes back to his house, managing the shop, his father, who is running with the carriage to the Palace, is gone to request some good knights to help him catch thieves.
