Hello Everyone!
First of all, thank you so so much for your patience with me. Quest Academy: Silvers, the first book in an entirely new series is officially up for pre-order over on Amazon. I cannot describe how incredible it is to see a story I wrote being professionally edited and cased in such a gorgeous cover. It's been a hell of a learning experience with writing the story and I'm already halfway through Quest Academy: Scavengers, which is book 2 of the series. I've signed on with a good friend of mine, Jez Cajiao to release the stories with his new publishing house, the Legion Publishers.
When I was writing Wildcards, I felt very excited to write certain parts of the story more than others. I know there were so many people that wanted me to write the in-game moments, but the most fun for me was writing about the real-world parts of the story. There were some reviews that pointed out how I would have a much better story if I only focused on one world instead of two. I personally love Wildcards and I'm excited to return to it in the future, but I wanted to take all the learnings from my time on Royal Road and write a fun story without any expectations, deadlines or worries.
Quest Academy was an absolute joy to write, and it's set in a futuristic version of our world that has been at war with demons for decades. Portals, Towers and Dungeons have opened up everywhere, and while there will be combat in the future, it's a slow-burn story with a big focus on side-characters, crafting and world building. Salvatore Argento is the main character, and we follow him as he enrols into Quest Academy as a First Year. I've added the full synopsis below, but if you enjoyed the way I wrote Wildcards, this is so much better.

I've a deal for a trilogy, and I'm hoping to have it completed this year. Then I'll be in a position to return to Wildcards fully and get things back on track. I wanted to apologise again to everyone for leaving you waiting so long on this project. It was never my intention to burnout from writing a story I loved. I also want to thank you all for sticking with me on my journey. I looked at the pre-order earlier and I couldn't believe that it was there. It's an actual dream come true and I wouldn't have gotten here without you. Speaking of Wildcards, I'm thinking that with the trilogy for Quest Academy, it'll be 2024 before I can start properly editing Book 1 and looking at releasing it properly. I've taken enough time away from the story that I'm excited to get back into it. Anyways, that's enough rambling from me, hope you like the artwork and blurb below.
I'll likely be doing some more promotion of Quest Academy in the weeks leading up to the release, but I'll also be posting some Wildcards chapters from the Patreon. Sorry again for how long it's been since you've had another chapter.
If you'd like to support me, a pre-order would mean the world to me. If that's not something you can do, don't worry at all! Even little things like recommending it to people who you think might enjoy it. That would be incredible. :)
Thank you so much.
Brian

Synopsis:
A world infested by demons. An Academy designed to train Heroes to save humanity from annihilation. A new student’s power could make all the difference.
Humans have been pushed to the brink of extinction by an ever-evolving demonic threat. Portals are opening faster than ever, Towers bursting into the skies and Dungeons being mined below the last safe havens of society. The demons are winning.

Quest Academy stands defiantly against them, as a place to train the next generation of Heroes. The Guild Association is holding the line, but are in dire need of new blood and the powerful abilities they could bring to the battlefront. To be the saviors that humanity needs, they need to surpass the limits of those that came before them.
In a war with everything on the line, every power matters. With an adaptive enemy, comes the need for a constant shift in tactics. A new age of strategy is emerging, with even the unlikeliest of Heroes making an impact.
Salvatore Argento has never seen a demon. He has never aspired to become a Hero. Yet his power might be the one to tip the odds in humanity’s favor.

How to have fun in an apocalypse (Rewrite)
After spending an unsavory amount of time in hell, our protagonist finally manages to escape the place that had kept him captive for so long... again. Unfortunately, even after plotting and planning for years, he ends up in a place not much different from the burning and agonizing Tartarus he once had to call home. Guts, blood, and carnage start to reign over Earth as soon as he set foot in it, much to his dismay. What use is it to cry over spilled milk, though? Tired of the monotony of endless torture, he steps into the world intending to have as much fun as possible. While others might try to raid the Orc Lord with as many people as possible, why not challenge him to an arm-wrestling tournament? The power of friendship will surely be on his side. Why hide from the big, bad wolf in one of your houses if wearing camo in plain sight should have the same effect? Now, making friends and going on adventures would be perfectly fine, if it wasn't for the fact that he hides a few more secrets than one might think at first. This is a complete rewrite! Due to being unsatisfied with the previous version, I have decided to work the story up, beginning from the older chapters! Version 2.0 includes: - enhanced writing and editorial skills - additional information and aspects to characters - minor deviation from storyline and improvements

The Scavenger of the Astral Plane
Bane Asteroth, a direct descendant of the wealthy and powerful Asteroth Family in the Agnus Empire renown for both their strong physiques and exceptional talent, was born blind and paraplegic. As such, he was labeled as a defect and discarded to a remote village in the outer area of the Grand Duchy along with a single maid as an act of mercy. However, he had an earth-shattering secret that no one knew about……..? Let's follow the adventure of Bane as he roams onto the road that leads everywhere, the space between everything, and the place you are when you aren't anywhere else, a journey within the Astral plane. .............. This is a progression fantasy where the main concept is about the growing protagonist focusing on his growth and finding new meaning in his new life without looking for trouble everywhere. He tends to stay out of trouble in his own little place although not always successful as he seems to attract trouble like a magnet. Note: 1-This is my first ever novel or published novel, and English is not my main language. I'm open to corrections and suggestions! The cover isn't mine and all the credits goes to the owner for this amazing image.

My Cruel Mates
Claire lives in a world where dragons, werewolves, vampires and other supernatural beings treat humans as meat and toys. All she wants to do is live a simple life away from anything that goes bump in the night. She does well, until the Dragon King sniffs her out, along with his werewolf mate. How will Claire adjust to the terrifying new turn her life has taken?*Trigger Warning*This story is much darker than my others. There are themes of abuse and suicidal ideation. Please consider this before reading.________________________________________"She smells good, doesn't she Bennett?" The deep timber of the man's voice rings out through the still night and my body shivers in fear and disgust. Suddenly another man is at my side, twining his fingers through my hair. I can't see either of them clearly in the dark. The man, Bennett apparently, leans down close to me and takes in a large lungful of my scent as well. My knees begin to shake in terror and a low growl rumbles from his chest."She does smell good. She's pretty too." He says, pecking a kiss to my cheek. My face crunches in despair as I try to pull from their hold. "Let me go." I beg and the first man chuckles. "Awe. The little human is nervous." He says, amusement evident in his voice. A sob breaks from my lips as I try to pull my arm from his grasp."You're hurting me." I say, tugging my arm again."Let her go, Rowan." Bennett says, making the larger man grunt."Don't get attached to her. You know what happened to the last one."Cover made by @ViaAlyssaNicole

A crumbling autumn leaf
DROPED That systems comes out of nowhere, he's fine with that, it will be hard, but he can bring everyone... What do you mean we don't get to go to the tutorial? Well fuck. How did everyone else die anyway? They just needed to stay silent and not touch webs! Magic isn't even that hard, they could have survived this if they had just listened! Now his family is gone and Aki has nothing but time and the system notifications to figure out what actually happened to the rest of the world, perhaps even finding another reason to live after he finishes destroying the dungeon he spawned at from inside out. ***** This novel bases heavily on novels like Defiance of the fall, The new world and The Legend of Randidly Ghosthound. I would like to think that's it though, so please point out any sort of copying. As someone has pointed out though, i warn now that the main character is bisexual, so please, don't waste your time if that bothers you.
