《Apotheosis - The Grand Dungeon of Kess》Author's Update: Current Status

Well, this is different!
I've been quiet for a while, so I wanted to give an update on what was happening with this novel.
It is not abandoned, first off.
Basically, I'm in a serious flow and don't want to go back and edit. I'm nearly finished and want to finish the last two chapters before I go back and edit for consistency. The problem with that is the updates have slowed to a crawl as I keep everything straight.
So, here's the scoop.
Book three will be released in bi daily batches once I'm happy with the ending. So, you'll get about five days of two chapters a piece give or take, maybe longer if Myles keeps dragging things out. I'm not promising block buster stuff. Don't believe me? Well, judge for yourself. If you want, that is. These parts come from about six or seven chapters beyond where we currently are... not that they spoil much...
Where did his story begin?
Myles took a breath and another sip to consider that. Then whether through a clarity brought on by the strong booze or a spark of some other divine intervention, he knew where the story should begin.
“My father was a [Baker], his father before him was, eventually, a [Baker], and for everything my father had invested in me, I was probably destined to be an amazing [Baker], too…”
"But you weren't."
A smile bloomed, carried by Myles's lips as he put the drink down. "No. No, I wasn't."
Too vague? Good.
What about this?
And keep in mind, not much editing yet...
“The hard way is sometimes the best way. When we get hurt, we remember things better.”
With that, my job is done.
Hopefully, see you in two more weeks with a completed novel and a preview for the next book. I haven't settled on a good title yet, but I'm thinking Outcast would be fitting. Overseer? Overrun? Rainbow Unicorns?
Totally going with Rainbow Unicorns.

Jumpspark
Each human contains a spark of divinity. Only a few learn to access it, but for those few a reward awaits them in the afterlife. Meet Karlus, a 26-year old construction manager who managed to access his spark. Join him on a journey of discovery as he explores a new world and new powers and meets new friends and ancient heroes to help him along on his journey. A western-style Xianxia with a few other tropes. *Note: I started this on a whim and updates will be sporadic and slow. I'm mainly posting here to allow my friends easier access for proofreading, but if anybody else wants to read and comment then I'd welcome your criticism as well. No romance. Language. Drug Use (kinda). Gore.

Dishonor
In the center of a nuclear wasteland lay the last vestiges of humanity, the City, as its numerous inhabitants called it. To leave its protective wall was certain death. Humanity was not meant to fit within the confines of a walled city. But, with a strict caste system and the threat of being sent to the lowest level of the caste system for even the smallest crime, the City has survived. Liv was born to the highest caste, Most Honored. After her father's treason and subsequent execution, her family was cast into the prison that the lowest caste, the Dishonored, lived in. Tortured and forced to work as a slave for every bite to eat, Liv desired revenge against the King that made her life a living hell and the City that held her captive. With a forced smile and a polite bow, Liv would destroy the overpopulated last bastion of humanity. Releases weekly on Tuesdays at 12:45 Eastern US Time.
