《The Legacy of Gilgamesh》Chapter 54 War Council 2

"Indeed, Dracule's strength is formidable, but so is our determination to fight for justice and freedom," declared the saint, her voice ringing with conviction and steely resolve. "The fear that grips our allies must be replaced by courage, for without it, we have already lost the war."
The emperor of Achaemenid, interjected with a wise insight, "We must acknowledge that we cannot defeat Dracule alone, but we must not be discouraged by this fact. Let us not forget that King Arthur, with all his power and might, died in the end. We may have wounded Dracule in the past, but we must wound him again and again until he falls."
The lord of the city of Rapo, Morgan nodded thoughtfully and said, "It is clear that we need an ally from within Dracule's kingdom. Someone who knows his weaknesses, his fears, his vulnerabilities. Only then can we hope to bring down the tyrant."
The saint nodded in agreement and spoke again, "I have heard of the King of the Kingdom of Byron. He is a man of faith and a military leader, a rare combination. He may hold the key to our victory. Let us seek him out and persuade him to join our cause."
The Kingdom of Byron, nestled between the Holy Empire and the Assyrian Empire, was a land of stunning beauty and immense power. Its people were renowned for their fierce loyalty to their king and their cunning diplomacy. The Byron Kingdom had always been a thorn in the side of the two empires, using the constant friction between them to maintain its independence. It was said that the kingdom had never lost a war, and that its armies were as disciplined as they were fearless. But with the rise of Dracule and the power of kings, the Byron Kingdom found itself in a precarious position.

Under Dracule's rule, the Byron Kingdom was forced to align itself with the Assyrian Empire. It was a bitter pill to swallow for the proud people of Byron, who had always prided themselves on their independence. But with Dracule's army looming large, they had little choice. And so, they pledged their loyalty to the Assyrian Empire, hoping that it would provide them with some measure of protection.
The conversation in the room was tense, as the leaders discussed their plan to defeat Dracule. Prince Charles, the haughty future Emperor, had initially scoffed at the idea of defeating Dracule. But Lord Morgan's revelation that the Kingdom of Byron may hold the key to their victory changed his tune. The prospect of an evacuation was a bitter pill to swallow for all of them, for it meant that they had failed in their duty to protect their people.
Lord Morgan spoke with conviction, "The stronger Dracule is, the more his subjects long for his power. We must remember that we are not exempt from this. But if we unite and stand together, we may have a chance to defeat him."
As they spoke, the memory of Dracule's unparalleled might in the last battle lingered in their minds. They all knew that defeating him would not be easy, but the lure of power and status made it an attractive prospect. The room was filled with a sense of dread, not of fear, but of the realization that they were all susceptible to the lure of power, and that their own ambitions could be their undoing.
The atmosphere in the room was tense, as the princes, kings, and lords gathered to discuss their plan to defeat Dracule. The stakes were high, and the tension was palpable as each leader put forth their views. It was a war of words, and everyone had an opinion on how to proceed.

As the debate raged on, the king of a neighboring kingdom spoke up. "I have a good relationship with King Dylan of the Barber Empire. With Gaias' blessing, I can bring him to our side," he said, his voice filled with conviction. The other leaders looked at him skeptically, but he was not deterred. He went on to make a case for why the Barber Empire could be a valuable ally in their fight against Dracule.
But Lord Morgan, the lord of the city of Rapo, was not convinced. He listened patiently as more leaders spoke, but he knew that their plans would not work. When he finally spoke up, his words were like a lightning bolt that cut through the debate.
"None of these people you say can help. They will all die, and we will lose this last chance," he said, his voice ringing with authority. The other leaders fell silent, stunned by his words. But they could see the truth in what he was saying. Dracule was too powerful, and they needed a plan that was foolproof.
The silence in the room was deafening as the leaders looked at each other, unsure of what to say. Finally, the saint spoke up. "Lord Morgan, who do you have in mind?" she asked, her voice filled with curiosity.
Morgan smiled. He had been waiting for this moment. "There is someone who can help us. Someone who knows Dracule's weaknesses and can help us exploit them," he said, his voice low and intense. The other leaders leaned forward, eager to hear more.
"Who is it?" they asked, their eyes shining with hope.
Morgan leaned forward and whispered, "His name is… "
