《Blue Road》Episode 27 (Part 1)

Kelly used her computer to hack into the mainframe and get a full view of the city. She scanned and searched the buildings until she came across an unknown shack in the city's far reaches. She examined the routes to find the quickest way there. Once Kelly found one, she also spotted moving dots towards the hospital. They might be from the evil android and Usukui Puru clones. The rest of the team that weren’t injured headed out with their weapons in tow.
The groups went outside; sure enough, legions of enemies marched over to where they stood. Everyone there wasted no time charging after them. Ken's gang used weapons like spiked bats and switchblades to fight the creatures, but their numbers kept increasing. Still, they kept their distance and tried to lure them away from the hospital. Lily used her fans to toss around like a boomerang and slice like a pinwheel with spikes using close-quarter combat and a long-ranged weapon at the same time. Up from her room, Mindy peeked her sniper rifle at the window, shooting down any of the monsters in her crossfire. When their side was done, Ken and Lily assisted the police officers and authorities wearing suits, who also fought back with their arsenal.
Richard and Claudia snuck away with the secret weapon in hand. To minimize damage, everyone else led the monsters away from the duo and the hospital building.
One of the blobs showed up in front of Richard, raising their arms and preparing for an attack. Claudia swung at it with her suitcase, dazing it momentarily, but grew unaffected by the attack. As she swayed at it again from the lower region, Richard noticed a faint red glow inside the blue blob. He pulled out his newly acquired gun and aimed it toward the upper area. He fired a shot, as the blue chunk splattered all over the pavement, a gray termite that was inside it short-circuited shortly after.

“Whoa...” Claudia muttered, her face turning pale. She covered her mouth as her stomach churned. Claudia gulped and sighed.
“Are you going to be alright?” Richard asked, placing a hand on her shoulder.
“Yeah, I think I will.”
“Oh, ok.” Oh, wait a minute! Richard turned and shouted to get everyone else’s attention. “Hey, you guys, look for the red glow! That’s their weak spot! The termites are controlling the subjects; aim for those!”
“Ok, thanks for the heads up!” The rest of the group yelled back.
While dodging the monster’s attack, they searched for the weak spot and finished it off with their weapons. It seemed like, so far, everything went as planned. Richard and Claudia had no time to waste as they hurried to the warehouse.
.-.-.-.
After following Kelly’s directions from the walkie-talkie, the duo arrived at the warehouse and hid behind the walls. Richard placed his hand on one as they reached the back doors and leaned in to listen. He could hear muffled noises from the other side of the door. Knowing him, Reginald took the initiative and brought the fight to her to avenge their lost loved ones. Richard hated to admit it, but he wouldn’t put it past him.
“It sounds rough over there,” Claudia murmured. “Will you be able to handle this?”
“I’m not sure. But I got to save my brother, regardless.”
“Hold on, if you’re going in there, let me hold on to that,” Claudia offered. “That way, she won’t spot it while you encounter her.”
“Good idea.” Richard took out the cube and gave it to her. “So, does this open from the outside and...?”
“Yes, the item’s inside. We prepared it in advance. Although, you should hurry before things turn for the worse.”
“Alright, good luck.”
“You too.”
Richard entered the place; first, Claudia waited for a better opening to go inside.
