I will also need a proper place to use if I do decide to start having sex with her and Brightfire. That is not the main reason, but it is something I can't get out of my mind. The privacy screens are definitely for my sake, watching Lin change would drive me crazy.

I want to make a decision based on careful thought, not raging hormones. Considering I am currently celibate and how beautiful Lin is, that is a tall order. Even as I am working, her scent is distracting and I find myself pausing without meaning to.

While I am at it I also create a seating area with a couple of couches, then I go looking for the crafters. I need them to make a mattress for the bed and comfy cushions for the couches. Luckily, I picked up silk and other fabrics while I was wandering around.

Mulan thoroughly enjoys riding around the ship on my head and seeing new sights. She is chirping happily as I walk through the ship causing a lot of the elves to give me weird looks. I see Neesha and Keeble, but as soon as they see me they head in a different direction.

That doesn't surprise me too much, but it does when Silverleaf does the same. It is only then that I remember that she is mad at me, but I don't have time for her right now. If she wants to avoid me and sulk about it, there isn't much I can do anyway.

As I am looking for the crafters I am also mentally scanning the ship looking for problems. Happily, I don't find any areas that didn't repair themselves properly. It looks like I was right about the ship being able to take a beating, it makes me somewhat proud.

All in all, it turns out that I did an excellent job with the ship considering my lack of knowledge. Of course, there are several improvements I would make if I were to build another ship. The problem is that it would be extremely hard to modify the ship while it is in the water.

If I manage to turn this into an airship it will be easy to fix them then, but also less necessary. Although, making it into an airship is bound to make all sorts of other problems. The main problem I foresee is if the frame can handle the weight out of the water.

All of that is going to have to wait, I still have a few things to figure out before then. That reminds me, I need to ask Lin about the spells she knows that might be of use to me. The weather control spell she used has already given me a few ideas.

When I find a group of crafters and tell them what I want they immediately get to work. They look happy to have something to do and a couple immediately run off. They are heading to my cabin to take measurements for what they need to make.

I have confidence that they will do a good job, so I leave them to it and walk away. Just to be sure, I wander around the rest of the ship checking for damage. While I am at it I give Mulan the full tour, but I can't tell if she understands me.

I was planning to head up to the bridge to check on Stillwater, but Mulan doesn't like the cold wind. For her sake I head back to the cabin, where I find Lin has changed into a different dress. The new dress is red, but like the old one it hugs all her curves in the right way.

The main difference is that the new dress stops well above her knees. I can't help but to keep glancing at her legs as I take Mulan and put her in the fire. Then I summon some magical fire and feed Mulan and the drake egg.

Lin says "You keep glancing at me, is something wrong?"

"No, I was just admiring your dress, and your legs."

Lin says "Thank you. Did you make all these changes for me?"

"Most of them. If you prefer I could arrange for you to have your own cabin?"

Lin says "No, absolutely not! You are not getting rid of me that easily!"

"I wasn't trying to get rid of you. I have already admitted that I like you. The offer was only in regards to your comfort. Living in the same room before we are lovers could be a little awkward."

Lin says "No, not at all. I feel perfectly comfortable here with you."

"Well, as long as you are sure."

Lin says "Trust me. I know exactly what I am doing."

"Alright. Were you able to finish removing the impurities?"

Lin says "Yes, I was. What's next?"

In answer to Lin's question I start talking to her about the various types of mana. First I find out what she knows, then I correct her knowledge based on my experience. Then I teach her how to convert other mana types back into pure mana.

"Because pure mana is more concentrated, as you convert mana your mana pool will empty a bit. Once you have converted all the mana in your mana pool you will have to refill it. The mana you bring in will be impure, so you will have to repeat the previous steps."

Lin says "Doesn't that mean that this task will be never ending?"

"No, because as you get more practice, you will be able to purify the mana as you bring it in. Once your mana pool is full of pure mana you will be done and we can move on to the next part."

Lin says "What is the next part?"

"Teaching you how to manipulate pure mana to do what you want it to without a spell form as the base."

Lin says "That is the part you aren't sure a human can do, right?"

"Theoretically you should be able to. However, pure mana is powerful, it might hurt you when you try to use it. A human body is really frail when compared to mine."

Lin says "If it doesn't kill me, then I should be able to adapt to it, right?"

"Maybe, but it won't be easy. My best guess is that the pure mana will burn your mana channels. It will feel like you are being burned from the inside out. It will basically be torture."

Lin says "That sounds unpleasant. Is there any way to improve my mana channels so it isn't so bad?"

"Maybe. Honestly, I don't know, I've never tried altering someone else's mana channels. While you work on converting your mana I will think about it. It may require some experimentation though."

Lin says "For some reason the idea of you experimenting on my body is exciting!"

"Ahem! Give me your hand, I need to see if it is even possible."

Lin says "I love that look on your face. Here."

Lin holds out her hand with a smile on her face and her smile makes me nervous. I gently touch her hand with my paw and send my mana sense into her body. Once I concentrate on the inside of her body my nervousness fades away.

"I'm going to try a few things. Don't resist, but tell me if it hurts."

Lin says "Okay."
