《Azure Chronicles》Chapter 129.5

The towering heathian crustation loomed before Zalroth and co, with each slam of its legs and claws kicking up sand at even the slightest movement. Maru readied his Hallucinogenic Flora vine whips, and Mimi pulled back her large water mana scythe. Zalroth lowered his right hand before he crossed his arms and sighed.
"I here I planned to use the plasma dragon...," Zalroth uttered.
"But that would be overkill," Chronia remarked as she held her old-fashioned handheld gaming console over her head and played a game about funny chibi robot villagers. Zalroth rolled his eyes before he glanced up at the heathian crab as golden magic sand fluttered around it.
"Alright, you lot you can head on back to the air carrier," Zalroth ordered. Zallino nodded firmly while Mimi slumped her head deflatedly.
"Man... but I wanted to fight it...," Mimi whined as Zallino (in his humanoid form and with Kai on his back) picked her and Maru up by the back of their clothes. Zallino bowed his head to Zalroth before he took off for the flying airship carrier while Kai cheered for ice cream. Zalroth placed his left hand on his neck and pushed down against it until it clicked.
"Alright... time to indulge in my heroic duties," Zalroth uttered as a loud crystalline crack echoed from above. Zalroth glanced up at the heathian crab surrounded and constrained by massive golden chains with golden pale magic sand flaking off the chains.
Zalroth watched the angorthite on the heathian's back as the golden chains tightened against them and cracked the angorthite under their pressure. Zalroth scoffed and flicked his right hand dispelling the pale yellow palm crest, causing the golden chains to crumble away. The heathian crab rose to action, screeching in utter rage and raising a claw straight into the air.

"Should I go for the tulips or the roses?" Chronia asked as she held her handheld console in front of Zalroth's face.
"Is it a Tuesday on an odd day or a Thursday on an even day in the game?" Zalroth asked as a shadow rapidly grew around them.
"Neither," Chronia remarked as a wooshing sound roared from above. Chronia glanced upwards to see the crab heathian's claw descending towards her and Zalroth.
"Rude," Chronia uttered as she raised a finger to the descending claw. The instant the claw made contact with the tip of Chronia's finger, the claw blasted back in the inverse direction, and the sudden change in the claw's force knocked the heathian off balance.
"Then I think the second best option would be the green-type carrots," Zalroth said as scrolled through the in-game playable character's inventory. Chronia nodded before slumping back onto Zalroth's kitsune tails. Zalroth smirked as he readied himself to fight the large heathian crab.
"Let's see if you can resist receiving my azure ability," Zalroth remarked snarkily while Chronia groaned about not having any green carrots.

Fair warning I don't understand the rating system but I'll say M-rated just in case. This is my first story, I accept criticism but I would like the critic to explain the reasoning behind it. Also I'm still figuring how this site works and I have no schedule so updates may be sporadic, at least once a week. Not a native speaker but in the practices, too lazy to actually get the diploma, I got an average of 9.7 out of 10 at the Cambridge C1 level, the CAE, second highest european level for foreign languages, so it should be no problem.
