The old Myria would have been easy to convince, but she has become stronger. Not only in regards to her power, but her mental strength has increased a lot. She is still a little on the childish side at times, but time should cure that.

She has already come a long way from the slave that I rescued and she is still growing. If not, I wouldn't even be willing to consider her as a potential partner. If the three of them can get along, then I will leave it to them to figure everything out.

If they can't get along, then I will have to try and get involved as a peacekeeper. However, I really don't want to have to do that, it would be better if they sorted it out. It has already been almost two hours since we entered the soulscape.

Just as I am thinking about checking on them the three of them come out of the building. They are all smiling and I don't see any blood or bruises, which is a good sign. Of course, it also means I am now outnumbered three to one.

Lin says "Alright, we have an agreement. For your part, you will sleep with Brightfire after sleeping with me. When we reach the peninsula you will sleep with Myria. The three of us will deal with any other women who take an interest in you."

"If that's what you want, I can agree to it. But what do you mean by ‘deal with’?"

Brightfire says "We will either chase them off, or if we deem them worthy they can join us."

"Do I get a say in that?"

Lin says "Of course! We aren't going to let someone you don't like join us."

"That's fine then. Just as long as the 'chasing away' doesn't become too violent. As long as you can agree to that, then I agree to all of it."

Lin says "I agree."

Brightfire says "I also agree."

Myria says "Well, I guess so."

"Myria!"

Myria says "Alright, fine, I agree."

"Good, then it's all agreed. Now, I really need to get back to work."

Myria says "Alright, but invite me whenever you open a soulscape."

"I have been, you are the one who was avoiding me."

Myria grumbles a bit at that, but she still leaves the soulscape without doing anything. Brightfire and Lin also leave and I end the soulscape with a feeling of relief. That could have gone much, much worse, but I am glad that everything is settled.

As soon as I end the soulscape I go straight back to working on the gems. Lin checks on the kids and then comes and sits down next to me to keep me company. Before long the door opens and Brightfire walks in, she then comes over and sits on my other side.

Neither of them says anything, they just sit beside me and watch me work. The silence is comfortable, and their company feels nice, but most of my focus is on my work. I don't want to ruin any of the gems because I was not paying attention.

The girls don't seem to mind me not paying attention to them even as an hour passes. Lin's patience isn't too surprising, but Brightfire's is, she is a very impatient person normally. Maybe she just enjoys watching me work, or maybe she is just happy.

Whichever it is, it is a pleasant change from how she normally acts around me. This continues for the next hour and I manage to complete a lot of gems. By now, the both of them are starting to look tired and are close to nodding off.

"The two of you should head to bed."

Brightfire says "Are you not sleeping?"

"No, I need to finish these gems."

Lin says "Are you going to go without sleep again?"

"Probably. If I manage to finish them I might take a nap."

Brightfire says "Alright, goodnight." Then she kisses me on the cheek and leaves.

Lin says "Are you not going to join me?"

"Not tonight. The decision has been made, but the ship upgrade needs to be done as soon as possible."

Lin says "Alright. I guess some time to get used to the idea would be good."

Lin then grabs my face and kisses me on the lips before heading to bed. It feels quite nice and almost makes me change my mind about joining her. However, I am not in a rush, I have plenty of time and I really do need to finish these gems.

Which I do manage to do, but by then it is almost dawn and the babies will wake up soon. Just as I am thinking about trying to take a nap I feel the motion of the ship change. A quick look outside shows we have reached the bay and the ship is now at anchor.

That means the elves should start moving to the beach soon so that I can start working. Since that is the case I move to the back of the cabin by the babies' fire and set up my forge. I am not sure if the enchantments will handle that much smoke so I open the windows.

Then I feed fire mana into the forge to activate it, just like Ruby used to. Then I start processing the metals that I have gathered so that I can use them on the ship. I can shape them with mana, but it is much harder to refine them just with mana.

With the windows open I can hear the increasing noise of activity on the ship. Very soon, the noise wakes up Mulan and Mushu who immediately come over to see what I am going. Then even climb into the forge to see what is going on, which I allow since it won't hurt them.

It means that I have to spend more mana since they are eating the flames, but that is fine. I would have used just as much mana feeding them anyway and this makes them happy. They are also eating some of the slag left over from refining the metals which I didn't expect.

I hadn't even thought of offering them metals to eat, but it is something I should have done. In a lot of the stories about mythical creatures, they eat minerals to strengthen their bodies. When I offer them some of the iron ore I got out of the volcano both of them eat some.

They only eat a few small pieces, but they seem happy with that much. After they are done eating they both go over to the open windows to look outside. Or it would be more accurate to say they are smelling all the new smells.

It is only when I see how excited they are that I remember I was supposed to take them around the ship. It doesn't matter right now since they will get to explore the beach, but I need to do it later. Or maybe later, while I am working on the ship, Lin can take them to run around.

Lin says "Good morning. Did you sleep at all?"

"No. I barely finished the gems before we arrived."
