《Azure Chronicles》Chapter 132: Skipping The Boss Battle By Using Brittle Means

Yokuza carried Lola in his arms and Sapphire on his back with his snow wings wrapped around her; he jumped over a gap with Lola smugly grinning at being carried. Yokuza plopped Lola on the ground, and the trio looked around at the small Baseball field-sized ring-shaped suspended bronze brick walkway.
"Now this looks like where a boss battle would happen," Lola remarked as the others floated to the ring walkway. Sapphire rolled her eyes at Lola's comment and glared upwards before she widened her eyes. Sapphire pulled on one of Yokuza's wings, making Yokuza flinch before he turned his head and glared at her.
Sapphire pointed upwards, and Yokuza groaned before he glanced upwards. Yokuza choked on his breath with Artic Mist mist, and Soul flame embers (super pale turquoise flames with golden embers) seeped out from his mouth. Yokuza puffed up his chest and, from his mouth, unleashed a geyser of Artic Mist mist straight up into the air.
The Artic Mist mist rocketed into the air and slammed into the giant bronze spear; the Artic Mist mist coiled around the spear and turned it into opaque white ice. Yokuza raised a hand, balled up his raised hand and forced the giant ice spear to explode. Lola watched the tiny fragments of the ice spear twinkle and refract in her eyes.
"What was that?" Lola asked bewilderedly as she peered into the cloudy remnants of the icy mist. Yozuka lowered his head and paused before abruptly lunging at Lola; Yokuza dashed past Lola, plunging his fist into one of her tails as he did before pulling Blue Empress out from it.
Lola frantically turned around to see a Yokuza using Blue Empress to block a bronze blur before it kicked off Blue Empress and knocked Yokuza a few inches backwards. Yokuza staggered around before dropping Blue Empress and clasping his right arm.
"Brother!" Sapphire yelled. Sapphire jumped off Yokuza's back as she, Kara, Destiny and Lola gathered around Yokuza. Yokuza gritted his teeth, pressed his fingers against his arm and shoved his shoulder up with a snow-crunching-esque snap. Yokuza let out a pained whistle as he fell to his knee, causing Lola and Sapphire to shiver from a wave of cringe.

"I'm alright, you lot...," Yokuza uttered in a huff as he raised his right hand before it bent in an unnatural direction, "Mostly.". Sapphire and Destiny covered their mouths to stop themselves from screaming while Lola frantically rummaged through her kitsune tails until she pulled out her Dream Weaver staff.
"Don't worry, I can fix it," Lola announced as she aimed the top of Dream Weaver at Yokuza's broken wrist. The group waited in silence as nothing appeared to happen. Lola raised Dream Weaver to her face before scratching it against her forehead.
"It worked when I used Papa's staff," Lola uttered as she puffed up her cheeks. Yokuza smirked as he rose to his feet and picked up Blue Empress with his left hand.
"It's the thought that counts," Yokuza said as he got into a defensive stance, causing Lola and Sapphire to defensively jump to the side and reveal the being behind them on their knees bowing. (the being was a cyan transparent kid girl mannequin spirit with sharp hook-like fingers, the height of a teen but still had the proportions of a kid, and had cyan magic sand flaking off her hair; wearing a large cloak and blacksmith goggles)
"My apologies..., companion of Master's daughter, I did not intend to break your hand," the magic sand construct mana spirit said apologeticly. Yokuza slowly lowered his guard until eventually fully doing so; he placed Blue Empress on his back and wrapped his snow wings around it like a sheathe.
"It's alright... I should be grateful I'm still in one piece with how hard you hit me," Yokuza remarked while rubbing the back of his head with his right hand before he contorted his mouth from the sharp pain coursing through his body.
Lumios squinted his eyes and inspected the MSC mana spirit while he tapped his chin. Destiny stood atop Kara's floating Qi racing car as it slowly drifted towards Lumios until it got his attention right before it bumped into him.
"What are you thinking about, brother?" Destiny asked. Lumios sighed and itched the chin area of one of his miruku tendrils.

"I just thought that kid looked like Forge is all," Lumios stated.
"Who dat?" Destiny asked with her head tilted and face perplexed.
"It's the name of the being created by Abigail's Azure Ability," Kara explained emotionlessly.
"Oh..., do you think she's like her sister then?" Destiny asked with an unsure tone.
"I doubt it, given how she referred to Lola," Lumios remarked. Destiny slumped her head disapointedly and sat down on Kara's floating Qi racing car. The MSC mana spirit rose to her feet and floated off the ground.
"I was bestowed with the name Replica, and I appreciate your forgiveness... Yakuza," Replica said, causing Sapphire to giggle and making Yokuza lightly chuckle.
"It's Yokuza," Yokuza uttered.
"I see... I'll call you Yolk then," Replica stated, making Yokuza sigh.
"Why?".
"Because Magic Sand Constructs are only capable of saying words they were programmed with," Replica explained matter-of-factly. Yokuza defeatedly exhaled and nodded his head.
"Thank you for your understanding, Yolk," Replica said while bowing in the air.
Lola mindlessly stared at Dream Weaver and tightened her grip on it before stowing it back into her tails. Lola looked up and waved down Replica to get her attention.
"Say, do you know where... um...," Lola mumbled as Replica tilted her head at Lola.
"Are you asking where The Heavenly Judgement is located?" Replica asked. Lola shyly nodded while holding her bangs to hide her face.
"Understood," Replica stated. Replica turned around and floated down into the space inside the ring walkway. After a few minutes, Replica returned using six arms to carry a bronze spear, which Yokuza noticed resembled the multi-tool Lola showed him on her Dream Viewer screen. (A long pale bronze spear with a large spearhead with five razor-sharp shark-tooth-shaped spikes on each side of the spearhead's blade, it has an upside-down diamond-shaped hole in the middle of the spearhead, glowing grey spiral-like engraving on the shaft of the spear, and the pummel of the spear is a thick ring with a glass-like sphere in the ring filled with teal and lime qi)
"I thought you said it was pen-sized?" Yokuza asked as he looked at Lola, who was also surprised by The Heavenly Judgement's size. Replica looked down at The Heavenly Judgement before she made it shrink down to the size of a pen.
"Is that better, Yolk?". Yokuza closed his eyes and groaned.
"Yeah...," Yokuza uttered under his breath. Replica turned to Lola and handed her The Heavenly Judgement. Lola glanced at it and then up to Replica.
"Just like that?" Lola asked as she raised an ear perplexedly. Replica nodded while glancing at Yokuza's broken wrist.
"Indeed... although Master told me to test you before handing it over, he also told me not to injure any of you," Replica explained. Lola looked at Yokuza's broken wrist before adverting her gaze. Nola floated behind Lola and gave her a pat on the shoulder.
"I know you wanted to have a cool fight like in Candy Catz Clawtastrophe, but look on the bright side you'll be able to get back to playing it now," Nola said before she moved on to Replica.
"So, Replica, how do we turn The Heart of Wonders into a portable state?" Nola asked. Replica nodded and turned towards the centre of the ring walkway.
"It's rather simple, really," Replica stated as she pointed to the exit on the other side of the ring walkway whilst Nola blinked a few times at Replica as Replica placed her hands on her face.
"I feel like you took-.". Nola paused when Replica turned around with a well-trimmed puffy moustache. Replica repeatedly blinked as she stared straight into Nola's eyes to an unnerving degree.
"Never mind... just lead the way," Nola uttered. Replica nodded and removed her fake moustache before she floated straight for the exit while everyone else walked along the ring-shaped walkway.
