《The Journey to find the New Golden Emperor》CHAPTER 146 **Just Pretend I’m not Here…**

After leaving the women, Sahara then went to the palace and decided to tell Prince Seth of what she had done. With her news, Prince Seth had to make it known to others then that the women didn’t know anything and that it was best if people didn’t bring up what had specifically happened to them, if it could be helped. After all, it would be annoying if the women found out what had happened the night before and then go around frantically asking if something had happened to them and began to think that they were now worthless, even if they were told that they had now been ‘fixed’…
He wasn’t too happy with Sahara doing as she wished and without even consulting anyone, as his first action was that of being upset with her! But, after some time, he couldn’t help but think that what she had done was something that could be helping him as well. At the moment, he didn’t need women crying and wishing for death, he also liked the idea of letting those who didn’t rebel get back their cultivation bases. He believed that this type of advantage for them would help them accept him easier and hopes that they will come closer to becoming civilized…Instead of further away from it…
On the other hand, Sahara knew that she should have at least informed him of it first, because he was the boss, but to Sahara, this was her way of breaking off the ties that she had here. She was the one that had blocked people’s cultivation, she was just unblocking them, she was also a woman, so she wanted to help the women who had gone through hell…
Soon, she will have to…
Dammit…She really didn’t want to deal with the Empress Dowager!
Rubbing her tummy, feeling her little man sleeping soundly, she was glad he didn’t have the headache that she was getting. He was very precious, as now that she knew a bit more about the ‘True Golden Heir’s’, she found that this little man was one of them. Not only that, but he was going to be her son! Matthew, her man, was his father!
A very precious little man indeed!
Happiness helped her with the pain that she received, and she continued to walk right into the room, that held all the men discussing what they should do about Purple Haven. She had taken this time to think of what to say as to formally end her as being the boss here, which was something that Joshua stated that she must do. So…She happily wanted to do this right now!
She was done here! There was no time like now to formally state that she wanted to be lazier!
Walking right up to be before Prince Seth, not caring about what they thought of her, Sahara then stated, “Since the real leader of Purple Haven has now returned, from now on…The people should only follow you. I will no longer take any kind of leadership and am glad to pass the reins to you! I hope that you’ll be a good King! Oh! If you do want more help, just give me a yell!”
Prince Seth had sat there looking at her for a small moment, taking in her words and then nodded, “You’ve done as well as you are capable of, I’m sure. We still have more to discuss, like this ‘sports’, but I will gladly take over now and see to my people.”

It was done!
With the audience here, leadership was now formally switched, and Sahara felt relieved!
Sighing, Sahara shrugged and went to Matthew, motioning for him to move out further with his chair, so he did, then she sat on his lap.
This…Such strange behavior!
Woman weren’t meant to be here discussing plans with the men, it was…Abnormal…Just like that of a woman demanding her spouses lap…
For quite some time, silence came into the room and Sahara played with Matthew’s hand, finally looking up, “Just pretend that I’m not here, if that helps.”
That is not how it is supposed to be Princess Sahara, you shouldn’t be here at all! Pretend? Are you joking with us!?
Matthew chuckled and put his arm around her, he liked the idea that she was here, she was, after all, the last leader of the people here, why shouldn’t she be here?
Kissing her on her cheek, Sahara smiled happily back at him.
Matthew only found one reason that she should leave, and that was because she was a distraction! Not only was she the most beautiful woman, but her smile was such a good feeling at such a time, that Matthew felt their troubles with Purple Haven were not as big as he had thought! Not only that, she looked radiant, being ripe with his child!
He just wanted to leave with her right now and take her to their ‘home’!
Sighing, he tried to pay attention, perhaps even on purpose, he did not look at her, knowing that it would completely distract him once again!
When the people at the table finally accepted Sahara’s presence, as she was not leaving…They discussed more and more and finally Sahara had something to do, besides eat, and that was to write the rules down of the ‘sports’ games.
She had done this earlier, but god knows what happened to those parchments!
Starting to writing them out again, she decided to move off Matthew’s lap and sit on her own seat.
Focusing quite well, the men talking did not seem to bother her much and they really did start to ‘pretend’ that she was no longer there!
Having done one game, namely ‘soccer’ or ‘football’, Sahara was done and said that she will write the others another time…Her hand was sore, and she was getting tired. She had not just done rules, but that of the playing field and a few ways of how a team could look. She knew she had to be pretty basic and simple, because these people had no idea about it, even though it had been quite a popular sport back on Earth. She even made sure that the ball was put in as well, as it was different to rugby and AFL. It sucked how she had to write everything! And that’s why she was done! Because just doing one sport took forever!
Getting up and doing a few stretches, she then looked at Prince Seth and tapped him on the shoulder. He didn’t turn to her straight away, as he was still speaking to another, making Sahara pout.
“Yes, Princess Sahara?”
She smiled and then asked, “Where is your Princess? I thought I might say ‘hi’ to her.”
He smiled back and then said, “Princess Sarina is in the Empress’s chambers, she did not take the trip on our way back easy.”
Sahara blinked, then flatly said, “And where’s that?”
Oh! What an idiot!
Sahara wanted to knock herself over the head, she could easily find it herself!

Matthew got up and took her hand, then went to the guard at the door, “Get someone to take Princess Sahara to Princess Sarina.”
Sahara smiled at Matthew, glad that she didn’t have to use her super-duper, awesome powers for a change, then he turned to her, “This Prince will come and get you soon!”
As if he couldn’t bare to part with her, he kissed her again, right in front of everyone, “Be careful, my dear. Take good care of yourself and our son!”
She giggled and left, waving her hand behind her. She thought that he was worrying too much!
Matthew sighed at her departing figure, it had been really good having her here and now…He was already bored and ready to pick her up…
Sitting back down, he missed the figure that was seated next to him…He sighed again.
But the discussion, with or without Matthew’s full attention, went on…
***
“Princess…” Sahara was startled to see such a drained person in front of her…Understanding completely now why they didn’t want to let her into the inner chambers of the Empress’s quarters!
Glad now that she had ignored the two guards, Sahara was already happily thinking of helping this woman, who was much like herself…Pregnant.
Actually, wasn’t it quite a number of us pregnant now? Even the General’s wife was pregnant! Ah, my son will have friends! Hopefully he’s better with people then I am…
Princess Sarina was pale and thinner than Sahara remembered, and in no time at all, she found that Sarina was about three months pregnant.
The troubles of pregnancy!
“I am sorry, Princess Sahara, I am not able to welcome you properly.”
It looked like those words had been the only ones that she could get out, as she closed her eyes.
Knowing that the same Sahara that she had met a while ago was here, Sarina had been wanting to meet her again, but her enthusiasm was greatly diminished, due to not feeling very well at all!
It was truly a more tiresome thing then she had imagined! Her Prince, even that of their subordinates, were all so happy that Prince Seth was having a child, but…Sarina was over it!
This child was very taxing, not only to her exhausted mind, but that of feeling utterly drained, so that she can’t even eat when she was hungry!
Already a small bump could be felt, and Sarina found it hard to be happy about it!
“Haha, Sarina, let me try and help you!”
Sarina frowned at Princess Sahara’s lack of care, while trying to move in a more comfortable spot. “It isn’t like I’m not willing to entertain you, Princess Sahara, but please, would it be too much to ask if you can come back another time?”
But, before she knew it, she felt a hand on her tummy, and she opened her eyes to see Princess Sahara right in front of her!
“…What…What are you doing?”
“Rest assured, Princess, I’ll comfort the little one, so that you can eat something!”
Well, it wasn’t just comforting the little one, as Sahara quickly tried to give what the body wanted…Which was more B6.
She had known about it in her last life and had to keep an eye on it when she had been pregnant with her daughter, but in this life, even knowing what it looks like now, it was easy to incorporate it into Sarina’s system. Considering that Sarina had not been able to eat, it only made sense to help her with it.
Seeing hazelnuts there on a side table, but untouched, Sahara was sure that Sarina should be ok in the future. Then, Sahara made sure that her womb was doing well, in which it seemed fine, as the lining wasn’t thin. But it was mostly the hormones, now that B6 was filling in some of the gaps, Sahara felt like the problem was already half taken care off. So, for a very brief time, Sahara told the spiritual essence to ease the feeling that the hormones gave Sarina but did not stop the process at all. Spiritual essence being used as a pain relief wasn’t something unheard of but if one could not learn it, then it could never be used. It was obviously a selfish type of technique that couldn’t be given by others, and that was why Sahara told Sarina’s essence to do this, as they were the only ones to help in that department and knew how much help that can be given.
Since the hormones was a completely normal thing, this was the best idea that Sahara could offer Sarina, but she didn’t want it to happen all the time and told the spiritual essence to ease off before the end of the day. If Sarina could eat even once a day, it’s better than none, and besides, the ‘morning sickness’ should subside soon, as Sarina was getting into her second trimester.
After just a few minutes of Sahara focusing and touching her slight bump, Sarina felt slightly better and found herself sigh in relief!
Ah, it was really good to finally be able to want to eat!
Quickly, she looked at the ‘maidservant’, who had been put beside her since before they had left Green Haven, and asked, “Please, please get me something to eat!”
It wasn’t like Sarina knew she didn’t have to ask for food with such manners, as she was the future Empress, no…It was because she was desperate! She wanted it now! Not in an hour!
The maidservant left in haste, sighing in relief, she had not been able to give her new master very much at all lately, except that of light massages. Having a number of maidservants ask to take this position and she personally being picked by Princess Sarina herself, the maidservant had come, changing her home and leaving her family.
It should be better now! Princess Sarina wasn’t bad to her and now she was able to eat!
“Much thanks, Sahara, I have been wondering if I was ever going to make it through this!”
Sahara sat back, and looked back to ‘Sarina’, whom she didn’t officially meet beforehand, just saw with her eyes. “It’s cool, I know firsthand that pregnancy can be somewhat annoying! Do…Do you want to know the sex?”
“…What?” Sarina snapped her head up to Sahara and blinked, “You know if it’s male or female?”
Sahara nodded, like it was nothing!
“I don’t know…Because…” Sarina was sad, because if this was a girl…
Sahara frowned, from hearing her thoughts through the spiritual essence.
…Sahara didn’t like how a mother could be upset like this, especially due to the fact…That the child inside her, was in fact a girl…
Was this what it was really like uh? To be a woman in the harem of an Emperor? Hang on…He’s not even the emperor here yet!
