A town crier announced the news as he stands at the centre-point of the plaza. Townsfolk gathered around, all murmuring in curiosity as they heard the news.

It’s been a while since the mortal who got summoned from another world came. And unbeknownst to the people of Tophet, the Queen choose the man to be the King of the throne.

None other than the people inside the castle knows the one the Queen chose. And for this bizarre announcement, every left in bafflement and excitement.

“What is the name of our King?” one of the townsfolk asked. It’s the curiosity of the people to know who will be sitting on the throne.

“Is he one of the nobles as well?” another jived in. The clamour of the crowd became louder, murmuring, all while asking same questions with each other.

“The King’s name have never been disclosed to announce; his name remains in confidential.”

The town crier announced in a loud, clear voice that make everyone heeded. “It has revealed yet by Her Majesty, and her decision not to make it announce is her request.”

Now that the proclamation of the wedding of the Demon Queen towards the mystery man spreads, the crowd find it strange to know whoever the Queen chose.

The mystery who will be reigning the next Demon King, the nobles known to be in this Kingdom.

Every people makes their speculations: Some told that the nobles chose the Queen to marry is Marquis Paimon. He’s known for the charisma and robust physique.

He’s also good looking, and mature enough to be the Queen’s husband. Others speculate Agares, one of the battalion commanders of the Duke Valefar. He crowned as the Baron of the Duke due to his nobility to free the demon slaves emancipated by the humans.

The rest raised their thoughts to Samael, a Count from Citadel, Gamigin, a Duke from the Court of Limbo, and Andrealphus, a baron from the village of Dis.

Those people are the ones with the ranks and enough capability to be the next Demon King. Throughout their history, Mephistopheles, the late Demon King to the late Queen Juno, who ruled the Kingdom for a millenia, serves as one of the great Kings.

Although, the war between mortals and Demons haven’t been concluded, the reign of Mephistopheles as the King became a foundation to the abundance of the Kingdom.

He resolves disputes to each and every people has; and managed greatly to defend the land from the invaders. He improved logistics and food supply, making sure that everyone has their meals on their plates.

Mephistopheles served as the iron fist to the officials who tried to do corruption on his reign. Together with Queen Juno. Through that, the prosperous days with the Kingdom felt by every citizens.

Now, Queen Astarte tries her best to follow the footsteps of her late father. Everyone knows of it, and they have no qualms about her leadership.

But then, the question lingers throughout the people is who the person the Queen chose? Is that person worthy enough to rule the Demon Realm?

That remains the question in each of them. Not knowing that the revelation unveils on that day change the history of the Demon race forever.
