Chapter 17. Quantum

Winston looked at Harry's gun. It was a German officer's

pistol - a Luger. "Where did you get this from I wonder."

He'd heard stories of soldiers taking trophies, but Harry

wasn't the kind.

A barrage of shell bursts had kept everyone's head low

and hidden the sound of Harry shooting himself.

Winston took the gun from Harry's hand and rolled

his body into the stream.

"It will be neater for everyone this way old mate."
