Xian after completing his work left with Li Wei for the Longfei restaurant. Li Wei was driving the car while Xian was reading something on the iPad. 

"Xian, do you want to go with this deal?" Li Wei asked. 

Xian shifted his gaze from iPad screen to Li Wei. "Mark told me that it will be good if we go with it. Maximus will be opened to world market then as Hu Shen's company is Netherlands based so it will be a boost for us. I also analyzed some factors and found the same thing. It will be profitable," asserted Xian. 

"But he is the first client of ours who is adamant on meeting to you. He just wants to have some negotiations with us," stated Li Wei. 

"Well, I checked the other things as well. The share prices of Lin corporation are in good range with a good position in the stock market. Investing in our firm will be profitable for him only. Moreover, he just started his business here so he wants someone who can support it and we are going to provide that support to him," Xian opined. 

"Yeah. Let's see what happens in meeting. Mr. Shen is asking for more profit which is not good for our company. I talked with his secretary regarding that. Let's see what happens ahead," stated Li Wei. After an hour they reached the 'Longfei Restaurant.' 

Hu Shen and his secretary Qiang Lao were waiting for then in the reception. As Xian and Li Wei arrived there, they both welcomed them. "Xian, I am dropping the honorific if you don't mind," stated Hu Shen. 

"I don't mind. We can talk without honorifics," asserted Xian. Hu Shen smiled and told them to follow him. The restaurant was a traditional one where private rooms were made. Hu Shen took them to one such room where floor seating arrangement was made.

They all got seated over there. Hu Shen offered the tea to them. Xian thanked him and said, "traditional things always captivate the hearts of the natives. I am happy that you choose this place for the meeting."

"True. You are saying absolutely true. This tea which I offered you will evergreen and strengthen the ties between us two," declared Hu Shen and raised the porcelain cup to give a cheer. They all gave cheer to them and drank the tea. 

"I was informed by Mark that you wanted to meet me before signing this deal for the negotiations," stated Xian. 

"Yes. Actually, I want to talk about the share percentage. You see Lin corporate has good position in foreign market. So, I want you to look into that again because I believe the share should be a little high," proclaimed Hu Shen. 

"Hu Shen, you know the share percentage is appropriate according to me. It is highest among many of our investors," Xian stated. Hu Shen nodded and the talks continued between them till the late evening when night started to fall. 

The discussion between the two came to an end and they both agreed on an optimal share value. Hu Shen thanked Xian for coming and giving them a chance to work with Xian. After that they left for their respective homes.

"Hu Shen is the one whom I am suspicious of who called me two days ago. But the way he talks does not seem to be that he is behind this. Lan Zhan did not find that number, I wonder," muttered Xian while driving his car. The traffic jam occurred when Xian applied the brakes. 

He took out the phone and saw the messages of Mishi. "When are you coming? Sam is looking for you. What will you eat?" Mishi has asked on the message. 

"Why is she so cute?!" mumbled Xian and was going to reply her when he hear a knock on the windowpane. He turned his head and saw a boy. He opened the window and asked him what he needed. 

"Brother, this is for you," said the boy and handed him a folded paper. Before Xian could ask him the boy disappeared from his sight. He opened the paper and started reading. 

"Soon, new year is coming. I hope it will go well for you. Be ready to forget Mishi Xin because she is mine since the day I saw her.

Immediately he got down the car and looked for the boy but he was not there. The traffic was cleared and the people starting shouting at him to drive the Car. Xian got into the car and parked it aside so that others did not need to bear inconvenience. 

"Who could it be?" murmured Xian, looking at the paper. He then started the engine and left for the home. As soon as he reached home, he started looking for Mishi.

"Where is Mishi?" Xian asked his mother after pulling away from the hug. He caressed Samuel's head and said, "Dad is here. I am freshening up then we will play." He then looked at her mother. 

"She is in your room," Biyu replied. Xian ran upstairs and walked inside the room. "Mishi, Mishi," he shouted her name and looked for her in the room. But she wasn't there. He then opened the washroom door and saw Mishi was in the bathrobe, just took a bath. 

"Xian," mumbled Mishi who was shocked to see him. Xian swiftly walked to her and embraced her tightly which confused Mishi. She put her hands on his back and called his name softly "Xian."

"Do not leave me ever," Xian said and then pulled back. He cupped Mishi's face in his hands and looked for the answer. "I will never. What happened? Why are you saying such things?" Mishi queried. 

"Nothing. I just missed you," Xian said, not wanted her to know about the thing which he encountered half an hour ago. Mishi grabbed Xian's blazer, pulling him closer to her and then brushed her lips against his. 

Xian closed his eyes, arms around her waist and then responded to her kiss. He sucked those lips of her when Mishi realized how fierce Xian was acting. But she did not stop him because she know that way he will be comforted. 

They moved towards the wall where Xian pinned Mishi against it. He peppered the kisses down her jawline and then went to the crook of her neck. "Xian, Sam will come. Let's stop," Mishi finally said. 

"He is with mom. Do not stop me today," said Xian in a low voice while still giving some light kisses on her neck. He then raised his head and looked into her eyes. With a thumb, he caressed one of her cheeks. "I do not want to lose you again. I will not be able to bear the separation from you this time," Xian said. 

"We cannot be separated, Xian. I love you more than my life and then we have Sam now. What happened? Did someone tell you something?" Mishi questioned. Her gaze was intact with Xian's. 

"Tell me. Do you remember the first time we both got separated? After the reunion we told each other that we will share everything with each other. Let's share," Mishi stated. Xian pulled her towards him by circling his hand around her neck and then touched their foreheads. 

"I remember. Let's stay in this position for a while. It is calming me down," Xian declared. Mishi nodded and put her hand over his hands and caressed them.

Both of them have closed their eyes, feeling the warmness of each other. "Are you getting cold?" Xian asked her. 

"Uh-huh… no," answered Mishi in a low voice. 

"I am going out. Put on your clothes," pronounced Xian before pulling away from her. He kissed her once again before going out of the bathroom. Mishi wondered why Xian behaved like that. She quickly put on the clothes and walked out. "Go freshen up," Mishi told him. Xian nodded and went inside the washroom. 

Mishi on the other hand shut the door and went to the dressing table. She dried her hair and by then Xian had come out of the washroom. Xian got into the bed and told Mishi to come there. Mishi did so and sat beside him. 

"Now tell me what happened?" Mishi inquired. 

"Mishi, I got a call few days ago from an unknown number. The person stated that you will betray me and he will snatch you away from me. First I thought it was a prank call but then he called me again before the Christmas. And now today he sent a letter by the hands of a kid where it was written that he will do something on the new year. I am scared," Xian briefly told her. 

"Why did you not tell me earlier?" Mishi questioned angrily. 

"I do not want you to be in trouble," Xian replied. 

"Xian, same thing happened to me," Mishi stated. 

"What do you mean?" Xian asked confusedly.
