The dragon didn't even bother looking at the annoyed human beside him. He glanced into the room with interest. "How long since it been that I entered Dragon Abode? I didn't think you can enter this room so quickly."

Lin Xiao was annoyed. "What do you mean by that? Didn't you only need to have enough Dragon Power inside your blood if you want to enter?"

"Naturally, that's what people usually said, but in truth, you're tested every single time you try to enter this place. If you used to pass but then you didn't, it meant that there's something inside of you that no longer suitable for this place anymore."

Lin Hu mulled a bit. His previous master used to be a good person and could enter the Dragon Abode with no problem.  But as time passed, he was getting more and more restless with how things worked and unable to accept the reality. In the end, he failed as a father and the Kingdom fell into ruins.

Lin Xiao no longer paid any attention to the dragon. He was looking at the room, which had lines separating eight section. Looking at it made him felt as if he was looking at a large compass because the room was split into eight with one center in the middle. At the floor, Lin Xiao could see different drawings on each path.

He glanced down and noticed that the engravings on the floor below him depicted mountains. It was a faraway mountain that he couldn't recognize and the picture seemed to be blurry. There was a layer of fog that prevented him from seeing the tru picture.

'Go to the lake section.'

Lin Xiao glanced around and noticed that right in front of him, which was the opposite of the mountain's section, was the picture of a lake. Different from other pictures that seemed to be covered in fog, the lake was crystal clear to him. The lake was dark blue in color, sparkling as if it was real water while the surroundings were filled with greenery.

It was so beautiful despite it was only being a picture.

Lin Xiao found himself drawn into the picture unconsciously as he began to walk closer. This time, Lin Hu didn't disturb him as the dragon understood that Lin Xiao was truly the Lake Emperor. The Dragon Abode recognized him as one and allowed the brat to see through the illusions.

'He's acknowledged even though he's so mischievous and bratty?' Lin Hu felt so helpless.

The Heaven's will was something that he couldn't understand in the slightest bit. But whatever the reason was, he knew that as long as Lin Xiao could survive until the end, the seat was his.

The Qi in the air began to move. 

Wind blow and ripples in the air disrupted the surroundings. However, it was not done coarsely, instead, it was like they were singing and dancing to welcome the new Emperor who came here. Even though the new Emperor was still very weak and couldn't do anything yet, the nature had already noticed him.

Lin Xiao was completely immersed in the picture. He could clearly see that the picture allowed him to see a completely different world. At the same time, it was giving him the picture of what Lake Dragon actually was.

Every Emperor had their own power and ability, Lake Dragon was known to be the best support Emperor with its kingdom prosper because of his ability.

The dragon power, that laid dormant inside Lin Xiao's body for years, started to get aroused. They filled Lin Xiao's body and made the youth emanated a different type of pressure as the young man stared at the picture before him.

Time passed in this fashion.

Lin Xiao had unknowingly used his Dragon Power while staring at the picture before him and allowed himself to submerge into the picture before him.

The moment Lin Xiao closed his eyes, the phenomenon stopped. It was already the time for the celebration to be over and the wind calmed down. The Qi also no longer get attracted to Lin Xiao's body while his dragon power also laid dormant once more after giving gift to Lin Xiao.

Lin Xiao opened his eyes and now, there was an additional golden light within his pupil. However, if one didn't pay close attention to him, they wouldn't be able to notice that additional feature.

"Lin Hu, Lake Dragon's main power is nourishing and healing, isn't it?" Lin Xiao asked. He had always been wondering why his younger brother often asked him to help tending the plants even if it was only for a short period of time. Lin Yun had said that Lin Xiao was great at taking care of plants while Lin Xiao himself knew better than anyone that he didn't really like the tedious job of tending plants.

But after seeing the picture and the revelation showed to him, he understood why Lin Yun liked him to tend the plants.

Lake Dragon was known for its ability to nourish. It meant that in the kingdom where Lake Emperor resided, plants would be able to grow much better. With better quality and also larger quantities, it could be said that Lake Emperor's kingdom would flourish in time.

Lin Hu sighed and nodded. "You finally figure this out."

"I just noticed." Lin Xiao looked at the picture with complicated feelings. Afterwards, he bowed down as thanks for what the picture had shown to him. He was grateful that he could finally learnt what it meant to be the Lake Emperor.

"And now I believe you can use your Dragon Power."

"Hmm?" Lin Xiao inspected his body and smiled.
