《Blood of an Inhuman Hitman (Rewrite)》Chapter 4 - Training from Hell and Information on Lineages

"Eh?"
As Jack looked at the average but muscular man, he wiped his eyes thinking he was seeing things. But he came to realize he wasn't. He looked at the man in more detail.
He wore similar clothes to what Jack had on yesterday but he was wearing green and black rather than just black. He also had black hair and ice blue eyes, his wings were also black.
"You looked at me enough? Good, then get up!" the man abruptly said which caused Jack to jump a little in shock.
Jack was shaken out of his stupor and soon shot out of his bed and found some clean replacements of his clothes from yesterday and quickly put them on before he stood straight up, his back as straight as a tree.
"Okay, that's better," the man sighed before sizing up Jack, "You really are a big fucker, just like Zoe said. Well, I'm gonna help you excavate that potential of yours that Zoe seems so adamant about. Well, for your physical body at least. Well, I better introduce myself. I am Charles Tenebris, a Fallen, we should get along as our surnames pretty much mean the same thing. I'm going to be your physical trainer, as you're a vampire and one with two especially ancient and strong lineages I'm going to push you to the very edge. I actually can't wait to see how much you improve."
After speaking, Charles just started walking out of the room, causing Jack to have to quickly follow him to catch up. They kept walking until they reached an outside training area similar to the testing area he was in yesterday. Charles spoke to him as soon as they got there.
"Okay Jack, start running."
"What?" the red-haired teen looked lost as he stared dumbly at Charles.
With an annoyed look on his face, Charles looked at Jack with disbelief as he repeated himself, "I said, start running, you dimwit."
Still confused, Jack started running around the running track which was quite big, Jack estimated that it was 800m the whole way around; about half a mile.
Jack soon completed his first lap, quicker than any human ever could and even then, he was pacing himself. Then followed the second, the third, the fourth, and before he knew it he'd completed 10 laps and he wasn't even out of breath. That mysterious energy kept going to his muscles through his blood and repairing the tears in them and fueling them to go further.
'Okay, I really need to ask either Charles or Zoe about this energy. It seems helpful but I'm in the dark here and that doesn't feel particularly comfortable.'
After the 10th lap, Charles called Jack over and told him to put those weights on his wrists and ankles and to also put on the weighted vest.
Jack complied but was utterly shocked by the weight of the small wrist and ankle weights. They must have each weighed at least 250kg and after putting them on, Jack felt like when he tried to move his arms it was like he was trying to move through thick sludge. But it was still manageable, at least until he put on the vest anyway.
The vest must have weighed at least 500kg, Jack felt like his shoulders were going to give way under the pressure and that his back was about to break. As if he didn't notice any of it, Charles forced Jack to start running again.

This time it took considerably longer to do a lap but that mysterious energy was getting more and more robust and was helping Jack's muscles repair and become stronger than before. As he was running, Jack started to try to figure out what the mysterious energy was. He found out that it came from his heart, more specifically a bead of blood in his heart. The bead and energy were both an incredibly deep and bright sanguine red, just like blood.
'Quite fitting as I'm a vampire. It's probably something to do with Vampires overall or just my Lineage.'
As Jack kept running, it was getting easier and easier to move his body and his body was getting stronger and stronger because his Vampiric healing factor and the mysterious energy were accelerating his muscle's growth.
This carried on for a few hours and Charles kept adding on weights and even with the mysterious energy and his especially powerful healing factor, by the end of the session he was exhausted.
Remembering the mysterious energy he brought it up to Charles. When he told him, Jack only saw Charles look at him with a shocked face like he'd just seen a miracle. Or something impossibly bad.
"Stay right here, Jack, I'm going to get Zoe!"
This line didn't put him at ease either. His earlier traumatic experience making him feel uncomfortable about the fact he was being left in the dark about something concerning himself. He only hoped they'd tell him the whole truth, he'd hate to be distrustful of Zoe, for some reason.
About 10 minutes later Charles reappeared with Zoe, she instantly rushed up to Jack and had him explain to him about the mysterious energy.
After he did, she seemed stunned.
Seeing her stunned behavior, Jack's slight paranoia from before caused him to walk up to her and shake her out it, wanting to know some answers "Zoe! Snap out of it, what is this energy in me? What does it do!?"
She snapped out of her stupor and looked towards Jack before finally answering the question that had been on his mind and giving the information he wanted.
"It's why your lineages were hunted into extinction by the Hunters - an association that hunts supernatural creatures. It's called Blood Energy, it's what made your lineage so special," Zoe composed herself further before carrying on, "It has the effects of constantly helping the body of its user get stronger. Whether it's your strength, speed, durability or especially your stamina and recovery ability, they're all be enhanced incredibly. It will eventually result in a super vampire of sorts and along with your already strong healing factor from your mutated lineage, it makes you an incredibly scary opponent and also one that's very hard to kill."
"So wait, other Vampires don't have Blood Energy?"
"Well they do but from what you've told me, you feel like there's a bead of blood in your heart, right? That's a sign of incredibly pure Blood Energy. Most Vampires have impure Blood energy which can only help them so much and that's why the Hunters leave them alone for the most part," Thinking about what this meant, Zoe looked at Jack with serious eyes "You can't mention this to people, Jack. If the Hunters got a hold of this information, you'd be hunted the ends of the Earth."
What Zoe just said lit something inside of Jack, something bloodthirsty and violent was awoken in him.

"Oh, because it's such a normal thing to tell people. Along with the fact I'm a Vampire, I'm a special one," Jack smirked at Zoe's worried expression but carried on, that weird violence inside him pushing something out of his mouth, "But if the Hunters do find out, I welcome their challenge."
After he said that a bloodthirsty smile spread itself across his face, revealing his fangs and sharp teeth like a beast. Zoe simply smiled at this, as if she was pleased that Jack wasn't shaking in his boots.
While Charles walked up to Jack and slapped him on the shoulder and spoke to him, "If you want to speak ballsy like that, you need the strength to back it up. Don't worry, I'll push you further tomorrow!"
Jack instantly paled as he remembered the day he had today and then he imagined a day that was harder. As he tried to plead Charles to not do that, Zoe giggled while covering her mouth with her hand.
And like that 5 months went by.
Jack learned some things about his mutated lineage and the two lineages that made it and these things were:
-His lineage was made through a Beast gaining vampirism and then passing it back to a normal Human, which started the Vaebeast lineage. This made it so that whoever had that specific lineage gained specific strengths of a certain beast. These were called Aspect of the Beast and Jack found out his aspect was that of a Tiger, he unlocked it when he finished his maturation period. It resulted in his body becoming stronger - Especially his bones, tendons, muscles, his teeth and the claws he can morph from his nails.
-He was also unlucky enough to have the Glutton trait as he found out after his first feeding after his first day of training. If a normal vampire required a single blood bag, he required 4 or 5. This was mainly due to his pure Blood Energy. Luckily, it would get better with time.
-He also found that he can spread his Blood Energy throughout his body and his body would undergo a slight transformation. In this transformation he gets red stripes in a pattern like that of a Tiger, his body also gives off a slight red glow/aura and he gets 2x stronger in this form. But he can only hold the form for 10 minutes otherwise even with his healing factor, his body starts to break down from the surge of power.
-The Blood Angel lineage didn't give him any physical buffs like the Vaebeast one but it did give him buffs to his mentality and his ability to learn. Specifically, things to do with War and Fighting. This, from what Zoe had told him, was a normal thing for most lineages but his was special in that it was so focused on one thing.
-Something he'd found as a demerit from this, however, was that he had taken a massive liking to fighting and violence. According to Zoe, the Blood Angels were something akin to the special forces for the Vampire royalty. Think of super SAS and you'd get an idea about how scary they were.
This was pretty much all he discovered and he couldn't exactly search for information on his lineage as it was all gathered up and burnt by the Hunters.
Anyway, Jack had finished his grueling and hell-like training from Charles and was half-way through his combat and weapons training. But before he carried on any further, he had to meet his Mom and his Little sister, he'd put it off with the excuse that he needed to go through the physical conditioning of the training camp first and then he'd said he needed to complete the weapons and combat training but he had to meet them eventually.
He just didn't know how to explain the changes that had happened to his appearance.
Shrugging it off and deciding to just tell his mom he'd dyed his hair and puberty happened in a major way, he took off the weights he had on and had a shower. He didn't have to worry about his eyes as Zoe had already given him some contacts that looked exactly like his old eyes, sorting out that problem.
Weirdly enough, Zoe said something about it not mattering if his mom found out anymore. It confused him as the Agency's modus operandi was pretty much "Don't let people know we exist".
Nonetheless, he carried on washing himself and when he got out he dried himself, put on some clean clothes, put in the contacts and walked to meet Zoe so she could take him to where he was going to meet his mom and little sister.
"Are you ready, Jack?"
Zoe teased Jack as soon as he arrived, she seemed to love doing it and acted like she was Jack's big sister whenever she could.
"Yeah, I guess so, Zoe. Let's get going."Jack replied nervously.
His mother may have left him after his father had died but he could see why, he wasn't exactly helpful, like ever, he was a bit of an ass and he was a walking talking reminder of his father.
He inherited everything of his fathers, from looks to his height, even some of his mannerisms, so it must have been hard for his mom. She also left him with enough money to live on his own for about 10 years if he wasn't stupid. He hadn't totally forgiven her because of how much it hurt when his mom just packed her stuff up and left but he understood part of the reason why she left.
Guess he had his new vampiric perspective to thank for that understanding.
He was mainly nervous about meeting his sister.
Although he was older, it was only by 2 years and when she left, she was around 13 so he wouldn't be surprised if she didn't care about him much after 3 years of growing up in a different place. That was what he was scared about the most.
He loved his sister, not in a weird way, but in a purely platonic way and he cared deeply for her, just like an older brother should. But if she forgot about him he'd be lying if he said it wouldn't devastate him. Especially what happened all those months ago which turned him into what he was.
Shaking his head, Jack got rid of all the negative thoughts and started thinking about the positives. As he was doing this, he walked to the car he and Zoe were taking and got into it, Zoe wasted no time and they shot off towards where he was going to meet his mom and sister.
Jack was nervous and felt like he had butterflies in his stomach.
'Seems like even Vampires can worry this much, huh? They always seemed so calm in the movies.'
