"Our universe grants every soul a twin -- a reflection of themselves -- the kindred spirit -- And no matter where they are or how far away they are from each other -- even if they are in different dimensions, they will always find one another. This is destiny; this is love."
- Julie Dillon

The next lesson was with Aizawa. It was a series of tests in which the lowest person would get expelled.
Of course, like the bunch of dumbasses you were, you all believed him and did your very best. Only for him to tell you that he legally was not allowed to do that.
Thus receiving a two-minute hate session.
You were all sitting at the tables at lunch, grumbling about how much of an asshole your teacher was. You were sitting next to Izuku again, and across from you were Uraraka and Iida. Uraraka and Izuku had been chatting happily until you decided to, out of a random burst of anger, slam the table, causing everyone sitting at it and those around you stop what they're doing and stare at you strangely.
You had been thinking about what news had been broken to you recently. About how you were destined to be with someone who didn't even like you. How you two would end up saving the whole world. How you two were prophecies. How you had to live up to that prophecy.
Why you? Why did you have to take up that responsibility? All Might existed for a reason, so why was a couple of teenagers the ones who had to bear that kind of weight? Was something going to happen to All Might that would eventually lead to your fated roles? Nothing could happen to All Might, he was basically invincible.

But then again, even you knew superheroes weren't invincible. But why you?! Why a couple of teenagers who didn't even get along?! Why were you two the ones that everyone was going to depend on to save the entire fucking world—
And then that's when you had suddenly punched the table, and now we're here, people slowly starting to go back to their meals as they looked away from you.
"(Y-Y/N)-chan?" Izuku asked, concerned as he leaned low to look at your face, covered by your hair as your head hung low. "Are you alright?"
Snapping out of your mood, realising that a few people had been staring, you flushed in embarrassment before laughing awkwardly and saying, "Ye-Yeah, Izuku. I'm fine, hun. Just a sudden twitch, that's all."
Izuku nodded, believing you before turning back to Uraraka without a second thought. Which kind of hurt, but you didn't blame him at all. He had just met his soulmate and was getting along with her great. Unlike you.
"(Y/N)-san."
Speak of the devil.
You sighed and turned to look up at Todoroki, who was staring down at you blankly from behind you. "Yes, Prince Zuko?"
He frowned at the nickname in confusion before saying, "I need to have a word with you. Alone."
You internally groaned, not wanting to feel even worse about your current situation. However, you stood up and followed him out of the cafeteria, thanking Lunch Rush as you passed him, him thanking you back.
You followed Todoroki down the hall until you both reached your usual classroom, entering it. Todoroki closed the door behind him, and you frowned. "Are you finally going to kill me?"
He ignored your unnecessary comment before he motioned you to sit down. "Please, sit."
You sort of listened to what he said, sitting on top of one of the desks. He leaned back against the door of the classroom in silence, and you waited expectedly, growing a little bit impatient. After what seemed like five minutes of just sitting there, he finally said something, "I think you should meet my family."

You choked on your saliva, coughing uncontrollably, and Todoroki quickly walked over and patted your back, trying his best to calm your fit down. Once you were able to breathe, you looked up at him incredulously. "You think I should what?"
"Meet my family."
"Why?"
"Why not?"
You sighed as you brought out your hand, beginning to list out each reason on your fingers, "Firstly, I've only known you for a few days. Secondly, I've only been your soulmate for a few days. Thirdly, we're not even dating. And finally, I barely even know you. So why would I want to meet your family now?"
Todoroki thought over your points before nodding his head and saying, "How about we get to know each other then?"
You paused, looking at him cautiously before saying, "What's the catch?"
"You come over to my house and you can meet my family momentarily. I won't force you to go out to a family dinner with us, but you will meet them. I'd rather them meet my soulmate as soon as possible. Once you guys make your introductions, we can go to my room and bond."
You blushed at his choice of words at the end, and you waved your hands around quickly, shaking your head. "Todoroki, never use those choice of words again."
He tilted his head like a little puppy dog at you, confused and unaware of the underlying meaning his words could of had, "What do you mean?"
"Well, it sounded kind of. . . Never mind, I'm choosing not to ruin you. So, only quick introductions?"
"It's like you went over to your friend's house and met their parents for the first time. Of course, the more times you go, the more times you chat with them. Until finally, you go to a family dinner."
You sighed, exhausted from his intense planning before saying, "Fine. When do you want to do this?"
"Is this Friday okay? We can walk to my house together."
You nodded your head, "Yeah, it should be fine. My aunt will be out, so I'll just have to bring my house keys with me so I'm not locked out of the house when I get back from your place."
He nodded his head before saying, "I'll be sure to remind you."
You smiled lazily, nodding your head awkwardly before saying, "Cool."
You both sat there silently, the atmosphere painfully awkward. Or, for you at least.
Todoroki suddenly spoke up again, "What about me saying that you should come in my room so we could bond sounded strange?"
Causing you to explode in a vivid shade of red.
