"What?!" I whispered.

"There was a guy around my age. He was my very good friend. I trusted him a lot. But one day when there was no one in the orphanage as all of them went to picnic, I stayed back as I wasn't feeling well, he stayed back too for me. I found that very sweet. But then he showed his true colours.

He forced himself on me. I tried my best to stop him. I beat him but he was so strong for me. He stripped away my clothes. I was naked in front of him. I didn't feel that helpless in my entire life. I should thank god that one of my friend from the orphanage returned early and saved me from that bastard. After that he was taken into custody. But that incident left its mark on my mind forever."

I instantly took Scarlet in a bone crushing hug. I didn't even have slightest idea that Scarlet suffered this much. How I wish to kill that bastard with my own hands!

"Baby, I'm so sorry you had to go through all that. Cry as much you want right now my love. But after today you're not going to shed a single tear. I will make sure about that."

"Xav!! Sometimes till today I get nightmares of him. His hands all over ....." She was crying so much.

"Shuuush! I am not gonna get any man near you baby. I'm gonna be there always."

"Thank you Xav. I can't imagine my life without you." She kissed my neck.

"You wouldn't have too. Because I'm not going anywhere. I love you Scarlet."

We kissed so passionately. I bite her bottom lip and she moaned in pleasure. I moved down to her jaw and neck. I sucked hard on her neck. I'm sure there will be a hickey. My one hand slid under her top making contact with her soft skin. But I looked at her I didn't want to do anything without her permission.

I woke up in the morning as rays of sunshine hit my face. I looked beside me sleeping the love of my life wrapped his arms around me. Last night he made me feel so special. Xavier Romano is an insatiable man. It felt amazing.

Just then Scarlet came from shower. Wearing a blue short and white Tee.

"What happened? You seemed tensed?" She asked.

"Scarlet whatever I'm going to say you need to listen very carefully." I held her hand in mine.

"You're scaring me now." She said.

"You know when I told I am very close to find the gang which murdered my parents, I have got them. Apparently they know that I'm gonna target them so they have launched a war against my gang. My gang and I would be going for a war with them. You need to stay in my another mansion which no one knows about. You can't become my weakness. My one security team would be there with you 24/7. I don't know when I will be back, but you need to promise me you will be safe. If someone comes to you, you will save yourself and not me."

"Xavier, oh god!!" She hugged me very tightly becoming a crying mess.

"Please don't cry Scarlet. I won't be able to go from here." I cupped her face.

"You promise me you will come back alive." She sobbed.

"I-I can't promise you this." I wiped her tears with pad of my thumb.

"What? What d-do you mean by this, huh?"

"I can't, please." Now I was crying too.

"Listen you Mr. Romano, as your girlfriend I'm warning you if you don't come back alive I will hunt you down, so better come back." She said sternly but lost at the end. She cried in my arms.

"I love you Scarlet."

"I love you too Xavier."

"I have to leave now. Aspen will take you to my mansion."

We kissed as if there was no tomorrow. We both wanted to calm each other, soothe each other.

"Come back alive but don't forget to kill that bastard."

I nodded. I kissed her forehead and started walking outside my condominium.

Scarlet stood at the door smiling through her tears. Taking one last glance at her, I drove off.
