you had been home for a couple of hours, security details everywhere around your apartment building. you still didn't feel safe and you didn't want to drag your brother and dad in this so you just put your faith in the people who were supposed to protect you.

you heard a faint knock on your door, you didn't answer get up or even move from your position not wanting visitors.

that was until your heard your door crack and fall on the ground with a loud thud. you quickly shot up and grabbed your phone, you quickly found spencer's contact and after a couple of rings he answered.

"spencer" you whisper frantically looking out of the widows to see your security details dead "y/n what's wrong" he asks, no emotion in his voice. "there's someone in my apartment, it's not an agent because well all of them are dead" you whisper grabbing the glock 19 out of your dresser.

"y/n what ever you do stay quiet, don't make a sound, we're on our way" he says "well no shit sherlock just hurry up before someone ends up in the hospital" you bluntly respond and he shoots you a quick ok.

you quickly walk to a corner behind your door and hold your gun in your dominant hand.

you hear the footsteps coming closer and closer until eventually they walk into your room. he looks everywhere before he notices you, he charges at you and you throw your phone and position your gun at him.

"look i've had a shitty day and getting kidnapped was not in the plans today so either i shoot you or... i shoot you, either way it won't be a good day for either of us" you say as he charges at you.

you aim the gun at his right thigh and shoot him twice, you aim and his left thigh and shoot him twice.

you drop your gun and went to grab your phone but see another man coming for you, he swings at you but you duck hitting him in his rib cage. you come back up and elbow him in his face before knocking him out.

you stay on your bed and wait to see if anyone else is coming and sure enough you see one more guy walk in.

his back is faced to you so you take this opportunity to jump and wrap your legs around his neck, squeezing it. you twist your body with enough force to bring the both of you down, you hit the floor and groan at the pain in your side.

you look to see that the guy is out and you grab your gun and limp over to your bed and sit down, hissing at the pain in your side.

another guys comes into the room and you shoot him twice in the abdomen in hopes that will keep him out.

you hear footsteps in your house and you limp out of the room and with your gun ready to shoot.

"y/n" you hear spencer say and you breathe a sigh of relief and put your gun down.

you see the team and your dad looking at you slightly concerned seeing as though your door is in pieces on the floor and your limping.

"they're all out in the bedroom" luke and matt go to check it out while your dad engulfs your in a hug, you immediately hug him back.

"oh i am so glad that you are ok" he mumbles earning a laugh from you "my dad is aaron hotchner of course i was gonna be ok, you literally took out four men with a pipe" you laugh quietly and hugs you tighter.

"ok dad too tight" you say and he retreats from the hug "i'm ok i promise just a bruised rib" you reassure him.

luke and matt come out of the bedroom and look at you with wide eyes "all three are out cold and one has a two gun shots wounds to each leg" math says and they all look at you surprised "what like i said my dad is aaron hotchner" i say and they all smile.

you see the police take the two guys out and the emt's taking one out on a stretcher.

"ok y/n we're going to have to get you a protection detail to be with you at all times and we're also going to have to move your location" emily says and you sigh "i figured that, who am i staying with" you ask.

"reid, i trust him and you guys already have an established relationship" your dad says and you nod too tired to even attempt to argue "ok i'll get packing" you say and walk out of the room.

you quickly pack as much as you can before walking back into the living room with your suitcase trailing behind you.

"thank you guys for coming as fast as you could and if any of those agents had family please let me know so i can send my condolences to them" you say and they all nod before walking out of the room leaving you and your dad.

"be careful" he pleads "i will, i love you" you say and he hugs me "i love you too" he says and you smile.

both of you break the hug and walk downstairs and meet with the team, you hug all of them and thank them again for their help before walking over to spencer.

"you ready" spencer asks

"as ready as i'll ever be"

it's been ages since uber updated this book but lately i've been in the writing mood so here's this chapter, i wanted to pay homage to that one episode where hotch was fighting the supremacist group but with my own twist. i really hope you guys liked this chapter !!
