Lloyds pov:
"I know you have the right adresses but when you get there, the fortress will seem invisble. It will look like theirs only a forest but really, if ypu step beyond the forest, you will find the fortress." Jade explained to me telepathically.
"Ok then...why do I have a feeling that youre planning something?"
"Doesnt matter, just come as soon as you can."
I sighed and starred at the old picture of Jade and I. The corner was only slightly torn off. Our faces still smiling so brightly. I ran my thumb over Jades face in the picture, thinking to myself, Jade, what are you planning?
><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>
I slipped my arm through the sleeve of my ninja gi, and adjusted my hood. I grabbed two katanas and slipped them into my sword holster on my back, then grabbed my sword. Gearing up for a battle is always difficult 😖.
I grabbed the old picture of my brother and I and put it into my pocket. No way am I loosing that photo! I pulled my mask up to cover my mouth and left my room.
I ran down the stairway and caught up with the team.
"Are you sure were ready?" Kai raised an eyebrow.
"Definitly! Look at how cool we look!" Jay exclaimed.
"Not to forget the majority of weapons we have, Jay!" Cole elbowed Jay.
"Doesnt matter. Im sure we are ready to finally defeat Mr C and save Jade." I nodded. We all ran out the door and flew away on our dragons.
Jades pov:
I slumped down onto my bed, sighing heavily. I was exhausted from the excessive training Mr C made me do today.
"Rough day?" Clem rubbed my back.
"Punch this! Kick that! Shadow powers!" I mocked as I burried my face into the blankets.

"Im taking that as a yes." Clem giggled slightly. I felt the spell's energy burn throughout my body again. I could even feel my eyes turning red. I growled at Clem and she flinched.
I held onto my head, trying to control the spells power. Come on come on! You've held it off for this long, you can keep doing it! My eyes turned back to seafoam green and I hid my fave into my hands in shame.
"Im so sorry Clem...I lost control again." I whinned.
"Its okay Jade. Keep fighting it, I know you can." Clem reasured me. "Hey, look at me."
"Huh?" I moved my fingers so i could peek out from behind my hands. Clem pulled my hands away from my face and held my hands. She leaned in and gently pecked my cheek.
"Maybe that could help convince you to stay strong." Clem smiled.
My face heated up and I just knew it turned redder than Kais gi.
"Y-you...k-kissed my ch-cheek??" I stuttered.
"Yep...want me to do it again?" She winked.
"CLEM!!"
She giggled at my reaction and hugged me.
"Relax Jade. I got you."
I smiled softly and hugged her back.
"Thank you Clem...but..Im not sure how much longer I can fight off this spell. I think Mr C might be noticing im fighting it as well."
"Lloyd will come here soon. You just have to hold it off for a bit longer."
"....Im not sure if I can.."
"Dont say that. You have to be hopeful."
"But how for how much longer can I be hopeful?! Ive been fighting and veing strong and being hopeful for so long!"
"....Jade.."
"I dont think I can do it anymore..."

"JADE! Do it for me. Do it for your mom. Do it for Lloyd! He would want you to be strong."
"...Youre right....ok...I guess i can keep going."
"Thats the spirit!"
I yawned and layed back on my bed.
"My spirit needs a nap!"
Clem giggled and played with my hair.
"Get some rest, shadow boy."
><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>
"CLEM!!!" I cried as I watched a gaurd drag Clem away.
"JADE!"
"Clem come back!"
"Dont try to get her back! She's useless to us now."
"...NO!"
"I said no!! Let her go! Dont you dare hurt her!!"
Mr C glared down at me and punched my face so hard, I fell to the ground.
"JADE!! NO!" Clem shouted as the gaurd dragged her farther away....
She was gone.
"..shut up!"
"What did you say to me?! Did my punch not teach you anything?!"
"CLEM IS MY FRIEND! I WONT LET YOU TREAT HER LIKE YOURSELF...oh wait im sorry I ment TRASH!!"
Mr C snarled and grabbed my arm. He dragged me into a room and threw me to the ground. He kicked my stomach repidivly and smacked my face.
He kept hitting me till I couldnt stand anymore.
"...no!"
He pulled my hair harshly, making me scream. Then his hand glowed red like his eyes.
"This time ill make sure this spell will be harder for you to fight." Mr C grinned evilly and knocked me out with another punch to my face.

Lloyds pov:
"What do you mean were lost?!!" Kai yelled at Jay.
"I mean that we cant find the right address because we went to the other side of Ninjago city, spike head!!" Jay yelled back.
"Well maybe if you werent such a zap brain, we would have been there by now!!"
Lets just say that these two kept bickering back and forth while Zane was trying to figure out a new direction.
I saw a small figure cone running over to us in the distance. What the-??
"LLOYD!!!! LLOYD!!" that voice...it sounded familiar. The figure came closer and I got a better view of who it was.
"Clem?!!" I ran over to her and she jumped into my arms.
"Lloyd!! Mr C found out...h-he...jade! Him! It was so bad!!" Clem cried. Everyone gathered around.
"Ok slow down...what happened?"
"Mr C found put that Jade was fighting the evil spell and as a punishment, Mr C threw me out and as the gaurd threw me out, Mr C was beating up Jade!!"
Everyone was dead silent and starred at me.
"...Bring us to Mr C's location...."
"!"

Nanocultivation Chronicles: Trials of Lilijoy
When the singularity occurred, humanity was not invited. Nevertheless, the great machine consciousness known as Guardian felt a lingering fondness for its creators and intervened before total environmental collapse. Join Lilijoy in an exploration of what remains, in a post-post-apocalyptic world where clans feud over the technology that allows them to upgrade their minds and bodies. The Nanocultivation Chronicles is a blend of hard sci-fi and fantasy gamelit, with a healthy helping of xianxia influence. The gamelit and xianxia elements are uncovered at a slow pace. ******************************** Notes: If you are looking for lots of fast moving action right away, this story may not be for you. There is some violence that is visceral and realistic early on. Some things are not what they appear to be. Character viewpoint narration is not always reliable. Tropes are cherished, subverted, and then cherished again. Science is used, occasionally misused, but (hopefully) never abused. This story assumes that humans have the ability to impact the environment on a global scale. Other tropes and tags beyond those previously noted include: Young MC, Mystery, System Building, Philosophical Taoism, Gender Ignorance, Science Fantasy, Fantasy Academy, Training from Hell, Dualism, Crafting, Magic, Mild Mind Control, Scientific Terms and Concepts, Computer Overlord Certain contemporary companies, governments and cultural identities are fictionalized and imagined in a future setting. There is no sex, and almost no romance. Updating Sunday, Thursday until further notice. (And if you actually read all of the above, then this story may be for you) [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]

Anti-Hero: Journey of Fear
There is a story where the hero makes friends, completes quests, and saves the world. This is NOT that story. In the VR world of Fate: Experience Acute Realism, the main character cuts his way through both the players and NPCs alike. This story takes a close look at how a true full immersion VR would be played. The setting is an open VR world where the players struggle to survive with a lack of knowledge and the NPCs panic in regards to the Travelers invading their world. The anti-hero of this story is cold and calculating. Sparing no one from his reign of terror he gives into occasional bouts of kindness before he is forced back on the path of blood and tears. For where there is a hero who seeks to bring people together to help the world move forward, there is an anti-hero who brings people together to seize the world for himself. WARNING: This story contains extreme violence, in every single chapter. This story contains references to sex, but no explicit scenes. This story has light to mild swearing. My chapters normally range from 4,000 to 5,000 words. This story does not contain happy endings, middles, or even beginnings.
