"You're being a little nightmare today,
hm?"
He scoffed,
tossing his lighter onto the dining table carelessly,
a cigarette in his hand as he looked at you
with intense blue eyes.
"Why don't 'cha just eat your breakfast,
huh?"
"No"
You refused,
staring down at your plate
like it was the worst thing in the world
all because he wouldn't give in
and make you pancakes,
furrowing your little eyebrows madly
but it just made you look cuter
and harder to take seriously.
"It's icky daddy.
I'm not eating it and then I'm going to have to starve until lunch and I'm hungry"
"If you were hungry,
you'd eat what's in front of you"
He told you firmly,
not once breaking eye contact with you.
"So don't give me that shit.
If you wanna starve,
that's your choice,
little girl.
I'm not making you fancy shit every day.
I can't be fucking bothered with it,
alright?
do you know how much
I had to fucking drink last night?"
Running a hand over his face tiredly,
he closed his eyes for a moment,
a deep throbbing in his mind from the late night,
the alcohol and the drugs combined.
It was a miracle he managed to get dressed
that morning.
"You always drink"
You huffed.
"You're an alcoholic,
daddy!
You promised me last night before you left
that I could have pancakes for breakfast
and you lied again and
I haven't even had pancakes in ages!"
"Oh,
I'm an alcoholic?"
He rolled his eyes at your accusations,
lifting the glass of whiskey to his lips ironically.
"Why don't you shut your fucking mouth?
all you do is fucking whine all the goddamn time and it's always about some shit
I don't give a fuck about"
"Says the man who is drinking again"

You breathed out.
"I hate it when you come home drunk
and try to touch me,
daddy.
And your breath smells like alcohol and you kiss me and it makes me feel gross!"
"I don't try to touch you"
He warned you with his eyes.
"I stay away from you when I drink
and I stay away from you when I've taken anything because I don't wanna get you involved.
Now what I'm not gonna let 'cha do
is sit there and tell me lies.
Apologise or you can stay
in your fucking playroom all day"
"I'd rather stay in my play room
all day then talk to you,
daddy!"
You pushed your chair out defiantly,
storming off to your playroom and slamming the door shut for extra effect,
going quiet for five minutes
before creeping out into the hallway.
"Daddy?"
You called him in a small voice,
hopeful he would give in to you if you were a really good girl and asked him especially nicely.
"Can I have pancakes now?
I promise I won't ask for them
for at least another week
and I'm really sorry I called you an alcoholic.
It's not your fault you're addicted
to alcohol and cigarettes"
An irritated sigh leaving his mouth,
he sucked his teeth in annoyance,
choosing to ignore your little comments
on his bad habits because
his little girl never meant any harm.
"Alright"
He gave in,
a firmness still in his tone.
"Get 'cha little ass in here"

The Humble Life of a Skill Trainer
For Joshua Still, Skills were the lifeblood of his business. He wanted to understand them, collect many of them, and teach a few of them. Which was a problem because while his profession of a Skill Trainer was perfectly legal, it was frowned upon by most of the kingdom. After all, it wouldn't do for a non-tailor to teach Tailoring. Or, so says the Tailors Guild. The same could be said by the Blacksmiths, the Bakers, the Butchers, the Candlestick Makers, the Mages, and every other Guild with enough money and clout to complain. But still, Skill Trainers provide a valuable service, and so he has managed to start his business and keep it under the table. To a degree. With many a bribe. But his quiet anonymous life of research, practice, and training was about to change. When the Baron demands you pay him a visit, you have little choice.

The Dungeon's Escapee
An Earthling, a Summer Elf, and the only male Phoenix in existence walk into a Dungeon... Okay, maybe they don't really do it so much for glory but rather because it's their job, and maybe they weren't really together, and some of them were actually walking out. Enter the world of Cespes, a land of magic, mystery, and monsters. Now, the Ancient Gods have gone silent even as magic enters the Golden Era. The Avish Empire might have fallen four thousand years ago, yet much of society remains fragmented, even as they share more cultural ties than ever before. Adventurers have always formed parties. Now, there are Dungeons, dark, grey blobs that dominate Kingdom maps and kill everything within sight. Yet, beyond even these obvious places of danger entwined with fortune, a forgotten evil rears its head after fermenting for millennia. A call for heroes has arrived. Warning: This story is written in the first and third person with multiple POVs. I will try to publish at least once every two weeks, if not more. Cover art by: [email protected]

The Legacy of Eloria
In the world of Aluvriel, legend speaks of the grand city of Eloria that was once lost to the darkness. It was said to contain relics of a lost age that could change reality itself. Many brave souls have searched for Eloria and the wealth, power, and glory that would come with its discovery. After six centuries, Eloria is finally found. However, one thing that the legends never mentioned was the terrible danger lurking within. What will happen when things that were lost are once again brought into the light? These discoveries could be for the good of all, or they could doom the world to eternal ruin. --- Updates will be irregular. Between working a full-time job and attending a full helping of college classes I don't have a lot of time to update. My story will have multiple view point characters. Don't be surprised when view points change, even from the very beginning.
