"Look at what I'm wearing, do you think your folks will like it? And look at my face do you think it's okay if I wear make-up?" Tan Ja Nin asked Lee Jin Ho. 

Lee Jin Ho moved closer and kissed her forehead. "Relax. It doesn't matter to them what kind of clothes you're wearing or if you have make or not, just be the person that you are in front of them and they will like you." 

"You sure?" Tan Ja Nin asked again. She doesn't want to disappoint his parents. "Did you bring home any girl here before?" 

"You are the first girlfriend that I will introduce to them."

Tan Ja Nin scoffed. "It is because you don't have any girlfriend before me. But did you bring home any other girls here?" 

Lee Jin Ho shook his head. "None. Like I did not bring home any other girl in my pad except you. Happy now?" He said as he curled up his lips. 

Tan Ja Nin blushed. Is he teasing her? 

"They are already aware that I'll be meeting them tonight right? They won't be surprised with my presence here right?" 

Lee Jin Ho nodded. "Let's go." He alighted from his car and went to the other side to open the door for Tan Ja Nin. 

She took a deep sigh before she got out from his car. 

Lee Jin Ho held her hands. "It's cold!" 

"It's because I'm so nervous." Tan Ja Nin said. 

"My parents are nice. No need to get nervous. And you look good and I'm here." Lee Jin Ho winked at her. 

Tan Ja Nin nodded and smiled at him and tried her best to calm her nerves as they walked to the villa but her heart almost jumped out from her chest when she saw Lee Chin Mei standing with the two middle-aged couple outside their front door. 

"Lee Jin Ho, what took you so long?" Madam Lee asked her son but her eyes were set on Tan Ja Nin.

Lee Jin Ho looked at his wristwatch and it was only 7PM. Their family dinner usually starts by 8PM. "We're not late." Lee Jin Ho answered and noticed that his mom's eyes were fixated on Tan Ja Nin. "Mom, aren't you going to embrace me like you always did whenever I came home?" 

"Aren't you going to introduce us to this beautiful lady?" Madam Lee said. 

Lee Chin Mei who was standing beside her mother rolled her eyes. "She was so excited to meet your girlfriend and has prepared a feast." 

Madam Lee could not contain herself and approached Tan Ja Nin. "So you're the girlfriend of my son? You are so beautiful." 

Lee Jin Ho laughed. "Mom, you're too excited that you could no longer wait for me to introduce her." 

Tan Ja Nin smiled at Madam Lee. 

"I am Lee Jin Ho's mother. I am so glad that he finally bring home a girlfriend here. We have waited for you so long" 

Tan Ja Nin was speechless and wouldn't know how to respond so she just smiled. 

"You look so familiar. It seems that I have already seen you before." Madam Lee said. 

"Mom, she is the face of our mobile phone" Lee Chin Mei commented. 

"Oh yes, she's the one in our mobile phone commercial. Is it where you've met my son?" Madam Lee asked Tan Ja Nin. 

Tan Ja Nin shook her shook. "I've known him before then. We were classmate since gradeschool." 

"So you are Song Dei Si?" Madam Lee said in too much excitement. 

Tan Ja Nin was surprised and made an awkward expression and shook her head. 

Lee Jin Ho coughed. "Mom, her name is Tan Ja Nin." 

"Oh..." Madam Lee face became apologetic and chided herself. "Forgive me Tan Ja Nin if I have mistaken you for someone else." 

Tan Ja Nin smiled. "That's okay, Madam Lee"

"Call me, Auntie please?" 

"Okay, Auntie!" 

"Tan Ja Nin, this is my Dad!" Lee Jin Ho formally introduce Master Lee.

"Nice to meet you, Master Lee." 

"Call me Uncle, too!" 

Tan Ja Nin nodded. 

"Tan Ja Nin, this is Lee Jin Ho's sister. Lee Chin Mei!" Madam Lee said as she pulled Lee Chin Mei closer to her. 

"I've already met her at Jin Ho Ge pad." Lee Chin Mei said as she smiled at Tan Ja Nin "We're pretty much close now. Right sister-out-law?" 

"Sister-out-law?" Madam Lee asked. 

Lee Chin Mei smiled "It is because they are not married yet." 

"Oh..."Madam Lee said. "Wait did you just say that you met her at your brother's place?" 

"Uhm. She was there when I visited him." 

Madam Lee nodded and looked at Lee Jin Ho. "Are you already co-habiting with each other?" 

Tan Ja Nin face blushed. Why was her mother was too straightforward? 

"Yes, mom, she's living at my pad now!" 

Lee Chin Mei was surprised. "Since when?"

Before Lee Jin Ho could answer his sister question, he heard his father's voice "Why are you two living together?"

Tan Ja Nin swallowed her own saliva. Does his parents weren't into this kind of living arrangement? Did she disappoint them? What were they thinking about her now that they already knew that she was living with Lee Jin Ho? 

"Aren't you supposed to marry her first?" Master Lee asked Lee Jin Ho. 

Lee Jin Ho looked at his dad and saw his cold expression. He looked at his mom and she was eerie quiet. He touched his glabella. He didn't expect that it would be a big deal for his parents but there was no way that he would not tell them about it. 

He looked at Tan Ja Nin and she was about to cry. He held her hands and pressed it. He wanted her to know that everything will be alright. 

"Why don't we go inside first?..." Lee Jin Ho said. They were just standing outside the main door and he felt that it was more appropriate if they discuss it inside the house. 

Master Lee nodded and walked inside first. Madam Lee walked behind him while Lee Chin Mei walked behind her mother. 

Lee Jin Ho did not let go of Tan Ja Nin's hand while they walked together.
