၂၆၇။ ကြောက်တက်လိုက်တာ
နယ်မြေထဲသို့ရောက်သည့်အခါ လင်းချင်းသည် ဆိုလာပစ္စည်းပုံဘေးတွင် ပေါ်လာသည်။ အခြားသူများသည် ဒီနေရာသို့ လာကြည့်နေကြနှင့်ပြီ ဖြစ်သည်။ ထိုအချိန်တွင် သူတို့မှာ ပစ္စည်းများကို ဘယ်လိုပြန်ဆင်ရမလဲ ဆိုသည်ကို ပြောနေကြသည်။
လင်းချင်းသည် အနားသို့သွားကာ
“ဆင်တက်တဲ့သူရှိလား?”
သူမ၏အသံကြားမှ သူမကို လှည့်ကြည့်ကြသည်။ လင်းဖန်သည် ခေါင်းခါပြကာ
“ဘယ်သူမှ မလုပ်တက်ဘူး။ လီကျန်းတို့ရော ဘယ်လိုဆင်ရမလဲဆိုတာ သိကြလား?”
ဒီလိုပြောရင် လီကျန်းတို့အား လှည့်မေးလိုက်သည်။
လီကျန်းသည် ခေါင်းခါကာ
“ဟင့်အင်း။ ဒုခေါင်းဆောင်ယွမ်က အကူအညီရမယ့်သူတွေ ခေါ်လာမှာကိုပဲ စောင့်ရတော့မယ့်ပုံပဲ”
လင်းချင်းသည် လီကျန်းတို့ကိုကြည့်ကာ
“ဘာဖြစ်လို့ နင်တို့ကို အရင်ကတွေ့ဖူးတယ်လို့ ငါထင်နေရတာလဲ? နင်တို့အနံ့တွေကို အရမ်းရင်းနှီးနေတယ်”
စကားပြောရင်းဖြင့် သူတို့အနားသို့သွားကာ အနံ့တရှုံ့ရှုံ့ခံနေသည်။
“ဟေ့!”
လီကျန်းတို့သည် ချက်ချင်းနော်ကဆုတ်ကုန်သည်။ ဖန်ယုမင်းသည် လက်အမြန်ကာပြကာ
“မဟုတ်ဘူး မဟုတ်ဘူး အရင်က မတွေ့ဘူး။ အနည်းဆုံးတော့ ငါတို့မမြင်ဖူးတာ သေချာတယ်”
လင်းချင်း၏ တောက်ပြောင်နေသည့် ခေါင်းတုံးနှင့် နက်မှောင်နေသည့် မျက်လုံးတစ်စုံတို့ကြောင့် သူတို့သည် ကြောက်၍ကြက်သီးမထဘဲ မနေနိုင်ကြပေ။
လင်းချင်းသည် သူ့အနားသို့ကပ်ကာ ကောက်ကျစ်သူလိုမျိုး
“ဘာဖြစ်လို့ ငါ့ကိုကြောက်နေတာလဲ? ငါနင့်ကိုစားမှာ ကြောက်နေတာလား? မပူပါနဲ့။ ငါက ငပျင်းလေးတွေကို မစားဘူး!”
သူမအနားသို့ ကပ်လာသည့်အခါ ဖန်ယုမင်းသည် တကယ့်ကို ကြောက်သွားသည်။ သို့သော်လည်း သူ့ကိုစနေမှန်းတော့ ခံစားမိသည်။
“နင်. . .နင်. . .ငါနဲ့ဝေးဝေးမှာနေ!”
လင်းချင်းသည် နောက်သို့ဆုတ်၍ ပြုံးလိုက်ကာ လီကျန်းတို့ကို ခေါင်းအစခြေအဆုံးကြည့်ပြီး
“နင်တို့ကို တစ်နေရာရာမှာ တွေ့ခဲ့ဖူးသလိုမျိုး တကယ်ခံစားနေရတာ။ ဘယ်လောက်တောင် ထူးဆန်းသလဲ”
လီကျန်းသည် ခေါင်းခါကာ သူမကိုပြုံးပြ၍
“ဘာဖြစ်လို့ ဒီလိုခံစားနေရသလဲ ဆိုတာတော့ မသိပင်မယ့် ငါတို့နင့်ကို အရင်က တကယ်မတွေ့ဖူးတာ”
စကားပြောရင်းဖြင့် ဖေးချောင်လင်း၊ လဲ့ယောင်နှင့် ဟွမ်မင်းတို့ကို လှည့်ကြည့်လိုက်သည်။ သူတို့သည်လည်း လင်းချင်းကို မမြင်ဖူးကြတာ သေချာကြောင်း ခေါင်းခါပြကြသည်။
ဟွမ်မင်းကတော့ လင်းချင်း၏ မျက်နှာကို ရှုပ်ထွေးစွာကြည့်နေရင်း အကြပ်ရိုက်နေပုံရကာ မေးသည်။
“ငါရင်းနှီးနေသလိုပဲ။ ပင်လယ်မြို့တော်စခန်းကလား?”
လင်းချင်းနှင့် သူ့ကြားတွင် ဝေးနေသဖြင့် လင်းချင်းသည် သူ့အတွေးများကို မကြားရပေ။ သို့သော်လည်း သူ့မျက်လုံးများကို ကြည့်လိုက်သည့်အခါ တစ်ခုခုကို တွေးနေကြောင်း မြင်ရသည်။
“ဇွန်ဘီမဖြစ်ခင်ကလား? ဟုတ်တယ်”
သူမပြန်ဖြေသည်။
ဟွမ်မင်းသည် သူမ၏မျက်နှာကိုကြည့်ကာ
“ငါနင့်ကို မြင်ဖူးသလို ခံစားရပင်မယ့် ဘယ်နေရာမှာ ဘယ်တုန်းကလဲ ဆိုတာကို မမှတ်မိဘူး။ နာမည်သိလို့ရမလား?”
လင်းချင်းသည် သူ့ကိုအဓိပ္ပါယ်တစ်ခုခုရှိနေသည့် လေသံများဖြင့်
“ငါ့နာမည်ကို နင်မသိရင် ပိုကောင်းမယ်လို့ ငါထင်တာပဲ”
ဟွမ်မင်းသည် ဟေးဒီးစခန်းက မဟုတ်မှန်း သိသောကြောင့် လီကျန်းတို့လူ မဟုတ်ကြောင်း သူမသိသည်။ ပင်လယ်မြို့တော်စခန်းကဖြစ်ပြီး သူမ၏ရုပ်သွင်နှင့် ပတ်သတ်၍ ထိုစခန်းက လူတိုင်းသည် အထင်အမြင်ကောင်းမှာ မဟုတ်သည်ကို သူမခန့်မှန်းမိသည်။
သူမသည် အရင်လိုမိတ်ကပ်မလိမ်းတော့သဖြင့် အရင်ကနှင့် အတော်ကွာသွားပြီး ကတုံးကြီးဖြင့် ဇွန်ဘီမျက်လုံးများ ရှိနေသည်။ သို့သော်လည်း ဟွမ်မင်းသည် သူမကို အနည်းငယ် မှတ်မိနေသေးသည်။
“ဘာဖြစ်လို့လဲ? နင့်နာမည်က လု. . .”
ဘေးကလင်းဟောင်သည် ရုတ်တရပ် သူမ၏နာမည်ကို ပြောဖို့လုပ်သည်။

လင်းချင်းသည် ထူးဆန်းသည့် အသံများကို လျှောက်အော်ရင်း သူ့ကိုကြားက ဖြတ်တားလိုက်သည်။
‘နင်က ပင်လယ်မြို့တော်စခန်းကမှ မဟုတ်တာ’
လင်းချင်းသည် ဒီလိုပိတ်အော်ပစ်ချင်အောင်ကို ခပ်ချဉ်ချဉ်ဖြစ်နေသည်။ သူ့ကိုတစ်ချက်ကြည့်ပြီးသည်နှင့် လီကျန်းကို မေးလိုက်သည်။
“အရင်တုန်းက နင်တို့အကုန်လုံးက ငရဲမီးခေါင်းဆောင်အောက်က လူတွေမလား?”
သူမသည် ဒီနာမည်ကြီးမှာ လုံးဝစိမ်းသက်နေပြီး ထုတ်ပြောရသည်ကတောင် ထူးဆန်းလို့နေသည်။
လီကျန်းသည် ခေါင်းငြိမ့်ကာ မေးသည်။
“ဟုတ်တယ်။ ဘာဖြစ်လို့လဲ?”
အမျိုးသမီးလင်းနှင့် လင်းဖန်တို့သည်လည်း အထင်အချို့ဖြင့် လင်းချင်းကို စိုက်ကြည့်လာကြသည်။ လင်းချင်းသည် ဒီအကြည့်များကို သတိမိလိုက်သဖြင့် ချက်ချင်းခေါင်းစဉ်ပြောင်းလိုက်သည်။
“ဪ ဘာမှမဟုတ်ပါဘူး။ ဒီတိုင်းသိချင်လို့”
ထိုအချိန်တွင် လင်းဝမ်ဝမ်သည် သူမ၏အနားသို့လာကာ ပုံးနှစ်ပုံထဲတွင် ထိုင်နေရသည့် ဇွန်ဘီနှစ်ကောင်ကို လက်ညိုးထိုးပြကာ မေးသည်။
“ဒါဇွန်ဘီနှစ်ကောင်မလား? သူတို့ကို ဘာလုပ်ထားတာလဲ?”
လင်းချင်းသည် လင်းဝမ်ဝမ်ပြရာကို ကြည့်လိုက်သည့်အခါ ချူးလီလီ၏ လက်အောက်ခံနှစ်ကောင်ကို ပြောနေကြောင်း သိလိုက်သည်။
“ဘမှမဟုတ်ပါဘူး။ သူတို့ကို ရေချိုးခိုင်းထားတာ”
ဒီလိုပြောလိုက်ပြီးနောက် ဇွန်ဘီနှစ်ကောင်ဆီသို့ သူမသွားလိုက်သည်။ သူတို့ရေပုံးထဲက ရေများထဲမှ စွမ်းအားများသည် ကုန်ခမ်းလုနီးပါးဖြစ်နေပြီ။ ထိုဇွန်ဘီနှစ်ကောင်သည် လူသားစုဘက်သို့ လှည့်ကြည့်နေကြတာ ဖြစ်သည်။ လင်းချင်းသည် ဒီဇွန်ဘီနှစ်ကောင်သည် ခွေးကြီးနှစ်ကောင်နှင့် တူလွန်းသောကြောင့် ကြည့်မိတိုင်း ရယ်ချင်နေမိသည်။
လင်းဝမ်ဝမ်နှင့် လုံချင်းယင်တို့သည် သူမအနောက်ကနေ စပ်စုစွာဖြင့် လိုက်လာကြသည်။ သူတို့နောက်တွင် လင်းဟောင်နှင့် ဖန်ယုမင်းတို့က ပါလာသည်။ ဖန်ယုမင်းသည် သိပ်လိုက်ချင်တာ မဟုတ်သော်လည်း လင်းဟောင်က ဆွဲခေါ်လာတာဖြစ်သည်။ သူတို့လေးယောက်သည် လင်းချင်းနှင့် နှစ်မီတာအကွာကနေ လိုက်လာကာ သူမဘာလုပ်မလဲကို လိုက်ကြည့်ကြတာ ဖြစ်သည်။

သူတို့အနားသို့ရောက်လာသည့်အခါ ဇွန်ဘီနှစ်ကောင်သည် သူတို့အား ကြောက်ဖို့ကောင်းသည့် မျက်လုံးမည်းမည်းကြီးများဖြင့် ဆာလောင်စွာ စိုက်ကြည့်နေသည်ကို တွေ့လိုက်ရသည်။
“အမယ်လေး! ငါတို့ကိုပုံးထဲကနေ ခုန်ဆင်းပြီး ကိုက်စားတော့မှာမလား?”
ဖန်းယုမင်းသည် ထအော်သည်။
လင်းချင်းသည် သူတို့ကိုကြည့်ကာ
“ဒီကိုလာ။ ခုန်ထွက်နိုင်မနိုင်ကို အရှေ့ကို တိုးကြည့်ပါလား?”
လင်းချင်းက တွေးနေမိသည်။
‘ဘာဖြစ်လို့ သူကဒီလောက်ကြောက်တက်ရတာလဲ?’
ဖန်ယုမင်းသည် ချက်ချင်းကို ခေါင်းကိုဆက်တိုက်ခါပြသည်။ လင်းဟောင်ကသာ သူ့လက်မောင်းကို တင်းတင်းဆွဲ၍ ခေါ်မထားလျှင် သူလှည့်ပြေးနေသည်က ကြာလောက်ပြီ။
လင်းဝမ်ဝမ်သည် အရှေ့သို့တိုးကာ ပုံးထဲက ဇွန်ဘီနှစ်ကောင်ကို ကြည့်ရင်း သိချင်စွာ မေးသည်။
“သူတို့ဘာလုပ်နေကြတာလဲ?”
သူမသည် ဒီလိုငြိမ်သည့် ဇွန်ဘီများကို ပထမဆုံးမြင်ဖူးခြင်း ဖြစ်သည်။ သူတို့မျက်နှာများသည် သန့်ရှင်းစွာ ဆေးကြောထားသော်လည်း ဖြူဖျော့နေသည့် အသားအရည်၊ မျက်တွင်းဟောက်ပက်ကြီးများနှင့် မျက်ကွင်းများ၊ သွားစွယ်များနှင့် မျက်လုံးနက်တို့က သူတို့အား ကြောက်ဖို့ကောင်းနေဆဲ ဖြစ်သည်။
“ပုံပြောင်းဖို့”
လင်းချင်းက ပြောသည်။
လင်းချင်းက အနားသို့ကပ်လာသည့်အခါ ဇွန်ဘီနှစ်ကောင်က သူမအား အော်ကြသည်။ လသ်းချင်းသည် ဇွန်ဘီမ၏ ပုံးထဲကရေများကို ကြည့်လိုက်ကာ သူမအား အေးစက်သည့် မျက်နှာထားဖြင့်
“နင့်ပုံးထဲကရေတွေကို ဒီလောက်အထိ သောက်လိုက်ရသလား? သေမတက် ဆာနေလို့လား?”
ဇွန်ဘီမ၏ ပုံးထဲက ရေများသည် အခုဆိုလျှင် ခါးလောက်သာရှိတော့သဖြင့် နည်းနည်းဆွံ့အသွားသည်။
“ဂါး”
ဇွန်ဘီမသည် လင်းဝမ်ဝမ်တို့အနံ့ဖြင့် ဆွဲဆောင်ခံလိုက်ရကာ မဝံ့မရဲဖြင့် အော်သည်။
‘သူတို့အနံ့က အရမ်းကောင်းတယ် ငါအရမ်းစားချင်နေပြီ အရမ်းဗိုက်ဆာတယ်’
လင်းချင်းသည် လင်းဝမ်ဝမ်ကို လှည့်ကြည့်ကာ ပြောသည်။
“နင်တို့အနံ့က ဒီနှစ်ကောင်ကို ဆွဲဆောင်နေတာ”
စကားဆုံးသည်နှင့် ဖန်ယုမင်းသည် သူ့အားဆုပ်ထားသည့် လင်းဟောင်၏ လက်ထဲမှ အတင်းရုန်းထွက်ကာ ထွက်ပြေးတော့သည်။
“ဟေ့ကောင်! ဘာဖြစ်လို့ ပြေးတာလဲ? မင်းယောက်ျားမဟုတ်ဘူးလား? ဘာဖြစ်လို့ ဒီလောက်ကြောက်နေတာလဲ?”
လင်းဟောင်က အနောက်ကနေ လှမ်းအော်သည်။
“ယောက်ျားဆိုတိုင်း ဇွန်ဘီမကြောက်ရဘူးလို့ ဘယ်သူကပြောလဲ!!!”
ဖန်းယုမေးသည် အဝေးကနေ လှမ်းအော်သည်။
လင်းဟောင်သည် လင်းဝမ်ဝမ်နှင့် လုံချင်းယင်တို့ကို လက်ညိုးထိုးပြကာ
“ဒီမှာကြည့်! မိန်းကလေးတွေတောင် မကြောက်ဘူး မင်းကဘာကိုကြောက်ရမှာလဲ?”
လင်းဝမ်ဝမ်နှင့် လုံချင်းယင်တို့သည် ဘာဖြစ်လို့ ဇွန်ဘီနှစ်ကောင်က ပုံးထဲတွင် ငြိမ်နေသလဲကို သိချင်နေကြတာဖြစ်သည်။ ဇွန်ဘီနှစ်ကောင်သည် အသက်ရှိနေကာ သူတို့မျက်လုံးထဲတွင် သူမတို့အား အရမ်းစားချင်နေပုံပေါ်နေသည်။ သို့သော်လည်း နည်းနည်းလေးတောင်မှ မလှုပ်ပေ။
‘ကြိုးတုပ်ခံထားရတာလား?’
၂၆၇။ ေၾကာက္တက္လိုက္တာ
နယ္ေျမထဲသို႔ေရာက္သည့္အခါ လင္းခ်င္းသည္ ဆိုလာပစၥည္းပုံေဘးတြင္ ေပၚလာသည္။ အျခားသူမ်ားသည္ ဒီေနရာသို႔ လာၾကည့္ေနၾကႏွင့္ၿပီ ျဖစ္သည္။ ထိုအခ်ိန္တြင္ သူတို႔မွာ ပစၥည္းမ်ားကို ဘယ္လိုျပန္ဆင္ရမလဲ ဆိုသည္ကို ေျပာေနၾကသည္။
လင္းခ်င္းသည္ အနားသို႔သြားကာ
“ဆင္တက္တဲ့သူရွိလား?”
သူမ၏အသံၾကားမွ သူမကို လွည့္ၾကည့္ၾကသည္။ လင္းဖန္သည္ ေခါင္းခါျပကာ
“ဘယ္သူမွ မလုပ္တက္ဘူး။ လီက်န္းတို႔ေရာ ဘယ္လိုဆင္ရမလဲဆိုတာ သိၾကလား?”
ဒီလိုေျပာရင္ လီက်န္းတို႔အား လွည့္ေမးလိုက္သည္။
လီက်န္းသည္ ေခါင္းခါကာ
“ဟင့္အင္း။ ဒုေခါင္းေဆာင္ယြမ္က အကူအညီရမယ့္သူေတြ ေခၚလာမွာကိုပဲ ေစာင့္ရေတာ့မယ့္ပုံပဲ”
လင္းခ်င္းသည္ လီက်န္းတို႔ကိုၾကည့္ကာ
“ဘာျဖစ္လို႔ နင္တို႔ကို အရင္ကေတြ႕ဖူးတယ္လို႔ ငါထင္ေနရတာလဲ? နင္တို႔အနံ႕ေတြကို အရမ္းရင္းႏွီးေနတယ္”
စကားေျပာရင္းျဖင့္ သူတို႔အနားသို႔သြားကာ အနံ႕တရႈံ႕ရႈံ႕ခံေနသည္။
“ေဟ့!”
လီက်န္းတို႔သည္ ခ်က္ခ်င္းေနာ္ကဆုတ္ကုန္သည္။ ဖန္ယုမင္းသည္ လက္အျမန္ကာျပကာ
“မဟုတ္ဘူး မဟုတ္ဘူး အရင္က မေတြ႕ဘူး။ အနည္းဆုံးေတာ့ ငါတို႔မျမင္ဖူးတာ ေသခ်ာတယ္”
လင္းခ်င္း၏ ေတာက္ေျပာင္ေနသည့္ ေခါင္းတုံးႏွင့္ နက္ေမွာင္ေနသည့္ မ်က္လုံးတစ္စုံတို႔ေၾကာင့္ သူတို႔သည္ ေၾကာက္၍ၾကက္သီးမထဘဲ မေနနိုင္ၾကေပ။
လင္းခ်င္းသည္ သူ႕အနားသို႔ကပ္ကာ ေကာက္က်စ္သူလိုမ်ိဳး
“ဘာျဖစ္လို႔ ငါ့ကိုေၾကာက္ေနတာလဲ? ငါနင့္ကိုစားမွာ ေၾကာက္ေနတာလား? မပူပါနဲ႕။ ငါက ငပ်င္းေလးေတြကို မစားဘူး!”
သူမအနားသို႔ ကပ္လာသည့္အခါ ဖန္ယုမင္းသည္ တကယ့္ကို ေၾကာက္သြားသည္။ သို႔ေသာ္လည္း သူ႕ကိုစေနမွန္းေတာ့ ခံစားမိသည္။
“နင္. . .နင္. . .ငါနဲ႕ေဝးေဝးမွာေန!”
လင္းခ်င္းသည္ ေနာက္သို႔ဆုတ္၍ ၿပဳံးလိုက္ကာ လီက်န္းတို႔ကို ေခါင္းအစေျခအဆုံးၾကည့္ၿပီး
“နင္တို႔ကို တစ္ေနရာရာမွာ ေတြ႕ခဲ့ဖူးသလိုမ်ိဳး တကယ္ခံစားေနရတာ။ ဘယ္ေလာက္ေတာင္ ထူးဆန္းသလဲ”
လီက်န္းသည္ ေခါင္းခါကာ သူမကိုၿပဳံးျပ၍
“ဘာျဖစ္လို႔ ဒီလိုခံစားေနရသလဲ ဆိုတာေတာ့ မသိပင္မယ့္ ငါတို႔နင့္ကို အရင္က တကယ္မေတြ႕ဖူးတာ”
စကားေျပာရင္းျဖင့္ ေဖးေခ်ာင္လင္း၊ လဲ့ေယာင္ႏွင့္ ဟြမ္မင္းတို႔ကို လွည့္ၾကည့္လိုက္သည္။ သူတို႔သည္လည္း လင္းခ်င္းကို မျမင္ဖူးၾကတာ ေသခ်ာေၾကာင္း ေခါင္းခါျပၾကသည္။
ဟြမ္မင္းကေတာ့ လင္းခ်င္း၏ မ်က္ႏွာကို ရႈပ္ေထြးစြာၾကည့္ေနရင္း အၾကပ္ရိုက္ေနပုံရကာ ေမးသည္။
“ငါရင္းႏွီးေနသလိုပဲ။ ပင္လယ္ၿမိဳ႕ေတာ္စခန္းကလား?”
လင္းခ်င္းႏွင့္ သူ႕ၾကားတြင္ ေဝးေနသျဖင့္ လင္းခ်င္းသည္ သူ႕အေတြးမ်ားကို မၾကားရေပ။ သို႔ေသာ္လည္း သူ႕မ်က္လုံးမ်ားကို ၾကည့္လိုက္သည့္အခါ တစ္ခုခုကို ေတြးေနေၾကာင္း ျမင္ရသည္။

သူမသည္ အရင္လိုမိတ္ကပ္မလိမ္းေတာ့သျဖင့္ အရင္ကႏွင့္ အေတာ္ကြာသြားၿပီး ကတုံးႀကီးျဖင့္ ဇြန္ဘီမ်က္လုံးမ်ား ရွိေနသည္။ သို႔ေသာ္လည္း ဟြမ္မင္းသည္ သူမကို အနည္းငယ္ မွတ္မိေနေသးသည္။

လင္းခ်င္းသည္ ထူးဆန္းသည့္ အသံမ်ားကို ေလွ်ာက္ေအာ္ရင္း သူ႕ကိုၾကားက ျဖတ္တားလိုက္သည္။
‘နင္က ပင္လယ္ၿမိဳ႕ေတာ္စခန္းကမွ မဟုတ္တာ’
လင္းခ်င္းသည္ ဒီလိုပိတ္ေအာ္ပစ္ခ်င္ေအာင္ကို ခပ္ခ်ဥ္ခ်ဥ္ျဖစ္ေနသည္။ သူ႕ကိုတစ္ခ်က္ၾကည့္ၿပီးသည္ႏွင့္ လီက်န္းကို ေမးလိုက္သည္။
“အရင္တုန္းက နင္တို႔အကုန္လုံးက ငရဲမီးေခါင္းေဆာင္ေအာက္က လူေတြမလား?”
သူမသည္ ဒီနာမည္ႀကီးမွာ လုံးဝစိမ္းသက္ေနၿပီး ထုတ္ေျပာရသည္ကေတာင္ ထူးဆန္းလို႔ေနသည္။
လီက်န္းသည္ ေခါင္းၿငိမ့္ကာ ေမးသည္။
“ဟုတ္တယ္။ ဘာျဖစ္လို႔လဲ?”
အမ်ိဳးသမီးလင္းႏွင့္ လင္းဖန္တို႔သည္လည္း အထင္အခ်ိဳ႕ျဖင့္ လင္းခ်င္းကို စိုက္ၾကည့္လာၾကသည္။ လင္းခ်င္းသည္ ဒီအၾကည့္မ်ားကို သတိမိလိုက္သျဖင့္ ခ်က္ခ်င္းေခါင္းစဥ္ေျပာင္းလိုက္သည္။
“ဪ ဘာမွမဟုတ္ပါဘူး။ ဒီတိုင္းသိခ်င္လို႔”
ထိုအခ်ိန္တြင္ လင္းဝမ္ဝမ္သည္ သူမ၏အနားသို႔လာကာ ပုံးႏွစ္ပုံထဲတြင္ ထိုင္ေနရသည့္ ဇြန္ဘီႏွစ္ေကာင္ကို လက္ညိုးထိုးျပကာ ေမးသည္။
“ဒါဇြန္ဘီႏွစ္ေကာင္မလား? သူတို႔ကို ဘာလုပ္ထားတာလဲ?”
လင္းခ်င္းသည္ လင္းဝမ္ဝမ္ျပရာကို ၾကည့္လိုက္သည့္အခါ ခ်ဴးလီလီ၏ လက္ေအာက္ခံႏွစ္ေကာင္ကို ေျပာေနေၾကာင္း သိလိုက္သည္။
“ဘမွမဟုတ္ပါဘူး။ သူတို႔ကို ေရခ်ိဳးခိုင္းထားတာ”
ဒီလိုေျပာလိုက္ၿပီးေနာက္ ဇြန္ဘီႏွစ္ေကာင္ဆီသို႔ သူမသြားလိုက္သည္။ သူတို႔ေရပုံးထဲက ေရမ်ားထဲမွ စြမ္းအားမ်ားသည္ ကုန္ခမ္းလုနီးပါးျဖစ္ေနၿပီ။ ထိုဇြန္ဘီႏွစ္ေကာင္သည္ လူသားစုဘက္သို႔ လွည့္ၾကည့္ေနၾကတာ ျဖစ္သည္။ လင္းခ်င္းသည္ ဒီဇြန္ဘီႏွစ္ေကာင္သည္ ေခြးႀကီးႏွစ္ေကာင္ႏွင့္ တူလြန္းေသာေၾကာင့္ ၾကည့္မိတိုင္း ရယ္ခ်င္ေနမိသည္။
လင္းဝမ္ဝမ္ႏွင့္ လုံခ်င္းယင္တို႔သည္ သူမအေနာက္ကေန စပ္စုစြာျဖင့္ လိုက္လာၾကသည္။ သူတို႔ေနာက္တြင္ လင္းေဟာင္ႏွင့္ ဖန္ယုမင္းတို႔က ပါလာသည္။ ဖန္ယုမင္းသည္ သိပ္လိုက္ခ်င္တာ မဟုတ္ေသာ္လည္း လင္းေဟာင္က ဆြဲေခၚလာတာျဖစ္သည္။ သူတို႔ေလးေယာက္သည္ လင္းခ်င္းႏွင့္ ႏွစ္မီတာအကြာကေန လိုက္လာကာ သူမဘာလုပ္မလဲကို လိုက္ၾကည့္ၾကတာ ျဖစ္သည္။
သူတို႔အနားသို႔ေရာက္လာသည့္အခါ ဇြန္ဘီႏွစ္ေကာင္သည္ သူတို႔အား ေၾကာက္ဖို႔ေကာင္းသည့္ မ်က္လုံးမည္းမည္းႀကီးမ်ားျဖင့္ ဆာေလာင္စြာ စိုက္ၾကည့္ေနသည္ကို ေတြ႕လိုက္ရသည္။
“အမယ္ေလး! ငါတို႔ကိုပုံးထဲကေန ခုန္ဆင္းၿပီး ကိုက္စားေတာ့မွာမလား?”
ဖန္းယုမင္းသည္ ထေအာ္သည္။
လင္းခ်င္းသည္ သူတို႔ကိုၾကည့္ကာ
“ဒီကိုလာ။ ခုန္ထြက္နိုင္မနိုင္ကို အေရွ႕ကို တိုးၾကည့္ပါလား?”
လင္းခ်င္းက ေတြးေနမိသည္။
‘ဘာျဖစ္လို႔ သူကဒီေလာက္ေၾကာက္တက္ရတာလဲ?’
ဖန္ယုမင္းသည္ ခ်က္ခ်င္းကို ေခါင္းကိုဆက္တိုက္ခါျပသည္။ လင္းေဟာင္ကသာ သူ႕လက္ေမာင္းကို တင္းတင္းဆြဲ၍ ေခၚမထားလွ်င္ သူလွည့္ေျပးေနသည္က ၾကာေလာက္ၿပီ။
လင္းဝမ္ဝမ္သည္ အေရွ႕သို႔တိုးကာ ပုံးထဲက ဇြန္ဘီႏွစ္ေကာင္ကို ၾကည့္ရင္း သိခ်င္စြာ ေမးသည္။
“သူတို႔ဘာလုပ္ေနၾကတာလဲ?”
သူမသည္ ဒီလိုၿငိမ္သည့္ ဇြန္ဘီမ်ားကို ပထမဆုံးျမင္ဖူးျခင္း ျဖစ္သည္။ သူတို႔မ်က္ႏွာမ်ားသည္ သန့္ရွင္းစြာ ေဆးေၾကာထားေသာ္လည္း ျဖဴေဖ်ာ့ေနသည့္ အသားအရည္၊ မ်က္တြင္းေဟာက္ပက္ႀကီးမ်ားႏွင့္ မ်က္ကြင္းမ်ား၊ သြားစြယ္မ်ားႏွင့္ မ်က္လုံးနက္တို႔က သူတို႔အား ေၾကာက္ဖို႔ေကာင္းေနဆဲ ျဖစ္သည္။
“ပုံေျပာင္းဖို႔”
လင္းခ်င္းက ေျပာသည္။
လင္းခ်င္းက အနားသို႔ကပ္လာသည့္အခါ ဇြန္ဘီႏွစ္ေကာင္က သူမအား ေအာ္ၾကသည္။ လသ္းခ်င္းသည္ ဇြန္ဘီမ၏ ပုံးထဲကေရမ်ားကို ၾကည့္လိုက္ကာ သူမအား ေအးစက္သည့္ မ်က္ႏွာထားျဖင့္
“နင့္ပုံးထဲကေရေတြကို ဒီေလာက္အထိ ေသာက္လိုက္ရသလား? ေသမတက္ ဆာေနလို႔လား?”
ဇြန္ဘီမ၏ ပုံးထဲက ေရမ်ားသည္ အခုဆိုလွ်င္ ခါးေလာက္သာရွိေတာ့သျဖင့္ နည္းနည္းဆြံ႕အသြားသည္။
“ဂါး”
ဇြန္ဘီမသည္ လင္းဝမ္ဝမ္တို႔အနံ႕ျဖင့္ ဆြဲေဆာင္ခံလိုက္ရကာ မဝံ့မရဲျဖင့္ ေအာ္သည္။
‘သူတို႔အနံ႕က အရမ္းေကာင္းတယ္ ငါအရမ္းစားခ်င္ေနၿပီ အရမ္းဗိုက္ဆာတယ္’
လင္းခ်င္းသည္ လင္းဝမ္ဝမ္ကို လွည့္ၾကည့္ကာ ေျပာသည္။
“နင္တို႔အနံ႕က ဒီႏွစ္ေကာင္ကို ဆြဲေဆာင္ေနတာ”
စကားဆုံးသည္ႏွင့္ ဖန္ယုမင္းသည္ သူ႕အားဆုပ္ထားသည့္ လင္းေဟာင္၏ လက္ထဲမွ အတင္း႐ုန္းထြက္ကာ ထြက္ေျပးေတာ့သည္။
“ေဟ့ေကာင္! ဘာျဖစ္လို႔ ေျပးတာလဲ? မင္းေယာက္်ားမဟုတ္ဘူးလား? ဘာျဖစ္လို႔ ဒီေလာက္ေၾကာက္ေနတာလဲ?”
လင္းေဟာင္က အေနာက္ကေန လွမ္းေအာ္သည္။

He is afraid and unprepared to take the crown, but at least his cousin Julius is with on this harrowing journey fraught with assassins, wild mythical beast, black magic, and demons. His cousin is the only person he can truly trust, but he must take a chance and put his life in the hands of others if he plans to survive. ***This is the first long-length writing I have ever undertaken, and I wish to get some critical feedback. I am not professionally trained as a writer but I have tried my best to teach myself and make the chapters as clean as possible. I believe I have reached a point where my limited skills cannot improve the work or make any more corrections.
